ed said...: Frankly I prefer coffee made in a 6 cup stainless steel mokka pot. But I tend to make it very very dense with a rather enormous amount of coffee flavor. And 6 espresso cups of that is enough for anybody.

Otherwise a coffee press is pretty good even if most people have almost zero knowledge of how to make coffee in one.; 3/25/13, 3:27 PM

To me the charm of coffee, (besides the caffeine and flavor and smell) is the cozy ritual of sitting together with your sweetie in the morning and sipping on cups of coffee. It is the most relaxing part of the day when you are alone, before the phone starts ringing and you can discuss what your future day is going to be like. Companionable and cozy.

Making one cup for him. Then one for me. Then one for him while I'm standing trying to drink mine before it goes cold. Then one for me and so on.

OR...I make one for me...sit down and drink mine while he is making his...get up and make my next cup while he is drinking his. It sounds like a coffee treadmill.

You're misreading that. "First State National Monument in Delaware" doesn't mean that this is the first of many state national monuments.

Delaware is "The First State," like New York is "The Empire State."
