"I'm officially offering Joe the chance to redeem himself in front of the entire world.... Let's do another debate this week..."

"... so that Sleepy Joe Biden can prove to everyone all over the world that he has what it takes to be president. But this time it will be man to man — no moderators, no holds barred. Just name the place — anytime, anywhere. And in the debate, Sleepy Joe also declared that he wanted to test his skills and stamina against mine on the golf course. (Can you believe this? Did you ever see him swing? He's like
this.) That's why this evening I am also... officially challenging Crooked Joe to an 18-hole golf match — right here, on Doral's Blue Monster, considered one of the greatest tournament golf courses anywhere in the world one of the Great Courses of the world. It will be among the most watched sporting events in history maybe bigger than the Ryder Cup or even the Masters, and I will even give Joe Biden 10 strokes a side — 10 strokes, that's a lot, that means 20 strokes, in case you don't play golf —I will give him 10 strokes a side, and if he wins, I will give the charity of his choice any charity that he wants $1 million, and I'll bet you he doesn't take the offer, I would bet, because he's all talk, but what that match will do is prove that Joe is in fact all talk and no action...."

That's talk from Donald Trump, at the Doral golf resort in Florida, which he owns.

We will be invited to focus on Trump’s unpresidential behavior and not on Biden’s. I will decline the invitation.

There's one huge reason why Biden would not accept the golf challenge, apart from the obvious ones.

To play golf with/against Trump would normalize him in the view of the audience. It would be as if Biden would agree to meet Trump for dinner somewhere, or anything where Trump would be humanized. That would get Biden thrown off from the Democrat nomination quicker than anything.

Didn’t Biden say during the debate that he’s a better golfer than Trump?

Biden challenged Trump to play and carry his own bag, as if Biden could do that himself. The challenge was just so full of testosterone, it was ridiculous. And Trump was the one who said “Let’s not act like children”. Ha.

The Blue Monster has seen so many renovations by so many different architects. Hanse wrecked what was good about it…

The resort is flawed too. Trump org did what they could with what they had but it probably should have been leveled when they wrecked the golf course…

Trump will make up that million and more by hosting the venue. ABC/Disney should offer a neutral location and front the purse for donation.

What's your point? Don't forget it was Joe's challenge to Trump, not the other way round, just like the debate: "Make my day, Pal." LOL

1. Joe can't even practice walking without a minder, a map and a photo of his destination.
2. You can do fairly well with three clubs if necessary, and no doubt Trump could carry those.
3. Joe would have extreme difficulty even carrying a putter and a ball with him, much less swinging.

Another example of how alike Biden and Trump are. Much of this national nightmare we are experiencing is because of a "pi**ing contest" between two old men. (And it continues because of some younger men - and women - chose to take sides). I agree with the Parkinson doctor from Dayton who is in the news. Why, with the population of the US, have we ended up with these 2 men again???

I am soon to be 69 and the youngest in a large family. We can't get through a family dinner without hearing "what's the word I am looking for?". Forgetting is normal. Covering it up/pretending it doesn't exist is what leads to problems. I had hoped getting more women in leadership roles in politics would make it better, but the name women politicians seem to seek conformity to an even greater degree.

LBOC, do YOU think Biden is capable of walking the first couple holes carrying his own bag?

Coupled with his idiotic comment yesterday, I think LBOC may be the archetype of the kind of moron the FJB campaign is targeting with their shoddy propaganda. It's like the movie 'Centipede' with the LBOCs of this world sewing their mouths to the Democrat's asshole voluntarily.

I think Trump timed this quite well. Questions about Biden’s mental acuity are now well known, even among those who didn’t and don’t watch debates. Attempts to “put a lid” on the issue are gaining a little space, so it’s time to raise the issue again. Too bad for Team Biden that he brought up the golf game, too, because that does have potential to drive attention and excitement during the dog days of summer. I’m pretty sure Biden’s not up to making his way from the clubhouse to the first tee without assistance.

