Justice Scalia expresses astonishment at "the hubris reflected in today’s judicial Putsch." A "Putsch" is "An attempt to overthrow a government, esp. by violent means; an insurrection or coup d'état." That's the OED. "Hubris" is "o’erweening pride; and pride, we know, goeth before a fall." That's Scalia himself.
I think Scalia capitalized "Putsch" because he intended to write it as a German word and it's capitalized in German. But it's an English word, with, as noted above, an entry in the OED. The New Yorker has it capitalized in the headline and the word does not appear in the body of the article, so I don't know if The New Yorker would go with the Scaliaesque capitalization. As for meaning, "putsch" is correctly used. A synonym for "insurrection" is what the headline writer intended.
Whether the participants indeed had insurrection in their mind is another matter, to be examined in articles like this, interviewing particular individuals like Pickles about what they thought they were doing and what they were able to gather about what other people had in mind.
Pickles seems confused and disturbed by the craziness and the out-of-control escalation: "It happened in the moment. There was just so much momentum. We felt compelled to storm the Capitol. There’s nothing rational about it when you’re caught up in something like that."
Remember when Trump — asked to tell the Proud Boys to "stand down" — said "Proud Boys, stand back and stand by"?
ADDED: Here's a Wikipedia article, "Punk Ideologies." Nihilism is on the list along with anarchism, animal rights and veganism, apoliticism, Christianity, conservatism, feminism, Hare Krishna, Islam, liberalism, libertarianism, neo-Nazism, situationism, socialism, and "straight edge."

