It's the taking offense path, not a good sign. Vance is too young to know better. Trump knows that a zinger is called for.

Suppose for the sake of argument that Vance's grandfather didn't approve of interracial marriages. The guy is dead and if he did feel that way when he was alive he didn't manage to pass that view on to JD, so what is Abdul's point?

ha, funny. But Vance didn't 'lob an insult', did he? What has Vance done in the past 1+ years to distinguish himself? What inroads has he made. Better yet: What would you call his signature accomplishment, the achievement that indelibly bears his thumbprint? Not ragging on Vance, but - Trump is going to cast a long shadow on 2028. Vance has to show capability, so far he's just been a photo op from my vantage point. But I look forward to the evidence-to-the-contrary being presented, honestly.

Since when is a Euro-Indian marriage interracial? I was taught that Indians, especially the high castes, are Caucasian. In fact, descended from literal Aryans. Even the Jim Crow South treated the few Indians that ventured there as white.
