It would have been better if the snowman had his head and orange face.

Then we could discuss his fake tan and the effect orange skin has on people's perceptions of him.

So lets just pretend he still has his head and the orange coloration the sun provides is cool.

Woke Me When It’s Over
In the humorless world of Woke, the satire is never funny and the statute of limitations never expires, even when it comes to hamantaschen.

'In 2015, Bon Appétit ran an article by the food writer Dawn Perry about hamantaschen, the triangular cookies that are a tradition during the Jewish festival of Purim. It was headlined — brace yourself for outrage — “How to Make Actually Good Hamantaschen.”

Six years later, a woman named Abigail Koffler found the article while researching hamantaschen fillings. She was not amused.

Perry, Koffler wrote on Twitter, isn’t Jewish. Perry’s husband, Koffler added, had been forced out of his job at Condé Nast last year based on accusations of racial bias. Above all, Koffler objected, “Traditional foods do not automatically need to be updated, especially by someone who does not come from that tradition.”

Most Jews would probably be grateful for an “actually good” hamantasch. Yet within hours of Koffler’s tweets, Bon Appétit responded with an editor’s note atop the article, now renamed “5 Steps to Really Good Hamantaschen.” It’s a note that defies summary, parody and belief...'

I am a young liberal, and this wing of the democratic party frightens me. The far-right does have a point when they talk about the "radical left-wing cancel culture". Although plenty of what they say is immoral there is a little thing called the FIRST AMENDMENT. It says in short: you can speak your mind freely.

The AOC wing of the party must stop 'cancelling' anybody when they call them something other than their uber-specific identification - especially when the way the identify themselves every few months.

Gina Carano's comments of late were distasteful, but did she deserve to lose her job? No. Her right to free speech is enshrined in the Constitution, just like the rights of the few who can cancel her through the anonymity of social media.

In short- the radical woke left must stop canceling anyone that dares to exercise their right to free speech - regardless of whether it offends them or not. The way they are going right now, they will lose the House and the Senate next year - and deserve it. The white suburban voters that voted blue in 2020 will not hesitate to switch sides in 2022. It is time for the Democratic party to go back to the ideals of free speech it embodies, and reject the woke left's cancel culture.

"wokeism is cancer. It's not just isolated incidents - it's creeping into many aspects of mainstream life. The SF board of education recently voted to rename schools named after Abraham Lincoln and Paul Revere. Public schools have been closed in SF for nearly a year. 85% of SF public school students are children of color. The performative wokeism that's entrenched in every aspect of SF politics hurts low-income families the most. This was also the same board that decided that a gay parent of a mixed-race child wasn't "diverse enough", and scrapped merit-based admissions to one of SF's premier public schools.

'...Wokeism needs to be nipped in the bud, or else it'll end up turning a huge swathe of working-class folks, especially low-income people of color solid Republicans.'

For Wisconsin residents. While I’d like to have gotten my shot by now, I’m glad teachers and child care workers can now get theirs.

Wisconsin teachers will be eligible for the vaccine starting Monday

"This is a group that is essential," Willems Van Dijk said. "We want our kids in school ... and we know teachers work every day with a population that is not able to be vaccinated because of their age.

"The important thing for people to remember is a shot in the arm is another person protected in the state," she added. "We will all get our turn."

Willems Van Dijk also emphasized that people who are 65 or older who have not yet received their vaccine will not be crowded out, noting that the federal allotment of vaccines to Wisconsin has increased from roughly 70,000 doses per week to 115,000 doses per week.

"I understand if you’re in the half of folks 65 and older who have not yet received your vaccine that you may be anxious about whether you’re ever going to get one, and I can assure you you will," Willems Van Dijk said. "There is more vaccine coming."“

Got a call from my primary care physician's office today. Wanted to know if I wanted to come in for my first dreaded covid vaccination shot tomorrow. For reasons- I wasn't subject to the NY rules and could have finished both shots by now as my younger fearful coworkers have. I rather shocked the young lady on the other end when I said I wasn't interested in getting the vaccine- at all. I suspect that because she said back to me in a surprised voice- "You're not?"