So I guess this means that the old leftist avant garde has now become plain old garde.
They are escalating this so quickly. It doesn't make sense.
Say hello to West China.
This article wouldn't have been written if his name weren't Pickles.
It’s not hard to imagine a scenario in which overwhelming police presence had forestalled any attempt to breach their lines or the Capitol. What then: would the cries to remove Trump by hook or by crook be the same, since his words and actions would have been the same?
Would there have been think pieces from pundits claiming to be surprised that there wasn’t an attempt to breach the Capitol?
Putsch implies a plan. There was no plan. It was a protest that turned into a riot. It's happened over and over again this year. This just the first time it happened on the right.
But the Prog machine always accuses their opponents of whatever they themselves are doing.
Interesting that "Putsch" is said to be English. I had always figured it to be German. As in "Beer Hall Putsch."
I am looking in my Shorter OED and there is no entry. We get "putrid," "putridity," "putrilage," and then..."putt."
Maybe the word was just invented by Mayer, like the rest of her "journalism."
Bobby Pickles sounds like a mobster.
Remember when Trump — asked to tell the Proud Boys to "stand down" — said "Proud Boys, stand back and stand by"?
Yes, and people seem to think that Trump's response was ominous. Yet Trump was asked, during the debates, to tell rioters to stand down. Trump asked for specifics, was given the name of one organization, and Trump did what he was asked. Trump asked if Biden would do the same and Biden obfuscated.
If what Trump said, as some suggest, was a "wink-and-a-nod"; then what to make of Pelosi calling the JCS and asking the military to stand back and stand by?
So yeah, "putsch" is Swiss-German. https://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/putsch
The obvious connotation is HITLER TRYING TO SEIZE POWER. Thanks, Jane Mayer, for your elegant and subtle shading of our experience as we perch on your shoulder while you interview this bozo. Proud Boys? More like Lost Boys.
There is a vitality in the culture, and it will thrive despite the clumsy attempts to stamp it out. But it's going to be ugly for a while. But I agree, that the genuinely subversive and vital counterculture has been "on the right" for a while now, although I think the term "right" or even "alt-right" is problematic. But at least people more or less know to which group you're referring, the Trumpist deplorable types and their various and vital subcultures. The destruction being wrought by the ham-fisted, lead-footed big tech companies is going to be very creative, but I doubt the suddenly ascendant are going to like their creation much. Maybe we'll see a revival in gothic literature, or maybe all that zombie crap of the last decade was that revival. I don't know, I have to find some cool kids and ask them about it.
"Putsch implies a plan. There was no plan."
That's your hypothesis.
I await investigations. You have no way to know the extent to which subdivisions of the crowd were acting according to a plan. You're just expressing bias if you say flatly "There was no plan." Please step back and become aware of what you know and what you don't know. Don't make assertions of fact when you don't know. Reframe your statements to be accurate and say something like: Journalists should not imply that there was a plan unless they have evidence of a plan.
Also, remember, "putsch" is just in the headline. The text of the article is about one person's perceptions, and that guy did not have a plan and he didn't know what other people thought.
And: a plan can develop on the scene, in real time.
"Interesting that "Putsch" is said to be English. I had always figured it to be German. As in "Beer Hall Putsch.""
The etymology is German. It has reached the point — according to the OED — where it is an English word. When are we using a foreign word and when does the word cross over and become part of our language? My answer is, when the OED says so.
Listen to Biden carefully: "We're told that Gobels and the 'Great Lie'...."
It was my impression that celebrities on the Hollywood Squares were supposed to "Bluff" their answers, not lie.
Though Hollywood Squares was a legitimate game show, the game largely acted as the background for the show's comedy in the form of joke answers (commonly called "zingers" by the production staff), often given by the stars prior to their real answer. The show's writers usually supplied the jokes.
In addition, the stars were given the questions' subjects and bluff (plausible, but incorrect) answers prior to the show. The show was scripted in this sense, but the gameplay was not. In any case, as original host Peter Marshall explained at the beginning of the Secret Square game, the celebrities were briefed prior to the show to help them with bluff answers, but they're hearing the actual questions for the first time as they are asked on air.
If what Trump said, as some suggest, was a "wink-and-a-nod"; then what to make of Pelosi calling the JCS and asking the military to stand back and stand by?
I make it Sedition by a Commie Hag.
All riots are not putsches (putschen?). I don't think all riots count as an insurrection, either. A riot, in isolation, certainly doesn't rise to the level of a coup, or a revolution.
::takes a long pull on his cigar::
Sometimes, a riot is just a riot.
"The obvious connotation is HITLER TRYING TO SEIZE POWER. Thanks, Jane Mayer, for your elegant and subtle shading of our experience as we perch on your shoulder while you interview this bozo. Proud Boys? More like Lost Boys."
Mayer probably didn't write the headline and she didn't use the word in the article.
I certainly agree that most people who know the word "putsch" connect it to the Beer Hall Putsch:
"Hitler wanted to seize a critical moment for successful popular agitation and support. He decided to take matters into his own hands. Hitler, along with a large detachment of SA, marched on the Bürgerbräukeller, where Kahr was making a speech in front of 3,000 people. In the evening, 603 SA surrounded the beer hall and a machine gun was set up in the auditorium. Hitler, surrounded by his associates Hermann Göring, Alfred Rosenberg, Rudolf Hess, Ernst Hanfstaengl, Ulrich Graf, Johann Aigner, Adolf Lenk, Max Amann, Max Erwin von Scheubner-Richter, Wilhelm Adam, Robert Wagner and others (some 20 in all), advanced through the crowded auditorium. Unable to be heard above the crowd, Hitler fired a shot into the ceiling and jumped on a chair yelling: "The national revolution has broken out! The hall is surrounded by six hundred men. Nobody is allowed to leave." He went on to state that the Bavarian government was deposed and declared the formation of a new government with Ludendorff."
Hitler went to war with his neighbors and rounded up the Jews for wholesale Slaughter..
wow - just like Trump.
The Southern Poverty Law Center is a f'ing joke.
They became nothing but a Liberal Democrat mouthpiece years ago that has nothing to do with law, justice or any kind of unbiased investigating of "hate" groups.
Anyone who gives them any kind of credence is not to be taken seriously on any level.
A putsch or Putsch in a libertarian direction would be one I'd welcome. Don't see it happening, however.
The left want to silence free speech and act as open criminals and money whores - while they punish all Americans who refuse to go along.
I wonder how long it will take for Biden to pull us into war?
Ludendorff, the Flynn of the Weimer Republic. Things got serious when Hindenburg was making decisions.
"I wonder how long it will take for Biden to pull us into war?"
I think with-in the first year and a half. I believe it will be confusing-the typical conservative will be anti-war but still love and support the troops, and the typical liberal will be in favor of the war but still call the troops jack-booted thugs.
Reportedly, FBI using the enormous electronic record of Wednesday and before to piece out the plan.
As if Mayer's Putsch talk, given the video of Capitol Police allowing protester in, won't engender talk of The Reichstag Fire.
The Reichstag fire was an arson attack on the Reichstag building, home of the German parliament in Berlin, on Monday 27 February 1933, precisely four weeks after Adolf Hitler was sworn in as Chancellor of Germany. Hitler's government ...attributed the fire to communist agitators. ... The day after the fire, the Reichstag Fire Decree was passed. The Nazi Party used the fire as a pretext to claim that communists were plotting against the German government, which made the fire pivotal in the establishment of Nazi Germany.
After the decree was issued, the government instituted mass arrests of communists, including all of the Communist Party's parliamentary delegates. With their bitter rival communists gone and their seats empty, the Nazi Party went from having a plurality to a majority, thus enabling Hitler to consolidate his power.
The responsibility for the Reichstag fire remains a topic of debate and research. The Nazis accused the Comintern of the act. However, some historians believe, based on archive evidence, that the arson had been planned and ordered by the Nazis as a false flag operation.
While I have no doubt some of the thousands who were there are ready for violence, there is no evidence at this point to suggest any actual planning. It's still unclear how much violence there even was. Right now, it looks like a large protest in which circumstances led to a small number of people crossing the line and breaking laws.
The title and excerpts suggest that everything about this story was fabricated by the writer out of nothing.

