"This is no different from what the Heritage Foundation wants for women in the US. Except maybe instead of burqas..."

"... they want us in milk maid dresses, heavy hideous makeup, plastic surgery and naked. And it's actually worse when I think about their plans for society as a whole with illiteracy, poisoned food, toxic 'health' care, etc. Separation of religion and state must happen to even attempt a free society. This is why this concept exists."

Kermit Gosnell and the super coil

Gosnell, of course, continued to work for decades. And another pro-choice man, Tom Ridge, decided that Philadelphia ought to stop doing health inspections in abortion clinics.

Because what could go wrong with an unregulated "doctor" who's operating a clinic with the express intent of causing miscarriages in late-term pregnancies? No health inspections. An abortion "free of interference from the state." Tom Ridge is a man. Kermit Gosnell is a man. All these women were impregnated by men, and many of them have been abandoned by men. Again, is this feminism, or what happens to women when men are anti-fatherhood?

So spare me this shit about how wonderful it is when only men make decisions.

Achilles says:
“Men who don't defend society and women who don't have children are selfish and should not be voting until they do.”
You’re explaining a personal moral code, not a workable voting standard. So it really doesn’t have anything to do with the rights of citizens.
But let’s say it’s a genuine proposal. On a practical level, “men who don’t defend society” gives the government enormous power to decide which men are worthy of full citizenship. Is being a politician considered defending society? (Of course it will be) Is refusing to support a particular war disqualifying?
Do you really want the Democrats - or the Republicans you dislike to use your rule to decide how you and future generations of men must “defend society” in order to keep their vote? You’re turning voting into a reward government hands out for compliance.

The thing is, that’s an obvious point. You’re a smart guy so I know it’s obvious to you. I guess it’s a rhetorical device on your part? Just not a very effective one.

Or maybe you think it is effective, who knows?

"The Taliban regained control of Afghanistan five years ago this week, returning to power after two decades and restoring an Islamic government that had severely restricted women’s rights."

What else would you expect from any Muslim nation? As for dress, men as well as women must adhere to traditional costumes, and It is not news that women are subordinate to men.
