"Any sport where the man is wearing panties is not a sport."

Said Riley Gaines's father, when college recruiters were interested in Riley both for both swimming and for softball.

Quoted in "Riley Gaines: If JK Rowling agrees with me, I’m doing the right thing/America’s most famous opponent of transgender athletes in women’s sports is celebrating a Supreme Court win. She is ‘vindicated’ — and emboldened by her British husband" (London Times).

There's also this quote from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: "Maybe if you channeled all this anger into swimming faster you wouldn’t have come in fifth."

That's from last October, when JK Rowling tweeted, "@Riley_Gaines doesn’t defend women’s rights for attention or money, any more than I do. We fight because it’s the only thing to do if you’re not a coward, a pick me or a living doormat."

The London Times is very interested in the British husband, Louis Barker, who, we're told, "is on his way to becoming a jeans-wearing, truck-driving, job-creating American man, with a beard and a mullet and a construction company. Gaines says she has recently caught him saying 'y’all' and 'ain’t.'"

Gaines says: "The concept of not having a fully fledged American man wearing, like, blue jeans and driving a truck and carrying his gun around and wearing his cowboy boots … I never imagined myself with anything other than that. And so when I saw Louis, who was quite the opposite... Let’s just say that super-tight, skinny jeans … the very European haircut shaved on the sides and long on the top was not my type at all."

The highest-rated comment over there: "All credit to this woman, whose voice is much needed in these insane 'choose your own sex' times."

Second highest: "Riley Gaines was disadvantaged pretty much more than anyone by coming up against a giant bloke in the swimming pool and being expected to keep quiet about it in order not to upset said giant bloke."

Third: "Not only did the women's team have to compete against an intact male, they had to get changed with him. In regular practices, numerous times. Called a bigot if they objected. It's despicable."

Fourth: "Hello fellow members of the moderate Left, do you dislike the Right like I do? Then don't allow them to be clearly, undeniably and objectively on the correct side, as in this case and on this issue."

AOC would be the first one crying if she was forced to change in front of a REAL man. Such a lying Progressive hypocrite.

AOC and the rest are all brave until someone unsheathes an erect penis in the women’s locker room.

If everyone is allowed to call their own gender you make it easy for sexual predators to prey on their victims…

Those are excellent comments highlighted by the Times readers and so reasonable compared to the frothing freaks that get upvoted by NYT readers.

Contemporaneous news today reveals the boy-dressed-as-girl athlete in VA, subject in the recent SCOTUS decision, would routinely tell the real girls on the high school swim team to “suck my dick” and other abuse, mostly directed at girls who had formally complained about him being on the girls team.

A mentally ill or sadomasochistic or dangerously sexually abusive fetishist allowed to show his penis in womens' locker rooms. Nothing less than arresting him, his coach team, and their coach team.

Maybe William Thomas should have channeled all of his anger of not being born a woman into swimming faster so he wouldn’t have come in fifth on the men’s team.

Riley didn’t have to step into the fight like she did and she knew the type of target she would become. She deserves to be part of this victory. All right thinking Americans should be proud of her.

We don't get that many chances to point and laugh at a naked emperor.
While everybody cowered in fear, Riley put on her best Rosa Parks and figuratively, if not expressly, said, 'I'm not pretending that what I'm seeing is not happening'.

AOC is an actress recruited to play a part, which she does well and which has succeeded beyond the wildest dreams of her backers. Whether anything she says or does is logical, correct, or even consistent is not important. She voices the complaints of those who feel like they deserve more, dammit, and someone damn well better give them what they want.

The response from Gaines to AOC should be--"Yes, I was beaten by three women who worked extremely hard and beat my time. If I had swum faster than any of those other women I would have finished...second. To a man."

I think that referring to "transwomen" as "giant blokes" is the way to go. Hope it catches on.

So if men (trans-, cis-, whatever) want to play on women's teams, women should just become better swimmers, basketball players, hockey players, etc.? AOC doesn't think there should be teams just for women?

AOC doesn't have any ability to analyze, she's just a fucking beertender.

So, if an NBA player got it in his head to play in the WNBA, that would be legit, right?

It annoys me that the easy way to "fix" all this is for those who don't want to compete against men to just boycott a few events. Tell everyone that the girls won't be there and when the money doesn't show up, the NCAA, high school, etc. will fix the problem to keep their cash flowing. It would help if some college football teams boycotted in solidarity.

Same would have happened for all the whiners about NFL players kneeling. Stop bitching and skip a few games, turn off ESPN, etc. Impact the money and they'll fix the "problem.

But people want to whine, not take real action.

Like why has no bar labeled their bathrooms as Penis and No-Penis instead of using the now "vague" terms men and women

Ironically, this whole retarded episode is a result of the feminization of the culture. Before that took over, these men in women spaces would have been dealt with quickly and violently, but that would only be needed a very few times if at all. Like most of the crime and debauchery we see today, this was encouraged by the knowledge that the perverts would be protected by their victims and their suicidal empathy.

The people actually pushing this is the Pritzker family.

They don't actually care about trans people. The goal is to make people say things that are obviously not true and attack people who speak the truth.

This is old school totalitarian strategy.

“‘[V]indicated’”? Riley noticed there was a dick in her locker room and in the pool on a man pretending to be a woman. Only Democrats and, apparently, the British mediaswine would fail the see the irony in this choice of words. (Naturally, I include American leftmediaswine among Democrats.)

The AOC quote is a good example of why politicians shouldn't tweet or bsky or use social media themselves. But maybe we've reached the point where politicians can't _not_ tweet. Maybe typing stupid things and showing them to the world is the only way politicians can be "authentic" and remain in the public eye. Until they go too far and get platnered.

Here's a great clip.

She tied the man, utterly tied him, in the 200 freestyle. Riley thinks it's divine intervention. It was so close, nobody could identify a winner. 1 minute, 43 seconds, and .40 seconds.

And the astounding thing, done by the official at the race. They only had one trophy. So they gave it to the man. What a mistake that was! Talk about infuriating women athletes in general and Riley Gaines specifically. She's trained her whole life for this moment. And she is denied by a ringer, a man, who didn't even beat her.

I think much of the dam breaking was when I believe it was Utah State's women's volleyball team refused to play San Jose state? Who had a trannie on the team. They caught immense flack for it... but then other teams started boycotting San Jose too. (It could be san Diego state, so apologize to San Jose if I'm wrong). Then the players on that team started speaking out and suing because their coach was telling them they had to undress/share space with this guy... who was boasting about how he would screw his girlfriend to them. All while claiming to be a woman.