Interesting which FBI investigation are, and are not, leaked.
This unpersoning campaign against Trump has convinced me:
1. The Chinese deliberately released the virus.
2. Trump’s allegations of election fraud are true.
putsch in the NYer, Biden calls Hawly and Cruz our Goebbels, and the media are all in on "Trump incited an insurrection," "Trump told his supporters to storm the capital," "Trump Supporters are domestic terrorists."
I don't know, this whole propaganda push, with the pedal to the metal, seems like battle-space prep, which suggests that the battle is still being anticipated.
Maybe they were hoping the Capital would actually burn, and are using that script even though the event turned out to be relatively contained violence-wise?
You have no way to know the extent to which subdivisions of the crowd were acting according to a plan
It just seems so preposterous that anyone, who thought about it for a minute, could conclude busting into the Capitol would somehow result in them being in control of the government. And I haven't seen any evidence of anything that could be remotely considered organization or teamwork or goal oriented behavior by the rioters after they entered. It all seems very impulsive. A crazy idea is not a plan.
But you are right, Professor. I don't know what was in their minds.
Paul Johnson, in "Modern Times," characterized the Bolshevik takeover in Russia as a "putsch" -- one that was highly organized and focused.
I don't know, this whole propaganda push, with the pedal to the metal, seems like battle-space prep, which suggests that the battle is still being anticipated.
A censorship and unpersoning campaign is an admission that the allegations Trump has made are true.
Every time in the past 5 years that the media have gone nuts claiming that Trump has finally said and done something so crazy and disreputable that he must be destroyed, we find out six months later that he was just telling the literal truth.
Shocking the small numbers involved.
.... in Petrograd.
Trump says something new and contradictory every day.
Might do better to ask people who were there and didn't enter the capitol, just as to be representative. They probably cleaned up after themselves too.
Except maybe when hiding out alone(?) in Camp David

She must have led an interesting life.
The unpersoning/deplatforming is way bigger than Trump, and coordinated across platforms: Lin Wood and Powell, Flynn all booted from Twitter along with Trump, election fraud videos banned from Youtube with punishment for sharing them, Parler axed from Android store and soon to be from Apple. 24/7 incitement re domestic terorrism on CNN/MSNBC and even most FNC shows. That's an incomplete list, but whoa, my head is spinning.
Putsch comes from German dialect. Sources say it's from the Swiss German for “a sudden blow, push, thrust, shock,” but Swiss and South German dialects overlap.
It's similar with the French/English word "coup" and the Spanish equivalent "golpe" all words that mean a blow or a stroke, especially a sudden one, that have come to be used to mean overthrowing or taking over a government.
Putsch does imply a plan (perhaps because we associate it so closely with Hitler and 1923). While the rioters had their own plans, it's not clear that what happened was part of a plan by Trump or those in his administration to overturn the election certification. A minute's thought indicates the unlikeliness of such a plan and the impossibility of it achieving anything.
But for the major media, words are weapons and every word is employed with a purpose. Right not, it even looks like a single purpose: getting rid of Trump and making sure he doesn't come back.

"Time for you to leave."

