had her staff read the legislation /now law, that allows criminals and their defense council to proclaim:
"Unfit to stand trial" - and they are automatically released. Total insanity. Democrats wrote the law - and GOP staffers read it and suggested the GOP vote for it. Stupid GOP did so.
Now criminals walk free and commit more crime. As is occurring.
We need a law to protect citizens from staffers. Also a law that forces the actual elected official to read the legislation.

Clearly NOT a good mother. There was some talk about her story changing though. Experts said that her motives fit the pattern of so-called "altruistic murder-suicide." She didn't, so the story goes, want the children to suffer after she killed herself. Anyway, as the case went on, Clancy claimed that a male voice in her head told her to kill the children. Psychosis may have been easier to sell to a jury and more likely to win her leniency.
Lest we forget... the children's names were Cora (age 5), Dawson (age 3), and Callan (8 months). The father's name (and the fourth victim) is Patrick.
Does anyone believe that, had Clancy been a single young father who did the same things, he wouldn't have been convicted inside of the first hour of deliberations by the exact same jury?

How is a person that has "five Healthcare providers" NOT getting help? She got plenty of help it would appear, it wasn't effective help.
Employers are allowed to drug test job applicants and pending hires for safety purposes. They don't want you addicted to coke, heroine, or showing up to work stoned or high.
If this verdict determines that hormonal women can be found not guilty of murder for reason of insanity, will employers be allowed to ask women if they are currently hormonal?
The precedent here is insane. Is this progress? Is this really what feminists want?

I watched Billy Bush’s Hot Take on this yesterday on YT. He had attorney Melanie Little on, who has been immersed in this trial, much as she has been with the Karen Read matter.
One of the things Billy Bush said was that the Commonwealth did not release any of the transcripts or video from Clancy’s intake, where she was initially questioned on the events. This was very unlike the Karen Read situation, where the Commonwealth released anything they could, determined to cast Read in a negative light. I just thought that was rather interesting.
Kevin Reddington has a long legacy of defending the indefensible, and has pulled out some real wins in that area, including defining the “battered womens’ syndrome” which led to the acquittal of his client.
Having said all that, I do think Clancy is guilty of the act, and if it’s true that none of the so-called “care providers” knew of each other, I would think that would be a finding of negligence.
She had plenty of help and support. I'm willing to believe that postpartum psychosis is a real thing, and also to believe that she didn't have it. It doesn't present as a one-time thing, and as the AI noted, she showed too much consciousness of right and wrong.
Motive is not an element of the crime, but one can't help but wonder - if she wasn't crazy, why did she do it?

Herein lies the problem: Bad Therapy. So much of what passes for mental health care goes only so far as: take this. I'm not entirely sure that half of all "improvement" from the meds is placebo. I think someone should go sue all those doctors and pharamceutical companies. Fucking racket.
Rather than be prescribed pills, she probably would have been better off taking ayahuasca with Aaron Rogers in Peru or wherever the hell he goes for that.
