Watching a clocked Major League Baseball feels like watching college baseball.

I’m predicting starters are going to be able to go deeper into the game and as a result pitching staffs could be reduced.

I don’t want to sound conspiratorial, but that’s probably how they sold it to the owners.

Watching at home I can pause live action, but if you go to the stadium and you gotta pee, prepare to missed half an inning.

The comments of the Dem state senators on the floor of the Nebraska Unicameral today were some of the most unhinged things I have ever heard. Four cried. Some threatened that kids would commit suicide if the bill passed. Crazy doesn’t quite describe it.

The promise now by the Dems is to filibuster every single bill because they lost today. Even bills they support.

We had several nights down to the 20s early in the week. High 70s today and mid 80s tomorrow. The azaleas are confused, but no frost damage.

And now Wisconsin is the last Big Ten team still competing in a post season basketball tournament (the NIT). They play in the semifinals on Tuesday.

Here’s one example.

“ State Sen. Megan Hunt (D), speaking directly to Republicans, reaffirms vow to filibuster all legislation if #NEleg anti-trans bill passes:

"No one in the world holds a grudge like me. And no one in the world cares less about being petty than me. I don't care. I don't like you."

Spring summer down here. High 70s, mostly sunny.

Go outside and look at the Moon and Venus in the west if you can.

I got on the artists' website just now to remind myself of the program for a concert next Tuesday, and found the info on their tour calendar. March 28, Memphis.

Memphis, FL.

Sheesh. There probably is one--MO and MS have one, so why not?

But I ain't driving that far.

It takes all of my strength to not post something about how much Bruce Springsteen and his eating habits, and in fact everyone else's eating habits, bores me. Thankfully, this is an open thread, so I can digress as I please.

The only thing more tedious than reading about someone else's dietary preferences is hearing about the dream they had last night. Look, my diet and my dreams are interesting. Yours most certainly are not. Ever.

That fallen tree limb has just about made it intact thru the winter. Looks almost the same as
in the Jan 19. pic. I think it's the same. As they never say in Game of Thrones Spring is coming. For me that means pouring the last half of my morning coffee over ice.

The Associated Press has blessed us with an update on my senator, John Fetterman (D-Injured Reserve). Quoting the article:

"After Fetterman checked in to Walter Reed, his office said he had experienced depression off and on throughout his life ..

Now they tell us.

Fetterman had the stroke last May as he was campaigning in a three-way Democratic primary race. The stroke nearly killed him....

His return is expected soon???????

Is Deutsche Bank next?

Red Rover, Red Rover, send Ben on over!

There are still many solvent banks left to entrap, ensnare and dismember!

The WA State Supreme Court has just ruled that a capital gains tax is not an income tax but is an excise tax, and is therefore legal. This tax applies to all gains over $250,000, but soon to apply to lesser amounts as the greedy Democrats will be lowering the threshold to get more money for the ever expanding state government.

My dad used to call Spring snow the "Onion Snow" It was time to plant the onions. Here in Northern PA, it was around the first week of April and usually didn't last but a few hours.
