Kavanaugh was a “bland eater,” his roommate explained, who never ate his pasta with anything more exotic than tomato sauce or ketchup on top. At visits to Yorkside Pizza following late nights at Toad’s Place — the friends did not go often, Christmas said, as Kavanaugh had “limited dance moves” — the judge’s pizza had to be plain cheese, or sometimes just pepperoni.A limited diet has been a mark of distinction for admired Justices: "John Stevens... was usually seen eating a plain cheese sandwich with the crusts cut off... Justice David Souter [ate] plain yogurt and the occasional apple."
But limited dance moves?! That's not good enough. Check this out:

"Limited dances moves?" I hope that gives us a lot of hope - that when he opines about the Constitution that he keeps in his foremind that the whole purpose of the thing was to LIMIT the created government, see Fed. 51 et alia, not expand its control over the people.
I thought everyone knew that White men can't dance. (or jump) It's not racist to state this either. Apparently.
This Brett guy also likes baseball. Probably also loves his mother. The ABA will rate him not qualified.
Resist!
A lot was made of Nixon eating cottage cheese with ketchup. That's why he had to resign.
Bland or pedestrian food is the latest anti-white slur. Recall the hatred for Trump's limited food choices. Also, read any big media article on the wonders of massive third world immigration and see how frequently the argument comes down to being enthralled with all the exciting new dining options.
I eat pasta with salsa.
how frequently the argument [for unrestricted illegal immigration..my summary] comes down to being enthralled with all the exciting new dining options.
Except us pasty white deplorables are not allowed to eat any of it as it would be 'cultural appropriation' or something.
Some thoughts:
+ are any of his food choices culturally appropriated?
+ ketchup on pasta, good lord!
+ to what level of doneness is his pasta cooked?
+ if he eats bread is it anything but white?
+ does he even know what artisanal food is?
+ not being a dancer, can he successfully deploy the white man's overbite when listening to music?
+ does he drink through a straw?

Real Italians (in Italy) eat Pasta Asciutta. Nothing to be ashamed of.
Team Kavanaugh should admit he eats bland food, but brag that he "eats pussy like a champ".
That should garner the 'women vote'.

Bland food. Bland neighborhoods. (I.e., neighborhoods where noise, property upkeep, and littering ordinances are enforced.) "Limited dance moves".
The subtleties of such "dog whistles" soon to be crowded out by the more straightforward varieties of "die whitey die" rhetoric.
Lefties need a "Crazy 'til I Die" tattoo on their foreheads.
"Admired Justices" and the examples are Stevens and Souter??!!!
A good friend of mine in Grad School would only eat Vanilla Ice Cream. I still shake my head at that. So many flavors, and he limited himself to Vanilla.
The thought of ketchup on pasta disgusts me - I believe that it is a redneck dish.
I still support him but would rather have had Thapar or Barrett.
Wish I could quote it, but there was a rapper who bragged about his limited dance moves on the floor, a step back and forth with a little arm action.
This is what alpha males do, unlike the women who dance to attract the men.
What I mean is, Kavanagh was gangsta before gangsta.
Sophisticated leftists do not approve of Judge Kavanaugh because he is not like them.
This is a call to cultural leftists who know nothing of the process or the issues. This nominee is unqualified because he is unsophisticated.
Is there a special place in hell for college acquaintances who act like they have some special insight into a person they haven't talked to in 30 years?

If you're talking about something like this, well...it looks good!

Not that I usually go for vanilla ice cream--when I eat ice cream--but if you take a little time to savor the flavor, vanilla ice cream is really delightful and subtle. I'd rather have that than chocolate ice cream, which always seems too heavy.

I'm a vanilla connoisseur. Yet, when you can't have quality...
Behold: The Hoodsie
Can't decide between chocolate and vanilla? With Hoodsie Cups -- a favorite New England ice cream treat -- you don't have to choose....
Since my memory of eating Hoodsies is so firmly coupled with the wooden spoon I thought there would be a stash of them in the bottom of the bag, but there wasn’t so I made do with a regular spoon, which didn’t feel right. Perhaps the wooden spoons are relegated to the convenience store ice cream freezer or ice cream truck?
There's an old Boston-area expression (not a creation of advertising, by the way) in response to someone who feels he didn't get what he deserves...
"What'a ya want: A Hoodsie?"
And here's my theory on why ice cream always tastes better with the wooden spoon. A metal spoon gets so cold it numbs the tastebuds and you can't taste the ice cream as well.
A wood or plastic spoon is less conductive and doesn't numb the tongue.

