As a Freshman, when dinosaurs roamed the Earth, I took required swimming class in that old pile. The uniform of the day was birthday suits, and some guy opened the double doors to let in a cooling zephyr from Lake Mendota.

I thought Ann hated GOT references.

I've mentioned it here before, but I am now absolutely convinced that Mitt Romney's Candy-Crowley-revising-history-moment was possible because of FISA snooping before the 2012 elections.

Romney swept the floor with Obama during the first debate. The dog ate Obama's homework, and he looked unprepared.

The second debate was much different. Obama seemed to be able to deflect every talking point Romney made, and then got an assist from Candy Crowley.

I wonder how many FISA requests were made by Samantha Power in 2012?

Catches the light nicely.

They had good cause to believe that Mitt Romney was affiliated with a sinister desert cult that may or may not have renounced ambitions to carve out an empire in the US West. I'm sure that, coupled with an opposition memo alleging many sister-wives around the world, would meet the FISA court standard for monitoring his campaign.

Spoilers! Didn't Cersei blow up the Red Keep and all of her accusers the day of her appointed trial there? Sounds like an excellent metaphor for Hillary blowing up the Democratic Party.

Actually, Christy, I think it was the Great Sept of Baelor. Took out quite a bit of King's Landing around it, too.

There you go again. Making a mountain out of a Snow Hill. Cabin fever is strong.

Perspective is everything wherein reality is the concern.

Wisconsin is topographically challenged so...

I did see one of your 'ski hills' once. Cute.

George R. R. Martin is never going to finish his story. He keeps adding and adding characters. No chance he finishes.

That would be Deseret cult, if you have a history sensibility....

Given the unfinished status of "A Song of Ice and Fire", I wonder how many picked up on the Superbowl ads that had Peter Dinklage singing (well, rapping (or lip-syncing rap)) while surrounded by fiery images and Morgan Freeman doing the same with icy images. Or was it just Doritos and Dew?

It was. Cersei was in the Red Keep when the sept blew up.

Sad. The Red Keep is a place but The Mountain is a person. And Winter is going, not coming.

I finally looked up what a forknight was... Turns out I was not listening correctly.

It's 'fortnight' and it's two weeks.

A forknight was when a lord threw big dinner and everyone invited got to use a fork ;-)

The show's final season wont air until next year.

Oops. You two are right. I was tickled that Google recognized the correct spelling for my hillbilly pronunciation of Cersei.