Today I talked to a younger acquaintance with an entirely different circle of coworkers and friends. He's observed the same thing I have- for otherwise healthy people, reactions to the second shot are worse than actual dreaded covid symptoms.

Threadreaderapp hasn't had much of interest lately. One thread today caught my eye, with a rather succinct summary of how I feel about requiring proof of vaccination to travel within the United States. https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1364327654900584456.html

It’s not simply about not getting Covid oneself. If you want everything to be open, no mask mandates and social distancing, herd immunity through mass vaccination is the way it’s going to happen. Why cut off your nose to spite your face?

I know of people in their late 70’s who have gotten both vaccines and didn’t regret getting the second dose and said it wasn’t that bad and are grateful to not end up like friends and relatives who didn’t survive Covid.

Vaccine is about 75 percent effective for the first few weeks, but appears to lose effectiveness much quicker than actual immune system anti-bodies.

Side effects are brutal ---- not genocide level brutal, but trillion dollar lawsuit brutal (But Trump and Fauci agreed that the makers would not be civilly liable_.

Anyone under 70 who gets both doses of the main vaccine probably has not read the warnings.

Either the virus is an escaped effect-improved bioweapon or it is a new contestant in world dominance of pain and death. In the first instance, the vaccine will more likely hurt than help. In the second instance, nobody knows ----- it is much harder to figure out things that nature spews out than to figure out the newest generation of bioweapons.

But hey, what do I know?

Gospace said...

Just read another article supposedly from a doctor claiming that of course you can get the same dreaded covid virus again, probably 11-12 months after the first time, because nobody knows how long the immunity lasts. Notice that weasel wording- no one knows how long the immunity lasts. For every other virus in the world, influenza, smallpox, measles, any other, you get it once, that's it. It's over and done with for you, for life. You can't get that particular virus again. But the dreaded covid virus is magically different from all others, it can infect you again and again and again, and will always be a public health threat.

No link because I don't believe in spreading completely false made up misinformation like this. But it's a false soundbite that keeps showing up- getting and recovering from the dreaded covid virus doesn't make you immune- you must always live in fear of it! Which is complete scientific BS. I'm not fearful of it now, and never will be.

I am not scared either ---- if it is a bioweapon, the makers will eventually be caught out, if it is not, the virus will fade out because viruses always fade out, with a few exceptions not applicable here ----- but I am sort of disappointed in the COMPLETE IGNORANCE shown by so many about what we are dealing with here.

“LONDON (AP) — Two U.K. studies released Monday showed that COVID-19 vaccination programs are contributing to a sharp drop in hospitalizations, boosting hopes that the shots will work as well in the real world as they have in carefully controlled studies.

Preliminary results from a study in Scotland found that the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine reduced hospital admissions by up to 85% four weeks after the first dose, while the Oxford-AstraZeneca shot cut admissions by up to 94%. In England, preliminary data from a study of health care workers showed that the Pfizer vaccine reduced the risk of catching COVID-19 by 70% after one dose, a figure that rose to 85% after the second.”

"Just read another article supposedly from a doctor claiming that of course you can get the same dreaded covid virus again, probably 11-12 months after the first time, because nobody knows how long the immunity lasts."

It's a coronavirus so a lot of people will get basically the same virus over and over again throughout their lives. We can project that based on our collective experience with the other coronaviruses.

It's a coronavirus so second and later infections will be experienced as a cold unless this is really a bioweapon that has been modified in some unnatural way.

All of the vaccines that I have looked into have 100% success rates by a certain number of days after the vaccine is given. The number of days varies with the vaccine. But for all of them it's eventually 100% success.

And success means that you don't die or you don't get seriously ill as in needing to be hospitalized. It does not mean you never get the coronavirus. You do get it. You will get it, over and over again if it's like the other coronaviruses.