Not necessarily. I would contend that it is all of a piece with the Democrat/progressive seizure -- "putsch," if you will -- of state power. Like the Bolsheviks in the immediate aftermath of their putsch in Petrograd, they are compiling lists and acting forcefully in the early stages of their takeover to eliminate opposition before it can organize against them. The
It is the first phase in the implementation of a program of "revolutionary terror."

Coincidence? I don't think so!

Who or what compelled them?
The notion that they must “fight” Stop the Steal? “Trial by combat”.
Some people took poor notes in their high school revolutionary theory class.
Owen, even if it is it's a beaut.
Quoting from Paul Johnson's "Modern Times":
"But even at this stage some of the key moves in the consolidation of power were not reflected in public decree-laws. In the initial stages of his take-over, Lenin depended entirely on the armed bands Trotsky had organized through the Petrograd Soviet. They were composed partly of politically motivated young thugs, the 'men in
black leather jerkins', partly of deserters, often Cossacks. An eye witness described the scene in the rooms of the Smolny Institute, from which the Bolsheviks initially operated: 'The Bureau was packed tight with Caucasian greatcoats, fur caps, felt cloaks, galloons, daggers, glossy black moustaches, astounded, prawn-like eyes,
and the smell of horses. This was the élite, the cream headed by "native" officers, in all perhaps five hundred men. Cap in hand they confessed their loyalty to the Revolution.'
"These men were effective in overawing the crumbling republic. But for the enforcement of the new order, something both more sophisticated and more ruthless was required. Lenin needed a political police. Believing, as he did, that violence was an essential element in the Revolution, Lenin never quailed before the need to employ terror."
Inga, definitely the last. Adjoining cells!
Nazi analogies are a sign that one doesn't have a serious argument, but since they're all over the place this week (a sign that nobody has any serious arguments?) there were plenty in government who played the role of the generals in the Weimar Republic, looking to subvert the administration they ostensibly served and the constitutional authorities they had sworn to support: Kelly, Comey, Brennan. When you can get dozens of ex-CIA officials to dismiss the Hunter Biden laptop as Russian disinformation, it's an indication that there has been a government within the government that manipulates information and events to gain its own ends.
The German High Command has a lot to answer for.

“But if you seriously believe your country’s getting taken over by fraud, you’re going to get nuts.”
Who promoted the idea that the election was stolen. Who promoted the Stop the Steal rally on Jan.6th?
“Trump’s statements leading up to and during the storming of the Capitol building, however, did not include explicit calls for a violent attack on America’s democratic institutions. Instead, those laying blame on Trump are pointing in part to rhetoric that agitated his followers with conspiratorial lies and instilled a sense of imminent doom—while relying on them to make the final decision to act. This is a version of the “stochastic terrorism” tactics common to authoritarian leaders around the world.
In recent weeks, Trump heavily promoted the rally that led directly to the assault on the Capitol. The rally was part of the “Stop the Steal” movement, which, fueled by Trump’s own conspiratorial fantasies, explicitly aimed to halt the certification of Joe Biden’s election victory. On Dec. 19, Trump promised a “big protest in D.C. on January 6th. Be there, will be wild!” Trump promoted the rally again on Dec. 27, Dec. 30, and Jan. 1, in tweets compiled by the New York Times.”

Hey Inga, besides Trump's pre-debunked claims of conspiracy, Dr. Peter Navarro has put out some interesting information comprising strong evidence, in two volumes, mostly circumstantial but with direction towards turning up the hard evidence in favor of the hypothesis of widespread fraud that could have been dispositive in the election. And Jovan Pulitzer has made some informed allegations, as have various numerate stats-minded folks who are struggling with the improbability of the outcome. Mostly they're pencil-necks and don't have orange hair or powerful speaking voices or platforms. And while there's been much sprinkling of debunking dust, there's been very little refuting or correcting of some of the central claims.
Have any of you read through Navarro's report, or this brief primer from a few years ago from the BBC on what a rigged election looks like? Have you noted how many of the enumerated list of characteristics of a rigged election as defined in that BBC article or Navarros report happened on or around November 3? As far as I know, nobody has sprinkled debunking dust on that BBC report, or the countless other NGO authored analyses of rigged elections.
Inga. Have you ever even read the constitution? Those rights embodied in the first ten amendments? Ever read those? Those rights belong to EVERYBODY. Not just you and your friends.
Concerning the demonstration in DC. You and your friends drew up the blue print is it any wonder the people you despise use it too. I'll rephrase an earlier statement. This is what you wanted. You wanted to marginalize half the population. Riot, loot and assault citizens. Openly steal votes. And expect to intimidate the people you've admitted you hate?
Guess what. The other side gets a vote too. How ya like me now?

