Yes, it is. You can see him have some trouble with the dentures as he does now, but he holds up very well, thinks before he answers, and keeps his thoughts crisp and straight. What a difference four years can make.
If Biden won the presidency with running mate Amy K, then there is a significant possibility that we could eventually have a President Klobacher- a squishy, blathering intellectual non-entity whose biggest legislative achievement was regulating detergent pods and now says we need to recognize a 3rd gender at the federal level. If we faced a serious crises, AK could become the Kathleen Blanco of presidents. I don't think that would be boring.

The ultimate irony would be Harris, Klobuchar and Warren upset because all were promised and none received the VP slot.

Part of Joe Biden's problem is that, having been at this for SO LONG, having never had a real job, on the campaign trail and in giving speeches, he's operating on auto-pilot. He doesn't really think before he speaks. And what comes out is a mish-mash of things.
That would be bad enough, but add in some cognitive decline, and this is what you get.

Biden really did flub the couple of sentences; that’s true.* But the notion that Biden was so confused that he didn’t even understand what he was saying is s malignant misrepresentation. Every person who retweets it, starting with the Trump Team, needs to be shamed whether they apologize/retract or not.
*I think the shamelessness, and the level of hatred in this campaign is such that the Trumpists don’t much care about getting caught on this edit, and they are completely satisfied to try to broadcast Biden’s flub just for what it was, regardless of the editing deception.

I wonder how much actual course work she did? How many class sessions she attended? I expect that the normal rules would not apply to the senior Senator of the state who has some influence on the pursestrings.
It would be interesting to see her dissertation but a very quick search did not turn it up.

I don't think I've ever seen a dissertation for an Ed.D. that I thought was worth the paper it was written on. It's generally a weaker-than-weak faux "doctorate" that waters down the title "Dr." And, by the way, while I work in academia, the only people I've ever known to insist on being called "Dr" are holders of the Ed.D.

At one time I thought it would be cool to be "Doctor" Henry. Since I already have a masters in Education, I looked into an EdD thinking it would be as academically easy as the MS. Most schools seem to require about 2/3 to 3/4 of the coursework for a PhD. Dissertation requirements seemed kind of loosey-goosey with a various ways of meeting the requirements without actually doing much work.
In the event, my daughter and I both decided to go for a real PhD in Engineering Management through an online school, Walden University. We both got accepted into the program. Her company would pay for it and it was at least tax deductible for me.
At about the same time she got sent to France for a year and thought she would have trouble finding time to do the coursework. Since I also found that they actually expected us to do real work, Including a real dissertation, I dropped out too.
I would still like to have a PhD or even an EdD or anything that makes me a "doctor". I'm not willing to work very hard to get one, though. All I want is the title to put on my business card.
My MSBE is an extremely useless degree in terms of knowledge. Since one of the things I do is develop training programs and present workshops, my clients like it and it is probably worth an extra couple hundred dollars a day when I do training.

The DNC has already modified debate rules to accommodate Biden's handicaps but even that won't be enough, though the dems will certainly try by having a DNC stacked audience asking DNC-arranged questions and allowing Slow Joe to rest comfortably while seated.

The video was labeled by Twitter as "manipulated media." That was all that changed. Some WAPO hack put it in a story.
But the video was clearly not edited.
There are multiple versions of the video and Biden is just as ridiculous in every one of them. There are many originals that are full length and obviously unedited.
You both know you are pushing a lie.

I stumbled on a clip of Biden being interviewed on CNN in 2016. It is a 9-1/2 minute video, but I recommend dipping into any part of it for even 15 seconds. The contrast between Biden then and Biden now is stark. Yes, I'm going to go with stark.
Wow. That is indeed an eye-opener. He sounds measured and cogent, and he doesn't lose his temper when challenged.
Almost as striking is the behavior of the CNN interviewer. She actually seems to be asking some tough questions and forcing him to clarify his positions on things... despite the fact that he's a Democrat. Weird!
