If you "don't know of a 280 character way of describing whatever this is," there is always the option of saying nothing. I can't copy the tweets of the sayers of nothing, and they can't go viral, but thanks to everyone who's quietly contemplating the situation and hoping for the best.

Just the fact that he apparently thinks it's cute to say "mozz sticks" annoys me. It's not cute and it's not a time for cuteness.
What a stupid way of writing. Even worse is the clownish explaination. Just put "WW3" in quotes. And everyone with an IQ of 100 knows you're not saying its literally WW 3.
Its really distressing how bad Rightwing influencers are at writing twitter posts. Given its their life's work you'd assume they could write more than a sentence. Or write more than that in a clear concise manner. Too often they just "notice things" or do variations on "wow, just wow".
To be technical, I used WW3 for character count & glibness, because we're 3 hours into the strikes & already by my count 5 countries have been bombed (Iran, Israel, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain). It may not be WW3, but I don't know of a 280 character way of describing whatever this is.
It seems to me Iran's response to attack these (5+?) countries is quite possibly the Iranian regime's first and perhaps fatal mistake. There is a difference between a world war and multiple countries in a region at war with one country, Iran.
Did Trump know more about the Iranian response and how the regional powers would line up?

Well, as VDH observed in his recent history, W W Two (as Archie Bunker would say) did start as a series of periodically intensifying border clashes fueled by the declining ability of the European powers to secure themselves and their colonial possessions. So it's not inconceivable that Ukraine (including operations against the Russian shadow fleet), Venezuela/Cuba, Iran, and actions by the Chinese in the South Pacific might merge into a global conflict.

I don't know who Mike Benz is or why his opinion should count for more than anyone else's, but "WTF?! WW3?!" was probably the reaction many people had seeing the news this morning. If one realizes that much of what counts as news and most of what counts as commentary is worthless, wouldn't it be wiser not to dwell on the worthless parts? Same thing with Olbermann, who's only somebody now because Breitbart uses his inane tweets as rage fodder.

JPost reports that, preliminarily but without certainty, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was likely hurt in the Israeli strike on his compound unless he successfully relocated to his bunker.
Iran's Defense Minister Amir Nasirzadeh and Revolutionary Guards commander Mohammed Pakpour are believed to have been killed in Israeli attacks, two sources familiar with Israel's military operations and one regional source said.
Israeli and Iranian sources said earlier on Saturday that strikes on Iran killed several senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commanders and Islamic Regime political officials. Iran International reported that the strikes killed four senior Iranian intelligence commanders: Javad Pourhossein, head of the foreign intelligence unit; Mohammad-Reza Bajestani, head of the security unit; Ali Kheirandish, head of the counterterrorism unit; and Saeed Ehya Hamidi, adviser on the war with Israel.
