Rubio and his Pop-Tarts.

RFK Jr. and Marco Rubio are getting into the act

But there are also lots of things out there like this:

Pop Tarts: they can't go stale, because they were never fresh.

I loved Pop-Tarts when I was a kid. They ruined them when they started putting frosting on them. ALL of them.

Some MREs used to come with Army Issued Toaster Pastries. DO NOT EAT the Army pop tarts. Bad stuff! Mess you up!

Rubio, the Latin Fabio.

Lil' Marco is full of shit. That is a fucking Cherry Pop Tart! What a dipshit. If you are going to call something "fake news" you should be sure you are not spreading misinformation.

(The cherry poptarts have pink frosting and the strawberry have white frosting.)

Breakfast at Rubio's. Starring Marco and Princess Jeanette.

I love the weirdness of AI videos. In the top one how weirdly the cabinet doors open and close.

BLASPHEMER!

…cherry as favourite is disqualifying Presidential material…

I just looked at the ingredients label for pop tarts. The first is white flour. Numbers 2, 3, and 4 are, essentially sugar. Number 5 is an unhealthy fat. Yikes.

Little Marco may be small but he’s perfectly formed.

Lordy, has any adult ever eaten a Pop Tart who hasn't just spliffed his way into a huge munchies craving?
I couldn't eat that even when I was kid.

This is true, but irrelevant because it's all jokes and kidding and making fun of each other. No one cares.

I miss the unfrosted cherry version, now discontinued.

Those are Toaster Strudels.

i like the chocolaty ones, and the brown sugar ones.
The fruity ones tasted to much like real food

See, the R side can have fun disagreements. Unlike the D side, where it's zero-sum existential doctrinal contests. Who's got the real Big Tent? (besides me, in my pants, of course) CC, JSM

Pop Tarts with a side of sauerkraut then?

I have a fondness for unfrosted blueberry Pop Tarts, but, they can be hard to find.

I just love this shit, and I don't mean pop-tarts.

Marco Rubio is 55-years-old, but in memes he is forever about 12.

For many years, my $1 breakfast was to buy a Pop Tarts two pack at the corner store and eat them both untoasted on the 20. minute walk to work. Unfrosted blueberry and strawberry were my favorites, but I would settle for frosted.

It’s unclear which are healthier/unhealthier, the unfrosted have more fruit filling, less sugar, but the same number of calories. In any case, the Pop Tarts were healthier than my fall breakfast of two pumpkin Dunkin’ Donuts.

I avoided buying the 8 packs because of the temptation of eating the whole box of Pop Tarts at one sitting.

Jerry Seinfeld is dead wrong, you can taste the difference between a fresh Pop Tart and a stale one.

Funny videos.

Just remembered what crap we were fed as kids. Pop tarts, Captain Crunch, Cocoa Puffs. Candy bars for breakfast.

And special treat? Going to Sambos and having pancakes covered in whipped cream, butter, and syrup. Its amazing everyone didn't die of diabetes.

RCOCEAN II said...

And course, Hawaiian punch, Jello, and Hi-C. Giving kids fruit juice was considered healthy back then.

Unfrosted blueberry is great. But my jam is brown sugar cinnamon. It's been decades... (I did just eat a 2-back of frosted strawberry at my brother's house, because his pantry is replete with non-nutritive snacks.)

Tell than to Thomas Massie. Lol. The "R" side has excommunicated everyone that doesn't pass its purity test. (The purity test being things like protecting rich pedophiles.). So yeah, those diehards that remain can sure yuck it up amongst themselves. But the incredible shrinking R party will soon be small enough to fit inside a Pop Tart box.

Oh, but the laughter inside that Pop Tart box. Honestly, the best medicine.

*But the incredible shrinking R party will soon be small enough to fit inside a Pop Tart box.*

If we can continue to pick up people like RFK, Jr, Gabbard and others - while ridding ourselves of spineless little shits like Cornyn, Tillis, Massie and you - the Republican Party will be just fine.

yah as a lid I was a brown sugar cinnamon man but the fruit has grown on me. Just not cherry- blech…

rehajm said...

…that isn’t a cherry pop-tart. They don’t have rainbow sprinkles. That’s some AI creation…

n.n said...

Magic pop tart, magic pop tart, fly Princess Jeanette right over.

Jamie said...

That is definitely the frosted cherry Pop-Tart. As DDD said, pink "frosting,"* rainbow sprinkles.

* In my world, "frosting" is buttercream, not a hard shell.

Anne in Rockwall, TX said...

It takes me about six months to go through a box of pop-tarts. Most every flavor of unfrosted, I sprinkle with confectioners sugar before putting it on the middle rack of the toaster oven. Heaven.

rehajm said...

Strawberry milkshake has sprinkles. Cherry has colored sugar. Y’all are too hyped up on sugar- messin with your judgement…

Achilles said...

Pop tarts are better for you than Orange Juice at least.

mongo said...

I’m sorry to have to contradict Jamie, one of my favorite commentators, and others, but cherry frosted Pop-Tarts have pink frosting, RED sprinkles, and no “waves “ of white frosting. I believe the tart pictured is mixed berry flavor, but it’s definitely NOT cherry.

The two bottom two videos are hilarious!

Man, I hate pop tarts.

Saint Croix said...

That frickin' song is going to be in my head all week.

"Kellog's. Pop tarts."

Saint Croix said...

yah as a lid I was a brown sugar cinnamon man

oooh, I didn't know they had brown sugar cinnamon

when I was a kid, I would sneak into my mom's pantry, open up the brown sugar bag, take a spoon, and eat a spoon of brown sugar, right from the bag

(don't try this white sugar, kids)

Saint Croix said...

don't try this with white sugar, kids
