"You know, I've been told to go back to where I came from"/"What? Indiana?"

Overheard at Meadhouse.

My son more or less buys the progressive critiques of Trump, so he was on yesterday about the congress critters, Trump saying why don't they go back where they came from. How can I possibly rationalize etc. I tried to say Trump is an equal opportunity offender, he offends lots of people, what he said doesn't refer to race, none of his remarks to my knowledge have been racist, etc. So I don't think it's true he would say nasty things of women of colour, whereas he wouldn't say such things about white males.

I went looking for some examples, and said: I guess Trump stopped short of saying Ted Cruz should go back to Canada. I think it's funny, my son doesn't see the humour.

Elizabeth Warren is from the Trail of Tears. Did you not pay attention?

Every newspaper is referring to Netroots as liberals. They're radical leftists, or hard leftists, or alt-left. Teet for tat. The editors should go back to the place where they pretend to be journalists.

Netroots = Nutroots.

I am sure Trump was referring to Omar (Somalia), but he may have Tlaib (Detroit), AOC (The Bronx) and Pressley (Chicago) in mind as well. All of those places could use help, but I don't think these folks could provide it.

Pressley attended Francis Parker School, which is right outside my house. I am looking at it while I type this. Tuition and fees range from $31,250 per year for kindergarten to $38,700 per year for grade 12. She must have been on financial aid, but you can imagine how she suffered.

When you are looking for authenticity, nothing says phony like AOC, Pressley, Tlaib, and Omar. These gals sport a uniquely irritating blend of self assurance and ignorance. They have a great future in politics.

Just a year ago they were failed actresses with an econ degree or refugees who married their brother and today they are trading punches with the Pres-O-Dent!

But don't be happy for them... they got SO MANY death threats for being singled out as women of color... they did not ask for this!

If I could only go back to rural Illinois and marry my childhood sweetheart, Janie, I’d do it without hesitation.

Wife and I are moving across the border into Indiana within the year. Leaving Cook County, fed up with Illinois high and ever-rising taxes, soaring cost of living, Democrat mis-governance and corruption, fiscal death spiral, public sector pension scam, etc. etc. We're going to be Hoosiers, and looking forward to it.

I got cousins from Indiana. Talk about your voice matching your color. They were so white we had to use the dye pack that came with the oleo just to see them.

Most of my fellow Oregonians think, 'Go back to California', but are too polite to say it aloud. But the Californians do indeed know that we are thinking it-- I can more often than not see the apprehension in the face when the words 'I moved from California...' are spoken.

Brother, you just described me. I am certifiably (via DNA tests) one of the whitest people you're likely to meet: Celtic, German, Danish/Scandinavian ... plus 4 percent Neanderthal. Is that white? I claim it is. Wife is approximately the same. Anyway, re Indiana, looks like we'll fit right in. Hoosier-land, here we come.

Well, I just got off the phone with our financial advisor, receiving our quarterly portfolio report. As of today our total net worth is up 12 percent ... and climbing.

Nectar of the gods, that Kool-Aid.

James Lileks coined a term that pointedly describes Cookie the Commie and his comrades: Miserabilism.

The more miserable and bitchy you are, the more lofty your intellect and ideals.

Cookie is a charter Miserabilist.

Pressley attended Francis Parker School, which is right outside my house.

My first apartment was on Belden and Commonwealth. It overlooked what was the football field.

This was 5 years after I attended Parker on a scholarship, The school was always "limousine liberal" but has gone full SJW. I get emails from them all the time. They have a special event for Alumni of Color.

I will not be going to my 50th reunion.