So Trump just challenged Biden to a golf match. The Biden team responded mocking it and claims Biden “doesn’t have time” for these “weird antics.”

But it was actually *Biden* who initially challenged Trump at the debate to play golf with him!

Only the genuinely retarded would challenge Trump to a physical contest weeks after Biden proves he was very old and frail. It won't matter if they give Biden a space age golf bag, he won't be able to tote that thing. Without minders, he might not be able to play a hole of golf.

It's a STUPID bluff, and Trump called it in signature style.

The debate was a fair way to judge the relative mental acuity of the two contestants. A golf match would be a fair way to judge the relative physical stamina of the two contestants. If the people responsible for the current state of affairs suffer no consequences for their actions, there is nothing to stop them from engaging in similar shenanigans in the future except their consciences. And at this point, it has not been demonstrated that they have them.

The way to "end the craziness" is for the penalties for perpetrating such to be painful enough that even an imbecile would know not to engage in it.

It seems like your undying preference for DeSantis is showing. First, I sincerely doubt he even plays golf in the most golf-centric state in the country; as Sundance has pointed out at the Conservative Treehouse, he has been running for president since at least 2018, with the backing and support of globalist donors and the GOPe. Second, it was brain dead Biden who brought up golfing. Trump merely called his bluff, and rightly so. Third, what the fuck is so ”annoying” about Trump doing so? The former NYer in me fully agrees with the way Trump handled this. I’m tired of all you “Peggy Noonan” Republican pearl clutchers. Get on board or go Dem; we don’t care and Trump will win with our enthusiasm and support overcoming the perfidy and fraud of the Dems (with the implicit support of the Swamp RINOs). Cheers!

Wonderful gambit by trump. Look at me, I'm offering to play the guy at Golf and give him 20 strokes. Just me and Good Ol' Joe. It'd be great.

Meanwhile, Biden is trying to put Trump in Jail, and Biden has gotten his DOJ to put numerous former Trump official in jail over contempt of congress and other minor BS acts. Biden's also refused to envoke "Executive Priviliage" for trump's records - which is against all tradition and norms. Not to mention calling Trump a nazi and supporting civil suits against him.

But Trump doesn't hate. Its "Hey you and me play some Golf".

IOW, Biden is a mean vindictive asshole. He wont play Trump in Golf because he'd lose and everyone would see he's a basket case. But this wont stop Biden from shouting how he could beat Trump and "C'mon man, I'm the best".

I like the golf idea. At 81, I could carry for 18. Probably shoot somewhere between 80 and 110, depending on punitive degree of course/rough and mood of my putter.

Biden, I'd bet, would be a TKO on the first hole.

Better yet - challenge Joe to take the needle along with Trump at the debate venue. Trump should offer $5 million to either, Joe's charity OR Joe's campaign if he gives the blood.

Release complete results at end of the debate and let the talkies and scribblers go wild :-)

1. Maybe Biden can find CornPop and get him to caddy for the current president, cause he's "a bad dude".
2. Trump didn't go after anyone in his first term (except for using the bully pulpit against his AG at the time) in actuality. He took the "high road". Look what that got him. He needs to put the people who broke the law, not the fake or manipulated ones that they trying to get him with, in jail after a fair trial. That the bribery in the Hunter/Big Guy Biden and Biden Crime Family cases is so flagrant and plainly visible for anyone to see (or if we had a media that wasn't 90% in bed with liberals and the Dem party in particular), goes unprosecuted, is madness. How many people have died because Biden is paying Ukraine to cover up his receiving bribes and paybacks.
3. I want Biden to stay in the race. IMHO, I think there are many Dem voters who will choose not to make a choice in the presidential race because of Biden. If he is replaced, I believe they will vote for the replacement. Better to have them sit out.
This is the most important presidential election in since I first got the vote and voted (sigh) for John Anderson.