So I don't know where this idea is coming from that the vaccine loses effectiveness with time. That is not what the clinical trials show.

Of course we can define success down and insist no one ever gets a cold again. And I can just see certain parties doing that.

But in reality people may only need to be vaccinated once. Because that will get you past the first infection and then it's no more danger than any other cold virus.

Mark said...

https://www.biospace.com/article/real-world-study-in-uk-demonstrated-70-percent-drop-in-covid-19-after-1st-pfizer-shot/

“Public Health England (PHE) published real-world analyses of people in the U.K. who had received the first shot of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. The data, which were published in The Lancet, showed that there was a decrease of about 70% in infections among healthcare workers after the first shot.

This is a similar study, in many ways, to what was recently announced by Israel’s Health Minister, which demonstrated that the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine was 98.9% effective at preventing COVID-19 deaths, 99.2% effective in preventing serious disease, decreased morbidity by 95.8% and decreased the likelihood of hospitalization by 98.9%.

Unlike the U.K. study, the Israel study focused on both doses, whereas the Israeli study focused on the data after the first initial dose. The U.K. has extended the gap between the two doses to 12 weeks, although three weeks is the recommended span between the two shots. The goal in the U.K. is to get as many people as possible, especially those at high risk, vaccinated with at least partial immunity.

The PHE data indicated that a single dose decreases the overall risk of being infected by more than 70%, which increased to 85% after the second dose. It also showed that a single dose is 57% effective against symptomatic COVID-19 in people over the age of 80. The effect takes place about three to four weeks after the first dose. And early data hints the second dose in the over-80 age group improves protection against symptomatic disease by another 30%, to more than 85%“

Israeli deaths have gone down slower than deaths in similar countries with exponentially less vaccination.

Why?

My best guess - the vaccine success stories are people who are super careful anyway.
Vaccine has the average success of flu vaccines - 75 percent.

On the other hand, the current vaccines have killed many many people, but that is censored ---- and if the vaccines are killing many, they will likely have worse lingering side effects than vaccines (like the seasonal flu vaccine) that do not kill many.

So basically, all Israel is showing is that (a) vaccines work as well as nature does in countries without the vaccine. Side effects and lingering harm to immune systems and fertility ----NOBODY KNOWS.

I can see vaccinating teachers that are over 50. That seems reasonable.

But I think in most of the country they are, right now, vaccinating people are 65 and over plus a number of additional categories.

And that's unfortunate. Because the priority should be those over 65 plus nursing home workers plus health care workers plus those that clinically are at high risk, which is a medical description that doctors will be implementing that applies to about 2% of the population that is under 65.

And anyone else getting it right now -- they are doing something kind of wrong -- because they are taking it from someone else that needs it more.

Unless the vaccine is about to expire and will go to waste otherwise.

I've had both covid shots. As of tomorrow, it will be two weeks since my second shot, which is when "full immunity" is supposed to be acheived. I have had NO SERIOUS ADVERSE REACTIONS. On the third day after my first shot I had a runny nose and wheepy eyes, like the onset of hay fever (but there's no pollen in NC this season); that lasted from about 10 am to 5 pm. No effect after the second shot.

The only adverse reaction I'm having right now is that I find myself agreeing with "Inga". First time ever. The idea that the vaccine is worse than the disease is absurd, "Stephen Cooper". Maybe you are right that pregnant women should skip the vaccine; I don't know. If it were me or a loved one, I'd seek qualified medical advice. Not from an internet commenter.

But I do blame the "wise" for their confused and mixed messaging. If the vaccine prevents me from getting or transmitting the virus, why should I be required to wear a mask? Why can't I hug my grandchildren? Why are people who've had and recovered from covid told they should still get the vaccine? Maybe there are reasons. Why not tell us, and let us make our own decisions? If the wise fail to do so, they only empower the "Stephen Coopers".

I get my 2nd shot tomorrow. I got my first from a health care worker who had already had her two shots.

