Never mind. I wouldn't get out of bed in time for the sunrise anyway. Though I do have pix of copper-colored water - Lake Michigan at dawn. Your job is to decide how the legal system will deal with certain persons who insist upon outraging their fellow citizens. And by "outraging", I don't mean, "causing outrage to by publishing their opinions on Twitter". I mean, raping, robbing, assaulting, maiming, murdering. Etc.

Suppose that when these miscreants are dragged in front of you, escorted by officers, you arrange for them to be locked away from society for a good long while. Decades.

It seems like that might clear the whole thing up, in short order. Lock 'em up. Throw away the key. Problem solved.
