ricpic said...: Is it an advance or a retreat or neither that photography, in the right hands of course, can now do at the push of a button what once recquired the most excruciating tenacity and control on the part of a painter? And even then only a very few could pull it off. Pisarro's views through a screen of trees come to mind. Corot's similar blurred views.