Two Bland white guy lawyers - one's a good guy, one's a psychopath.

Depends on the ice cream. I don't like most commercial ice cream - way too sweet. (Among major brands Haagen-Dasz isn't bad. Ben&Jerry's, any flavor, I find inedibly cloying.) But when I was young a friend with a farm and her own cows would serve us fresh ice cream made with the cream from that morning's milking, vanilla beans (and maybe a dash of cognac, for festive occasions). Sublime. Add her fresh-picked strawberries...celestial. Spoiled me for life.
Vanilla ice cream is the best base for sundaes. Somehow the vanilla tastes more vanilla-y when it's combined with a bit of hot fudge or caramel and nuts. I had a friend who liked sundaes made with Rocky Road or Blue Moon ice cream and there was just too much going on there. Like Cook, I am not a fan of chocolate ice cream - it tastes like fake chocolate to me.
Ketchup with noodles sounds disgusting. So does ketchup with steak, but then I don't like ketchup at all. I'd rather eat my fries plain than with ketchup.
Let me insert a plug here for Tillamook Ice Cream, a West Coast treat. The vanilla is divine, but my doctor thinks I like it too well.
Pasta in this case probably means macaroni. Lots of folks put ketchup on macaroni and cheese. I’m sure Democrats are eager to question him about this. Upping the arsenal of The Resistance to-

My wife eats both with ketchup. Despite this, she is a really good cook. Judging by my waistline, too good ( not her fault I shove it in).

Indeed it does! Thanks for the link. I have had this before and had forgotten. Simple and delicious.
So the point of the thread is what? Simple, bland food eating Supreme Court judges will render bland rulings? I suppose that would better than judges who eat spicy meatballs.
What part of milk cream sugar vanilla (or whatever other flavor/s) don't people understand? Or whatever flavor, though indeed vanilla is the finest of the flavors and people do not respect it's exoticism, but these guar gums and carrageenans are anathema. Some evil conspiracy ruined Breyers by the addition of tara gum. The first time I tasted the new formula I thought my spoon had soap on it. Sob! Now Turkey Hill Black Label stands alone.
I think palate cosmopolitanism is regarded to correspond with maturity. IE, only kids don't like or try new and different things. Also, ISTM that it is unmanly to be over-nice about one's food-CSLewis I bel8eve had a nice piece on the ramifications of gluttony.
However, chacun a son gout. I myself would not care to live anywhere I could not get dim sum.
Even worse, Kavanaugh thinks Fusion is a car!
Bad Looey & Tcrosse -- if you can, try one of the three(!) flavors of vanilla ice cream offered by Tillamook. Incredibly rich tasting. Tillamook ice cream disappeared from Safeways in Hawaii about six months ago, now it has resurfaced at Foodland supermarkets. Probably easier to get in the Pac Northwest than anywhere else.
Toad's place ... between 1987 and 1990. Hmmm I guess the Poodles Boys, Saucers etc. were long gone by then. but maybe he saw Bob Dylan or Sonic Youth.
Eating pussy would molto puttanesca
I'd laugh more if SNL had the RBG character fall asleep in mid comedy bit.
Tillamook. I'll look for it.
Tillamook Vanilla Chocolate Chip is my fave. YMMV.
"Lots of folks put ketchup on macaroni and cheese."
What?!! I have never seen or even heard of such an abomination!
(Though, who knows? It could be good.)
Tillamook Ice Cream, a West Coast treat
Upvote for Tillamook!! Also Umpqua ice cream. Both carried in our local grocery store.
Current favorite. Tillamook Vanilla salted caramel peanut ice cream. A delicious blend of creamy sweet, salty sweet caramel swirls (lots of it) and crunchy peanuts. Second fave Maple Nut. Umpqua or Tillamook. It is a toss up.
As long as he only has one scoop of ice cream.
I assume everyone has seen the #BrettKavanaughScandals hashtag by now, but since no one mentions it above here is a link (via Carrie Severino of National Review).
My favorite: [Brett Kavanaugh] has secret plans to weaponize the Oxford Comma.