Why didn't she tell me she almost died from them? Was she gaslighting? Was she happy to see me die as long as she got a paycheck?

“But I do blame the "wise" for their confused and mixed messaging. If the vaccine prevents me from getting or transmitting the virus, why should I be required to wear a mask? Why can't I hug my grandchildren?”

Because there was a worry that the Covid virus could still colonize in the nasal passages and live virus could be spread even from a successfully vaccinated person who isn’t getting sick from the virus. The thinking is changing on this, ask DavidUW! As they test more and more vaccinated people they are not seeing live virus in their noses so they will not be transmitting the virus. This is GREAT news and I suspect that as more and more of the population get the vaccine the mask mandates and social distancing will be done away with. As for me, when my entire family is vaccinated, we won’t be wearing masks or distancing.

“Why are people who've had and recovered from covid told they should still get the vaccine?”

There are studies that indicate that the immunity they get from having had Covid isn’t as robust as the immunity from the vaccine. I’ve read that they are suggesting that people who have had Covid may only need one shot, not two.

wholelottasplainin ---- there are firehoses worth of numbers. Countries with low vaccinations rates are doing better on deaths than countries with high vaccination rates. Look it up. Compare the raw numbers in Gaza to the raw numbers in Israel. If I am right about what is going on, that is because this is a natural virus that is fading out naturally, after doing about 1 / 20 of the harm the Spanish flu did when my dad was a kid.

If I am wrong, it is because, against all expectations, companies full of midwits like Johnson and Johnson developed, in a few months, a cure/preventative for a disease (with no legal downside for them) when, after decades and decades, they had failed to find a preventative for similar diseases (with legal downsides). Grow up, and don't treat me like I am your research assistant. I never did anything to deserve being spoken to in that insulting way. Godfather,
Add to your list proper risk stratification of adults plus whether youngins should be treated as vectors.
There's a bit too much haphazard generalizing when the disease demands close accounting...especially when considering use of new "vaccines".

If kids---who overwhelmingly don't get sick, let alone die, from covid--can be vectors of transmission, then we would see their parents getting sick and dying as well, masks or no.

WE DON'T SEE THAT. ALL the stats show that 80%+ of deaths come from people over 65. And almost no deaths from people under 50.

That's been known since last summer---I've reported here that in Mass. the government's covid dashboard quietly removed covid death-by-age-group data, so as to HIDE that info.

All the better to frighten the public to death. And to kiss the fat asses (PTUI!) of the teachers' unions who fund politicians.

Popular choice for "burden" reduction (e.g. keep women appointed, available, and taxable), PC (e.g. political congruence) indulgence, and securing progressive prices and availability (e.g. Obamacares). No. YOU made the assertion. YOU provide the data. NO bullshit about other countries, as we all know that the incidence of the disease, alone the deaths/million from vary greatly, despite many different approaches to dealing with it.

YOU SAID that the "reactions to the second shot are worse than actual dreaded covid symptoms", which is bullshit. How can they be worse then being DEAD?

So YOU provide the data for OUR country. Give us stats on people dying after their 2nd shot.

As for covid going away: you are SPECULATING, entirely. If you want to argue that we should sit back and let covid peter out, you are in effect arguing we should risk destroying our economy, immiserate our citizenry, and cause psychological and developmental harm to the next generation, instead of taking active steps to eradicate the disease.

Would you have taken that position with polio, measles, smallpox, whooping cough, and all the other diseases science overcame through development of vaccines?

Protect mom and baby with vaccines

A pregnant woman should get vaccinated against whooping cough and flu during each pregnancy to protect herself and her baby, with immunity for the first few months of life.

Old school: pregnant woman and her baby.

There are limited data about the safety of COVID-19 vaccines for people who are pregnant

Observational data demonstrate that, while the chances for these severe health effects are low, pregnant people with COVID-19 have an increased risk of severe illness, including illness that results in ICU admission, mechanical ventilation, and death compared with non-pregnant women of reproductive age. Additionally, pregnant people with COVID-19 might be at increased risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes, such as preterm birth, compared with pregnant women without COVID-19.

