Things to do on a rainy night in Wisconsin.

Compare the fans in L.A. Last night was the first home game, and the Dodgers, down 0-2, needed a win:

Just waited in a rainy line for WS tickets. Games 1 and 2 are completely sold out. They are selling tickets for Games 6 and 7, but what's the point?

To be fair, most people in L.A. are not from there, a big portion aren't even from the U.S., and there are a lot more other things to do in L.A.in October, or any time. Getting to the stadium and back home is a day-long expedition across a sea of humanity and is expensive.

The Brewers are selling World Series tickets already? That's some bad karma right there.

Back when I lived in Milwaukee, I paid that much for a ticket to an actual game. I guess it's been a while...

The league gets a $1 "service fee"? Why?

Two years ago Jake Bauers was going to quit baseball after batting .199.

But then his wife got pregnant and they needed health insurance.

Story in today's WSJ.

Most seats at Dodger Stadium are $$. Lots of Hollywood Industry douchebags go to be seen.

They aren’t even baseball fans.

SeatGeek can you get you in to tonight's game for $76, which isn't half bad for playoff baseball in LA. (The good seats cost hundreds of dollars, rho...)

Demand has driven the price so high, no one goes there anymore. CC, JSM

"Getting to the stadium and back home is a day-long expedition across a sea of humanity and is expensive." Plus it was a 3PM local time first pitch.

It's their product.

I did not have "Althouse becomes a big fan of major league baseball" on my bingo card.

Good for you and your Brewers, Althouse!

""This telecast is copyrighted by the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball. Any rebroadcast, reproduction, or other use of the pictures and accounts of this game without the express written consent of Major League Baseball is prohibited."

Sure, I just think "service" is a misnomer.

It would be nice if the Dodgers could 3-peat, but Shohei is hurt and the Dodgers roster is old and no one else has stepped up. The Brewers squad is a lot younger, continuing their momentum from the regular season.

Yeah, it's tough getting in and out of Dodger Stadium. $75 parking is a dis-incentive! We'll see if the Dodgers step up tonight, make it a little bit of a series. But then again, the Brewers look great!

The I-94 construction next to the stadium is so well-timed!

What I</B< would like to do tonight is walk the dog, but the rain makes my dog stop at the door. Here's hoping. Oh, here comes a break! Hurrah!

Why can't I delete that. Sorry about the bold typo. Here is me getting rid of it?

. Nope.

Ah Mission Accomplished. Carry on.