But it won’t matter by that time. We’ll have a permanent 54-50 Minimum commie majority in the senate. If you were confident in your beliefs you could actually justify what you are saying and what the government is doing. You could justify lying about Trump's speech. You could justify calling this an "insurrection."
But deep down in your heart you know you are a scummy piece of shit and you are a tool of liars and tyrants.
That's what I'm saying, Achilles. The Left keeps overreacting and overplaying their hand. Just like you people.
Its a delta house stunt that got out of hand, tens of billions of damages, hundreds of cops maimed or injured....
From where I sit, both of these things cannot be true. It's like saying the summer riots would have been a bunch of fun bonfires if the local small businesses weren't right in way.
Howard is dead-set against Nazis!Big Government? Planned economies? Collectivism? Statism? Identity politics? These things are anathema to Howard!
Everything Achilles accuses others of is just his unconscious mind doing a confessional purge.
Try and get a better nights sleep and it will be all better.
Ocasio-Cortez, youth protesters storm Pelosi office to push for climate plan

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who left before the arrests began, said she was there to support the protesters and encourage Pelosi to listen to them.
How many cops did they kill? Generally speaking when there are dead bodies things are considered more serious. I'm fine with that "double-standard."

Scott Adams devoted the last 15 minutes of his podcast to pleading with Twitter to not permanently ban him and threatening people who he believes are trying to seize his financial assets. Rather frightening.
His last tweet will read: I didn't kill myself.

Lets deal with one fact at a time Howard.
How was the 9 months of BLM riots any different than Krystalnacht other than being more destructive and lasting much longer and replacing "white" with "jew".
Show your work.
Exactly

Please note.....Howard has FAR more stupid than any kind of cogent argument that might be outlined here.
Don't encourage him. It just makes his keyboard sticky,
ST,
?
Sounded more like a dare/warning than pleading.
“ I'm trying to be polite, Althouse, but, really, who the Hell do you think is going to provide a fair and impartial investigation?”
You misread me. I said “I await investigations” — with an “s.” There may be the equivalent of the Warren Commission, but even that kind of thing doesn’t end the inquiry. This is a big historical event that will be investigated forever, by government officials and by historians and by all sorts of people, including conspiracy buffs.
The idea that I’m trusting some official process is unsupported by anything that you know about me, so your instinct that you were risking rudeness was accurate.

Ashli Babbit was unarmed.
You want to play that game her blood is on your hands.
She got shot in the back.

While I was highly critical of the President's remarks, he never actually called for violence or a riot. Indeed, he expressly told his followers “to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.” Such marches are common in both federal and state capitols.
because the green new deal, is the great reset, in part, if at first you don't succeed...
challenging any prog heresy, 57 genders, systemic racism, agw, the 1619 project, is to challenge all of it,
re Adams, he said "I am the last person you should fuck with"
Seriously?
Rasmussen: Trump's Approval Rating Rises After DC Protests

why are you surprise, because the wurlitzer says kneel, making it into the worst thing since the kobe feeding, I wouldn't have done it, trespassing isn't my thing, however, isn't peaceable assembly, which is where the matter lies, the key to a robust public life,
that there are a whole lot of scalded dogs and cats, that have run away from provable fraud against our nation, doesn't surprise, we've seen the tucson backstep, when an anarchist nutbag was freed to shoot eight people, by a corrupt sheriff, and they blamed the tea party,
I don’t know if I would vote for Trump in 2024, but I want him to maintain his viability and leverage as a candidate.
He must hold out to the bitter end of his term.
FullMoon's link
Newsmax will be probably removed from the internet soon.
Rasmussen will be completely ignored by any main media platform.
the murmurings of the hive mind, who think they will not be swept up in the purge, santayana has a wry laugh, they have made crystal clear who they regard as a threat, christians & orthodox, veterans, small businessmen, and who they don't, black bloc and other revolutionary stripes,
"This is a big historical event that will be investigated forever, by government officials and by historians and by all sorts of people, including conspiracy buffs."
It's going to be awfully hard to organize, investigate, and communicate findings when you're banned from the public square.

