The self delusion of the left never ceases to amaze. Of course they think they are the good guys, no matter how awful their behavior—their fantasy of the left will always be better than their fantasy of the right.
It’s just plain historical fact that Kirk had begun to criticize Israeli actions in Gaza, even as he said that he “still believes in prophecy.” It’s a fact that the person who replaced him is all in on the Gaza genocide. And it’s a fact that Israel uses assassination proudly, at a level not seen since The Cult of the Assassins, who gave the practice its name. And it’s also true that the former head of anti terrorism in the Trump Administration resigned his post in protest, and claims that he was not allowed to investigate the Kirk killing.
I’m not complaining because in this saga, the guilty will be held to account. Tyler Robinson may one day be released from prison but not for a long time. Candace Owen’s is only taking money from fools and she’ll be sued to oblivion. I feel a little sorry for Erika Kirk for losing her husband and now be treated to this, but she seems like a survivor. Meanwhile, as seems the theme of the day, progressives are hitching their wagons to the ugliest of bandwagons and it shows.

For a high profile case like this, you have to pick a lead agency - in this case, the county prosecutor- and put a short leash on everyone else. The self-righteous SPAD was connected to a member of Kirk's staff, that had reached out the SPAD just moments after the murder seeking assistance. Instead of assisting, the SPAD used the request to make a name for himself, which was why he was fired. His job was to pass along the information to investigators and instead he used it for propaganda. If the evidence against Tyler Robinson wasn't so solid, then this SPAD's action would have severely hurt the cause of justice. That's not who anyone should want in government.

I suspect that the more evidence of the murderer’s guilt (and, at this point, could there possibly be more?), the more vociferously some will proclaim his innocence. Why, the very existence of that much evidence against him proves that he was set up!, they will say.

I have nothing to be sorry about, but I do feel sad for any spouse that loses their beloved and she did in a horrific way. To suffer that loss followed by such betrayal and outrageous accusations is evil. I offer no quarter for that evil. I don’t respect it, and show my disrespect by laughing at it as an absurd clown show.

NYT's is trying to change the story from "Violent Leftist kills Conservative who spoke out" to "Crazy Rightwingers battle over Kirk's death".
Is its a rightwing assassin then its all about the violence on the rightwing and need to investigate and control these violent rightwingers. If its a leftwing assassin, then there's some other issue that will be highlighted. No desire to investigate or examine if the left has created a "culture of violence".
Candance is going after Erika Kirk as part of her attack on Turning Point USA and Ben Shapiro. And spreading rumors of Israeli involvement for the same reason.

I think it was a different trap.
Online influencers are measured very explicitly by subscriptions and likes and interaction with their audience. They look at a very descriptive set of metrics on their channels and they hire a lot of people to analyze which videos do the best and get the most click throughs.
The people who are terminally online tend towards believing in conspiracy. Candace became the most popular and highest earning social media personality in the country and started down a certain road.
It is certain that her videos attacking the jooooooos were the videos that generated the most interaction and revenue for her.
There may be 50 posters here that have a pretty even keel about things. But there are 2 posters that hate the joooooos and would be the most likely to subscribe and donate to someone who validated their feelings because everyone else makes fun of them.
The fastest way to the top on the internet is to give the joooooo haters validation and a place to send money.

The judge is afflicted with Lance Ito-itus and the taxpayers are inexplicably funding defense attorneys who are using every opportunity to delay and impede the inevitable. Most preliminary hearings last less than an hour but this one took a week. I’m still unsure why there are weeks or months between each excruciating step.
The country has a stupidity epidemic. It's spread electronically.
There is no reason for the Israelis to kill Charlie Kirk and no evidence they have done so.
So why the conspiracy theories?
Simple, the Israelis are Gangsters and war criminals who use assassiation as a matter of Governmental policy. Its not hard to imagine them killing Charlie Kirk - if- Netenyahu wanted him dead. Thanks Mike, I haven't been following the trial. The judiciary system in the USA is so bizzare. We know this guy did it. All the evidence points to him. The assassination was caught on tape and with 1000 eye-witnesses. Its murder one. But for some reason we have to slog through never ending legalese to get to a verdict.

And we all know what the internet is like. Very online people fall into similar types that aren't restricted to one side of the political spectrum or the other. It's the same with officially licensed commentators. Social media is the great equalizer. Everybody is a fool at one point or another. Both sides go too far sometimes. He went off on the supposed "genocide" in Gaza by Israel after October 7th. He had a crazy number; something like 200,000 killed by Israel. He did mention, however, that 1,200 people were killed by Hamas or whoever the Palestinian terrorists were.
My thought was that if 200,000 Palestinians were killed, that's a good thing. What were they expecting after that brutal attack? If they weren't so stupid, they had to expect a massive retaliation by the IDF.
The only way for these Muslim idiots to learn is that they must suffer a complete and massive defeat. Deplete their numbers. Maybe then they will give up and live in peace. But I'm not optimistic. Lots of inbreeding and very low IQ numbers in that lowlife population. And, of course, the people in charge have an irrational hatred of Jews and Christians.

It's taken this long because the defense is stalling using every tactic they can. "The prosecutor had a sister in the crowd, one of 2000! We have to recuse him!" That took two months of fighting. Then they had to fight over DNA evidence on the bullets. And lots of fighting over the defense trying to clam up and keep the media out of everything so conspiracy theories could have a field day. THat's why it's taken so long.
