Epstein dead!

ADDED: Is it really suicide? NYT:
Jeffrey Epstein Commits Suicide at Manhattan Jail

Mr. Epstein, the financier indicted on sex trafficking charges last month, hung himself and his body was found this morning.
AND: This happens as new information hits: "Jeffrey Epstein Accuser Names Powerful Men in Alleged Sex Ring/In newly unsealed documents, Virginia Giuffre claims that Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell trafficked her to politicians, princes, and a high-flying financier, among others" (Daily Beast):
Virginia Giuffre, who says that Epstein and Maxwell trafficked her to powerful people for erotic massages and sex, claimed in depositions in 2016 that Maxwell directed her to have sex with former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, Britain’s Prince Andrew (whom she has accused before), wealthy financier Glenn Dubin, former senator George Mitchell, now-deceased MIT scientist Marvin Minsky, and modeling agent Jean-Luc Brunel, as well as “another prince,” a "foreign president," a well-known prime minsiter" and the owner of a “large hotel chain” in France.
ALSO: Back on July 24th, there was news of a suicide attempt by Epstein. I was dubious at the time. With a recent suicide attempt — by hanging, too — how was he kept in a way that would allow him to kill himself by hanging? He was so important as a person with knowledge of possible crimes by many other people — such important people — the government had an especially strong obligation to keep him alive.

PLUS: Who will believe this was truly suicide? The conspiracy theories will go on forever. This is like Jack Ruby shooting Lee Harvey Oswald. Even if Epstein directly sought and achieved his own death, the authorities apparently KNEW that he wanted to kill himself and therefore they caused the death by not stopping it. They were on notice and they let him do it. I infer they wanted him dead and got what they wanted, whether he killed himself or not.

MORE:

AND: I'm checking out the hashtags on Twitter, and what I'm seeing is the political weaponization of the Epstein death. Some people are jumping to blame the Clintons, and anything that seems like conspiracy thinking is already triggering observations that you're a nutcase.

Victoria Secret girls were quite clean and attractive in a catty way in 1991, but then by late 1992 or so (when I decided I should try ordering a catalogue), weren't, by and large (disappointing). A very sudden drop off. I'm thinking now that probably this has to do with Epstein having in 1991 gotten a powerful power of attorney giving him the ability to do most anything in Wexner's name.

That Epstein had an interest in Victoria's Secret suggest to me he is into girls being cruel. But catty girls, tending to love sexual purity in the antisodomy sense don't by nature like men who try to give them "lessons in giving blowjobs" (a common name for instances of oral sodomy). I wouldn't be at all surprised if Epstein tried to force girls to be cruel just to give others the impression that catty girls around him liked being cruel to others while intimate him. He may have tried to force girls to get or manufacture dirt on the rich and powerful even if it involved forcing them to lie or be vicious to an extent beyond his own self-interest, just to create an image he may have wanted (that girls liked being cruel when intimate with him). In other words, he may have been something of a zombifier like (say) Charles Manson, only instead of forcing girls to kill, he may have forced them to make slanderous stuff up or collect salacious material even if it were more in his non-sexual self interest to be blind. I think William is right that maybe Epstein was "blackmailing top men"--more probably than has come out.

Wexner, who controlled Victoria's Secret after 1982, apparently was from Dayton, Ohio, which has been in the news lately. Makes me wonder whether somehow Epstein's life began to intersect with the low-life (typically lower class) scum who use zombification for killing rather than blackmail.

The other was a caller, a woman, who said she didn't pay attention to party, She just voted for the best candidate. Hugh asked her who the vice president was, (Cheney) She didn't know.

Just yesterday, Michael Isikoff did a must-hear interview with substitute host Dave Davies on the NPR program, “Fresh Air.” Isikoff has a new podcast, “Conspiracyland,” about the laughable insanity of the alt-right (and significantly the Russians) in generating the grand myth that Seth Rich was murdered for his involvement in DNC/Clinton communications. Just like Vince Foster.

Listened to Chicago Progressive radio. Thought they would be blaming Trump by now but they were strangely cautious. Their only real comment was that all Americans were united (united at last!) in rejecting the idea that Epstein committed suicide. Then they gave a little lecture on how it was a glory of the American system that the accused receive a presumption of innocence and we should remember this, when we think about the people (Democrats) named in Epstein's indictment. Then came another little lecture on how powerful people should not be allowed to get away with pedophilia even if a case collapses due to the death of the only named defendant. Then came a lecture on maintaining Democratic unity in order to defeat Trump. It became my opinion as I listened that Hillary is (at last!) finished.

On an unrelated topic and naming no names, the country is united on who was the nameless Whoever behind this death and Whoever-it-was is not going to be the Democratic Presidential candidate. For one thing, people are probably afraid to be near Whoever-got-this-done. Although Whoever-it-was would represent the Dems quite well. But, no.

And again I say, (no connection), Hillary is done.

I would say yes, he did. Arrest by definition is an arrest of some of your rights, at least temporarily to assure that you participate in the process of the judicial system. You are not free to associate, communicate, fornicate, etc. at will, and since you are most specifically not free to escape this arrest, and since suicide is a form of escaping the judicial process, then logically you are not free to commit suicide, and I agree with that even though I support a free man's right to suicide, but a man under arrest is not currently free.

- Epstein probably dead in the NYC federal facility
- Epstein either tried to kill himself earlier, or there was an attempt on his life several weeks ago
- regardless of who tried to kill him, it had to look like a suicide attempt, so he was put on suicide watch
- He was removed from suicide watch either several hours or several days before his death
- He was still supposed to be individually monitored every 15 minutes. Hadn’t apparently happened that night at all (possibly from the time he supposedly, maybe, was removed from suicide watch at midnight that night)
- Cameras went offline that night too.
- Several weeks ago, his attorney, when arguing for bail, told the court that he was a dead man walking if he didn’t get bail. He didn’t.

In short, it stinks.

Trump is the leading suspect in Epstein's murder.

LOL. No he is not. He's already been cleared of Epstein 3 times. First, by kicking him off the hotel property when he found out Epstein was sexually harassing the female staff, and two more times by Epstein's girls themselves.

Please go spam-pimp your stupid no comment blog somewhere else.

His death was overdetermined. He wanted it, very powerful people wanted it, he had money and ways of paying people off and the people who wanted him dead, the same.

One thing the Trump administration has done is show how the people who actually run our government abuse any faith we put into it.
