Rubio looks utterly defeated in this picture. It should become a new meme.

So, Vance is going to sign that $300B check, it's on him.

NeggNogg? Where did you come from?

Rubio looks fine. Is he supposed to grin ear to ear all of the time to satisfy you Kamala-lovin' leftist cultists?

So this is the JCPOA 2.0 which could have been obtained through negotiation (if not already). The way he tries to justify things is exactly what someone who lost would say.

It wasn't that funny. Sometimes Trump hits it - sometimes the comedy flops.

Impeach!

Rubio doesn't share Trump's gay humor.

I don't know but if you search, you'll get a lot of eggnog, so I hope it's Eggagog.

Jeez, first the Left is upset Trump stopped Iran from getting nuclear weapons to go with their ballistic missiles, and now the Left is upset that Trump is organizing international investment in the mullah-devastated Iranian economy.

Pretty much. But, it's still the right thing for our country and the world. Sometimes there are no good options and you are left selecting the "least shittiest option."

These were the options on the table:

Option 1: Claim victory! (But still pay Iran a bunch of money, lift sanctions, let them keep their missiles and the "nuclear dust" and let them keep their civilian nuclear program.)

Option 2: World War III.

@ D.D. It's a much better deal for Iran than the original JCPOA.

I think better relations between the West and Iran is good for the world, and good for Iran. The longstanding aggression only benefited one country. The history of mistrust with the US runs deep dating to the Shah. It’s not like the US doesn’t work with despots and religious rulers elsewhere in the Middle East.

Funny how letting people invest in Iran is "signing a check."

You are just dishonest pieces of shit pretending this is anything like what Barrack Obama did.

Ha Hahahahahaha! Love it.

You get the chance to ask the POTUS a question about world changing events, and your need for a gotcha makes you blow it. At least think up a real gotcha, ya loser. IDK, maybe Trump put him out there as a plant.

Over under on the number of hours Rubio slept in the last 30 days: 60.

Get fucked losers. You can pretend all you want but your globalist masters got capped.

Maybe Rubio just doesn't want to smile at the prospect of his potential Presidential rival getting blame for the inevitable Iranian failure to abide by its agreements.

bagoh20 said...

You know what Rubio isn't doing? Trying to hold up the President so he doesn't fall down. I think that's an improvement.

Sure, Jan. This is called "polishing a turd."

You are just too stupid to understand what is actually going on in the world.

China is buying Oil with dollars now.

Deal with it loser.

One element of the Trumpian deal is to make the other guy happy with it. If the other party is resentful, it just makes more trouble later. So let whoever is in charge of Iran feel like they got the better of us.

Polishing a turd indeed:
Upon careful review, we conclude this concession was not reliable. More specifically, we find the DAO conceded relief although none was warranted based on the existing record, violated its duty of candor to the PCRA court, withheld material evidence from the court, opposed efforts by amici to gain access to this evidence, submitted a false stipulation of fact, misstated facts in its pleadings, failed to conduct a reasonable investigation, and opposed a required evidentiary hearing. The predictable result was the erroneous grant of a new trial.

Leland said...

Speaking of turds... Judge upholds the conviction of former Wisconsin judge Hannah Dugan for helping immigrant evade ICE.

But that's not quite the polishing that this judge was doing, but she's at least no longer presiding over the Georgia Voter Roll case.

Obama’s deal was different from Trump’s. The 2015 pact was a very detailed and very technical agreement with implementation mechanisms and oversight. Trump's version of this thing sounds like something that was pieced together over WhatsApp messages.

It sounds like the only thing Iran has actually agreed to do, aside from more talks, is to reopen the Strait for as long as Israel behaves itself.

Netanyahu sold Trump on an easy victory in the hope that the U.S. would be pulled into a multi-year quagmire. Trump deserves plenty of blame for buying into the rosy sales pitch. However, it was also worth recalling that it was Netanyahu who lobbied the hardest to blow up the JCPOA in Trump's first term. In each instance Netanyahu got exactly the policy he wanted. It is a bit rich for him or the people who lobbied for war and against diplomacy for years to complain about the near-term outcome of this process. Netanyahu's true genius has been his godlike ability to externalize costs and avoid responsibility. But perhaps he has finally met his match in Donald Trump, who somehow converted several lifetimes worth of business and personal failures into being a twice elected president of the United States.

Iran got 3/4 of the war reparations they asked for, so they agreed to maybe sign a semi-permanent deal down the road. The MOU was just in time for Don to bitch slap the G7 whom replied "Thank you, Sir. May I have another?"

Meanwhile, the Scots are drinking Boston dry.

Couldn’t have picked a more fitting place to sign a declaration of unconditional surrender than Versailles. The Iran deal resolves literally none of Trump’s stated war aims. not a single one. It’s still a good thing Trump took this off-ramp.

A deal the Iran never once adhered to.