Post-normal, forward-looking school: pregnant people, pregnant women, baby maybe... progressive confusion (PC).

So far- everything I know about side effects from the vaccine shots is anecdotes. From people I know who've received the shots.

Of those: 2 people with heart attacks after the shots. One coworker 4-5 days after it. But he's a walking bundle of bad health. In his mid 50s. My son knows someone, again mid 50s, in good health, died of a heart attack 4 hours after the second shot. Millions of people have received the vaccine. So inevitably some will die randomly of something they would have died of anyway right after receiving the shot. But that's one more person I know of who's died immediately after receiving the dreaded covid vaccine than people I know who've died of the dreaded covid. I don't think any deaths or serious illnesses following the vaccine are being publicized.

People I know who've actually been diagnosed with the dreaded covid? Up to about a dozen. Number in ICU? Zero. Number who spent any time hospitalized? One, my middle child for one night on oxygen. He tested negative for the virus twice, including the one given on hospital admission. His blood donation tested positive for dreaded covid antibodies.

About half the people I know who've received the dreaded covid vaccine both shots, about half have had nothing more than sore arms. The other half? Chills, fevers, body aches, and 2 have taken days off from work. One of whom is the coworker who had a heart attack. Everyone I know who has received the vaccine has been in their 40s and 50s. The chills, fevers, and body aches are covid symptoms themselves. The one symptom the vaccine reaction sufferers didn't have that actual covid infected had was the loss of taste and smell.

What have none of the covid infected had that I know? Any type of treatment or medication offered. It's been known for over a year that budesonide appears to reduce hospitalizations and treatment times. One of the most recent studies "suggests that inhaled budesonide reduced the relative risk of requiring urgent care or hospitalisation by 90% in the 28-day study period." 90% How many of those extra half million dead people would be alive if doctors had aggressively pursued treatment options? The debate over HCQ and it's effectiveness seems mired in politics, not medicine. The studies showing it doesn't work uniformly have been designed to 1. not use it with zinc 2. not use it with azithromycin and 3. administer it after patients are already on their way to the ICU, when proponents say it's most effective when given- 1. when covid is first suspected 2. with zinc 3 with azithromycin. From the very earliest days we have known that worse outcomes are directly correlated with lower Vitamin D blood levels. And we know lower Vitamin D levels are most prevalent in the black population in America, and more common in winter. And- the medical establishment still isn't recommending people be tested or supplements be taken. BTW- the relationship between Vitamin D levels and better/worse outcomes in any URI has been known for decades. And still- nothing.

The 14 year old daughter is now home from school because her parents have Covid is taking care of them.

I know two 77 year olds who have had their shots and did just fine. My daughter who is a healthcare provider in the Navy has had her shots and did fine. My other daughter and son in law have had their Covid shots because as unpaid caregivers to my grandson who has a disability they were allowed to get it. They did just fine.

The one nice thing about living today is that knowledge of just about everything is available to everyone who wants it. I believe most problems of old age are due either to a deficit of some micro-nutrients or an excess (especially iron) of others.

Let's take Vitamin D studies- which I've mentioned.

From 2010 a study that shows low Vitamin D levels are associated with a worse outcome in tuberculosis, arguably one of the most severe URIs you can get.

From 2017 a study showing lower Vitamin D levels associated with worse outcomes in community-acquired pneumonia.

From 2017 an article from The Harvard Gazette titled "Study confirms vitamin D protects against colds and flu".

From 2015 a study that shows that Vitamin D is effective against influenza A but not influenza B or the common cold...

And a WebMD article from 2010 cautiously titles "Vitamin D May Cut Risk of Flu". WebMD is often my go to source for medical information.

These particular articles and studies show a mixture of preexisting Vitamin D levels with supplementation.