It won't matter who you vote for in 2024. The greatest President in modern times got 12 million more votes than he did the first time, yet lost to a senile old man that didn't even campaign by 8 million.
C'mon, man.
I can never remember how to spell "embarrassing." (Not sure if I got it right this time. Not gonna waste time looking it up.)
Anyway, that's how I feel if there's the slightest possibility that you believe there's a real "Pickles" or that "Pickles" is a composite or legit journo deceit.
This is likely not real.
I like to watch video and listen to live person accounts following events like this. Now because of media blackouts we are left with only the narrative legacy media is opting to push.Sorry, but I am a little suss that the person the NYer found to interview is proud of the force used to gain entry.
Hey wait just a minute here Capitol Police were right on top of that whasisname Seth sumthin.
I seen it on Clearly Not News!
Achilles- you are intimidating no one. You talk tough, lie about your military service and think you can scare folks into believing the absurdity that BLM=Kristallnacht, that the Biden Administration is going to conduct some kind of mass political repression campaign or that there's some great swath of fake ass patriots like yourself who are going to do something about it. There's not. You won't. Stop talking like a tough guy on the Internet and get off your ass and get a job.
I'll carry Meade's endorsement with as much pride as I do my recent banning from Powerline.
Also, may I point out that while we are still waiting for an investigation that will uncover the true story of the Reichtag fire, the one conducted at the time by the Nazis proved most useful to the Nazis.
And I expect the same from any investigations that will be conducted in this case.
What is the etymology of "tedious"? Is it now an English word?
Is it really, really, really all that hard to own up to a mistake?

Wild Chicken, are things moving too fast for you? Try to keep up. A good way to make a chicken move fast is to butcher it.
Has the cop who shot and killed the unarmed Ashli Babbitt been publicly identified yet? Or doesn't it matter because she is now deemed to be a non-person?
Are other protesters also going to face the death penalty for being present in the Capitol? Will their executions also be captured on video and shown to the public?
"Much like his fanboys ascribe all sorts of godly patriotism to him."
Which part of "godly patriotism" do you hate the most, because hatred of one or both is the only reason I can fathom for putting the two words together as an insult.
Holy crap! Louie Anderson is a trans-woman now?!
Street Bum: “Hey, Buddy! Can you help me out with a sandwich?”
Louie Anderson: “Sure... where is it?”
Howard's got a friend! How nice. How much did that cost him?
Not crazy?
“It has been an epiphany for the world to see that there are people in our country led by this president, for the moment, who have chosen their whiteness over democracy,” Pelosi said.
Howard said..."Hey hey my my rock and roll will never die (Neil Young)"
Fuck Neil Young, Howard. Send him back to Canada.
One, two, three
Turn it up
Big wheels keep on turnin'
Carry me home to see my kin
Singin' songs about the south-land
I miss Alabamy once again and I think it's a sin, yes
Well I heard Mister Young sing about her
Well I heard ol' Neil put her down
Well I hope Neil Young will remember
A southern man don't need him around anyhow
Sweet home Alabama
Where the skies are so blue
Sweet home Alabama
Lord I'm comin' home to you.......
"I certainly agree that most people who know the word "putsch" connect it to the Beer Hall Putsch"
Until this week, I don't think I'd ever heard the word used in any context other than the Beer Hall Putsch. So I'd assume anyone who uses it in any other context has gone Godwin.
Although it's always seemed peculiar that this word seems reserved for just that one particular event. Was the Beer Hall Putsch really such a unique event, and, had Hitler not come to power and become "Hitler," would anyone other than historians specializing in 1920s German history have even heard of it?
'I’ve taken basket weaving and read about the Black prison experience,' he said, with a snicker.
Was it really a "snicker"? Not a "smirk"? Is she sure it wasn't a "smile"? Or maybe a "grin"? I've come to hate "expressive" writing and all the little ways of forcing one's own attitudes on readers. But if doing away with insinuating, innuendo-laden writing means one can't call Kamala's cackles for what they are, I suppose we'll just have to put up with such "colorful" language.
Ann- "I await investigations."
OMG. Would that be the 'investigations' into the attempted coup in 2016? Is that what you're awaiting? Durham is gonna release a report? Bill Barr is on top of it?
Hon, we're past that now.
