Googling what I thought was a joke I remember this: Since, traditionally, the defense doesn't get a say, it's pretty easy to get a grand jury to indict someone in most cases. In fact, it's so easy in most cases that a former New York state chief judge, Sol Wachtler, famously remarked that a prosecutor could persuade a grand jury to “indict a ham sandwich.”

And just like that! I think we have another first from the Biden Administration.

Not only did Biden speedily indict a ham sandwich, today Biden convicted a ham sandwich .

If you’re not sure what I’m talking about, let me direct you to a recent Althouse post. about our first ladies politically unfortunate remarks linking bodegas in the Bronx and Chicano tacos.

Bannon turned out to be the ham sandwich Sol Wachtler warned us about.

On Twitter this evening --

A surrogate mother intends to abort because the couple who contracted for the baby don't want him/her. The surrogate has an appointment at a D.C. facility to receive a "fetal demise injection" at 30 weeks, six days, followed by her going home and later delivering a dead baby.

Yes, it is legal at that stage in D.C. no questions asked. And at least two facilities there will do it.

Business Week Tweet: Postmortem sperm retrieval is turning dead men into fathers
In Israel, parents of slain soldiers are pushing for their right to be future grandparents. Critics call it planned orphanhood.

And of course, there's already a meme that could "find a way" to work for that.

The things we learn.

Also popped up on Twitter. Jenna Jameson is in a bad way medically. Not sure what it is.

But apparently this iconic former porn star is quite conservative politically, both economically and socially.

After the surrogate going to get a fetal demise injection, I discovered a website celebrating and promoting crimes against humanity: https://laterabortion.org.

It's all about those abortions right up until birth that the pro-abortionists always insist never happen - that no one would ever get them and no one would ever do them. Except they do.

Clinics that provide abortions at 24 weeks and later. To find a clinic that provides abortion services after 24 weeks of gestational age, you can call the National Abortion Federation Hotline, 1-877-257-0012 (weekdays 9am–8pm EST, Saturday noon–5pm EST). For a list of clinics providing abortion services at and beyond 24 weeks, you can also refer to this sheet.

Biden is claiming that he had no choice but to allow China to bid on and buy oil from our Strategic Reserve, because he was bound by an Administrative Law or something.

Lessee if I got this: Biden claims he has the power to declare a national climate emergency, and a national public health emergency.

But he is completely totes powerless to declare an energy emergency to get around that Administrative Law by allowing only American companies to bid for the oil, and deliver/refine/sell it here.

SNORT

The White House is now nothing but a wretched hive of scum and villany.

Headline: Could Donald Trump face legal consequences as a result of the January 6 hearings? Political experts are torn.

The question is better put this way... Do Democrats want to create a precedent that Republicans could later exploit politically against a Democrat former president?

The answer to that question is absolutely yes! Who cares about precedent, when the prospect of putting Trump in the slammer is finally at hand?

There's got to be some justiciable offence in all these hearings and investigations and swearing under oath and Liz Chenay withing a dead cat's throw from personally handcuffing the former president.

C’mon man! It's not rocket science. We need to come together, get things done.

at a D.C. facility to receive a "fetal demise injection" at 30 weeks

There is mystery in sex and conception? A woman possesses neither dignity nor agency, neither does a nine year-old girl, nor a man, nor a boy, and human life with social progress is reduced to a negotiable commodity. Deja vu.

That said, human rites following the model of witch hunts, warlock trials, and other wicked solutions with common causes in primitive, and, apparently, progressive cultures.

Human rites practiced under the Pro-Choice ethical religion in Progressive institutions... that deny women and men's dignity and agency, and reduce human life to diversity [dogma] (i.e. color) blocs, negotiable commodities for social, redistributive, clinical, political, and fair weather causes. Forward to the past.

Lem - President Biden doesn't have the power to indict anyone much as Mike Pence didn't have the power to throw out legal votes cast by the states on January 6.

If there was a case to be made, Steve Bannon could have testified under oath but refused even though he had no legitimate reason not to talk to the J6 committee. And did you miss the Bannon video where he told us in advance exactly what Trump would do when he lost the election? He certainly didn't want to discuss that incident before the court. And describing his fraudulent theft of a million dollars from the We Build The Wall fund resolved by a Trump pardon would not have been helpful either.

Bannon should have joined the book club.

The academic rot behind the pro Ukrainian, insouciant nuclear brinkmanship foreign policy of our current leadership.

Anybody who supports sending weapons that will kill and maim now living human beings should read it. I understand her shame at supporting the Ukrainian side because I supported the Iraq War.

This rot was also behind impeachment, it’s all encompassing of our politics.

Gadfly: the president takes credit and subsequently blame for whatever political happenings under his watch.

Stop covering up for Biden. I know that might be mean because he’s not all there. But nobody will trigger the constitutional amendment unless he literally goes into a coma or something.

I think you're talking about the first picture and not the clear bird shape but the smaller blurry bird (or insect). Generally, when I see things like that, I retouch it out of the picture. I just didn't think about that one. I like the bigger bird though. I considered that a plus when I selected this as one of the 3 from a set of something like 40.

Jonathan Turley reports that a member of the United States Supreme Court has said (yesterday, I think) that the "legitimacy" of the Supreme Court cannot be found in the United States Constitution.

So where can it be found? Only in public opinion. She opines that the court should rule however the majority in the country deems it should. And not how Justice would demand.

I wonder what you think of that stance, Ann.

Is that dangerous?