Now if you search for Vitamin D and flu, or pneumonia, or covid, or any other URI, you'll also find dozens of studies and dozens if not hundreds of articles claiming Vitamin D is useless, don't take it, it's a scam. Every single study I've looked at (probably over 50 by now) that claims Vitamin is snake oil suffers from the same defect. Vitamin D was administered after disease onset, normally in a one time large dose, in a way normal people don't take or use it. The body can absorb only so much Vitamin D at a time. A mega-dose really isn't going to do much good. It's stored in the body as all fat soluble vitamins are. For it to do you any good- it really needs to already be in the body in sufficient quantities to be used at a moment's notice when the immune system wants to utilize it.

Website of The Vitamin D Society. Website of The Linus Pauling Institute and what they have to say about Vitamin D. Lots of Vitamin D information. The first is, or course, biased for Vitamin D.

Don't know if any of the links will say it- but if you take Vitamin D supplements, take Vitamin K supplements. If your body is using D, it's using up K with it. I take a supplement with 3 types of K, (amenaquinone-7, K2), (menaquinone-4, K2), (phytonadione, K1).

stephen cooper said...

That's a good choice for a Vitamin K supplement. Oh- a quick bit of medical advice- if you are taking any kind of blood thinner- like coumadin- consult with your doctor before taking any supplement with K.

I have found that of I link to websites selling things- my comments are often detected as spam and never get published. Without a direct link to the sites

For K I go to Vitacost and order Ultra Vitamin K includes Advanced K2 Complex. For E I use their Vitamin E & Tocotrienol Complex.

For a good multivitamin I order from Amazon (so you can use the Althouse link) NATURELO One Daily Multivitamin for Men - with Vitamins & Minerals + Organic Whole Foods - Supplement to Boost Energy, General Health - Non-GMO. That's a new replacement for the multi I was taking that was inexplicably discontinued. One of my wants in any supplement is that it be available in capsule form. And I don't want more than 100% of the MDR for any metal. Metals are necessary for the body, too much of any metal is problematical.

If you're under 60 and healthy- less harmful. Under 21- definitely so. Over 75? And unhealthy? Worse than most flu varieties. By quite a bit. If you look at the actual people under age 50 who've died you'll note comorbidities for them out the yin-yang.

That's been one of the biggest differences between the dreaded covid and most garden variety flus. The dreaded covid seems to target the sick and the elderly for death at a much higher rate, while leaving the healthy and young relatively unscathed. Again- information we're known since the Diamond Princess. Deadly flu varieties, like the Spanish flu, knock off a lot of otherwise healthy people who get it.

The Federalist turned to more money by switching from conservative to Trumpist in 2015. Then the pro-Trump lies began to appear. According to WIKI, "during the COVID-19 pandemic, The Federalist published many pieces that contained false information or pseudoscience that was contrary to the recommendations of public health experts and authorities. While ballots were being counted in the 2020 United States presidential election, The Federalist made false claims that there had been large-scale election fraud."

I first noticed the problem when I read Molly Hemingway's story twisting the truths written by Ryan Lizza in Esquire about Devin Nunes parents moving their farm to Iowa to take advantage of cheap Mexican farm labor - a story telling of strange behavior by the senior Nunes family.

If Covid is so contagious and deadly to old people, how is it that we don't have a monumental death among our elite? Who is the most influential person that has died of Covid? Pelosi? Bernie? Biden? Who among our Hollywood elite has died? Streisand? DeNiro? Springsteen? My challenge to you is to name the most powerful person to die from Covid. Go!

After you are done scratching your head, fuck you for being so stupid.

Canadian pastor tossed in the pokey for exceeding the 15% attendance rule.

Royal *cough* Canadian Mounted (who was on foot) Police spokesman: "To be very clear, the RCMP's objective is not to interrupt church services, prohibit services, nor deny peoples' right to practice their religion—merely to ensure that public health restrictions are adhered to while doing so."

Read that again.

If we are swapping anecdotes for facts here are a couple of mine:

A good sized number of people I know have had the vaccine, both does, and report no symptoms or discomfort of any significance.

