Regarding Givhan’s statement here, that the admin sees itself as a regime, seems to me to be pure projection. No one in the admin claims to be a regime, nor behaves as one. Evidence is all the court bickering that they participate in fully, including abiding by judicial outcomes as they occur.
It's such a sad way to live your life, letting the people you hate most decide what you will or won't like. To let some guy you've never met and who doesn't know you're alive tell you to abandon the pleasant memories of your youth and change what you consider fun.

I am old enough to recall that every Republican POTUS in the last 75 years has been either evil or stupid or both. Trump is simply the latest iteration.
So now the elitist left's grievance against Trump is that he put his face on banners and his administration "sees itself as . . . a regime." What happened to canceling elections? What happened to rounding up opponents and putting them in jail? If Givhan's heart hurts, it's really because Trump is doing a lot of positive things that no reasonable American can despise him for (even if they don't necessarily agree).