No one I know has tested positive for Covid in the past 6 months.

Covid hospitalizations were never high locally and have declined ery dramatically over the past 8 weeks.

Personally I am not the least bit concerned about getting the virus. May have already had it as far as I onow.

Stunning appearance by Naomi Wolf on Tucker last night. "Did he say Naomi Wolf on Tucker?" Yes I did. Just go watch. She's woke, but not how you might think. Mea culpa, she says.

Go. Watch. Six minutes.

My parents in So Ca are still waiting to get their vaccine and they are 75+.

But, la county opened it up to teachers that are not going back to the classroom. Plus marijuana dispensary workers have priority.

It’s smart for Florida to vaccinate those at highest risk first,

Interesting the blowback their Governor is getting for that decision.

I’m so tired of the political hit jobs main stream media is doing.

Security officials testified Tuesday that they believe the Capitol riot on Jan. 6 was a "coordinated attack" as they were pressed by senators over the circumstances leading to the security failure. Former U.S. Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund, former Senate Sergeant at Arms Michael Stenger and former House Sergeant at Arms Paul Irving, as well as Metropolitan Police Department acting chief Robert Contee, appeared before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on Tuesday, in the first Senate hearing to examine the "security failures" that lead to the breach of the U.S. Capitol last month. Committee Chairman Gary Peters, D-Mich., questioned the officials over whether they felt there was coordination with regard to the attack. "These people came specifically with equipment. You’re bringing climbing gear to a demonstration, explosives, chemical spray—you’re coming prepared," Sund testified. "The fact that the group attacked our West Front 20 minutes before the event at the Ellipse ended—they were planning on our agency not being at full strength at that time." Posted@urgentagenda.com

I wonder why the Propaganda media missed this???
"Michael Waller, a senior analyst for strategy at the Center for Security Policy specializing in propaganda, political warfare, psychological warfare, and subversion, said he was at the Capitol on January 6 and witnessed:

Plainclothes militants. Militant, aggressive men in Donald Trump and MAGA gear at a front police line at the base of the temporary presidential inaugural platform;
Agents-provocateurs. Scattered groups of men exhorting the marchers to gather closely and tightly toward the center of the outside of the Capitol building and prevent them from leaving;
Fake Trump protesters. A few young men wearing Trump or MAGA hats backwards and who did not fit in with the rest of the crowd in terms of their actions and demeanor, whom I presumed to be Antifa or other leftist agitators; and
Disciplined, uniformed column of attackers. A column of organized, disciplined men, wearing similar but not identical camouflage uniforms and black gear, some with helmets and GoPro cameras or wearing subdued Punisher skull patches.
Well known Antifa-Insurgence leader John Earl Sullivan was arrested in Utah after the US Capitol riots."

He keeps writing about SARS-CoV-2, which indicates that he is worried about catching the virus. As for us dummies, we're immune - thank you very much!

Nope, you are wrong! Fauci says no grandkids, no eating in restaurants, no theaters for you. (he ignores questions as to when we can live or life.

Oh, that "article" about Nunes? There might be a short paragraph of facts hidden in several thousand words of innuendo, inference, mind reading, and conclusions he admits lack even rudimentary facts. His parents bought ground and established a dairy operation in Iowa. When I saw where it was located I immediately knew they were providing milk to Blue Bunny ice cream. Some big scoop. A dairy guy in California, got out of the hell of California, and moved someplace where the govt didn't treat them like criminals.

What are you waiting for?

Technicals say this is a sell signal. Valuations say it is one of the bigger sell signals of the decade. The last two decades. Ah, tell the truth -- the last century.

And the fundamentals say.... LOL, what do the fundamentals say? The greatest of all worlds ever, forever. Money for nothing, courtesy of the U.S. Treasury. What can beat free money?

So, what did the Dow hit? DJIA 31889. Up 300-something today.

Could be a few more points left.
They could push prices higher all afternoon. But this is uuuge.
