What do you mean? Statistical improbabilities - especially the big outliers - are certainly evidence that fraud may have occurred. They aren't irrefutable evidence, but they're certainly probable cause for further investigation.
When, for example, a shocking number of babies are stillborn or have terrible birth defects, among a population of mothers who took a particular medication during pregnancy, that's sufficient cause to look into that medication. Isn't it? You don't need 100% of babies born to mothers who took that medication to die or have birth defects. All you need is a statistical outlier.
Why can't you admit that?
When two predominantly working-class counties, separated by a state line, have voted in lockstep for the past 20 years, and then in one and only one very irregularly conducted election the one in the "blue" state goes the opposite way from the one in the "red" state, why do you think it's not significant? When almost literally zero late votes go to one candidate - the only Republican in the race, who, on election night, was known to be way ahead of the third finisher - in a state that runs a jungle primary, has criminalized even asking for proof of voting eligibility, and allows late ballots to come in for an effectively undefined period after election day, why can't you admit that it looks fishy as hell, and would warrant investigation?

The burden of proof is on the state running the election. The state must prove that they ran a free and fair election. It's not up to the voters to prove they didn't. The voters don't even have access to that information.

As is often the case for me, in the absence of facial expression or tone of voice, I'm not sure if this is sarcasm. But even if it is, which way does it cut? No one in the "fraud" camp is claiming that no evidence equals evidence, and those in the "scrupulously honest" camp are saying that there is no evidence despite the undeniable presence of serious statistical outliers and hard-to-explain patterns - both of which, ISTM, are in the realm of circumstantial evidence.
I remember, growing up, it was something everyone knew. They hold elections in the Soviet bloc countries, but they're fixed. The Party always wins.

Pratt was going to lose a heads-up race against either of the two leading Democrat candidates- as bad off as L.A. is today, it will have to get much worse before the voters have had enough of the incompetent leftist governing bodies. I think Democrats decided that they had had enough of Pratt's mockery and decided to do a full court press to run him off the ballot in November. There were two ways to do this- either bring Raman up into second place or push Bass over the 50% margin so that the race in November never occurs. The second option required Raman's asssent- so they went with option #1. It probably has been done by backdating ballots and not putting them through the post- I imagine nearly 100,000 ballots have been filled out since last Tuesday night with Raman selected.
California, like every place run by Democrats is ripe for election fraud. Any claim that elections are secure cannot be proven and ignores facts. Having said that, fraud or no fraud Pratt was not going to win. I recently moved back to California after a 60-year absence (family reasons). People here are “through the looking glass.” Think: Newsom, Schiff, Swalwell, Pelosi, Waters, Khanna, Bass, etc.
Pratt was unlikely to win the general, and if he did, he'd be fought tooth and nail on any reforms, but that's irrelevant. Fraud is the issue. If everyone assumes he would lose anyway, then why did they cheat? Because that's who they are, they knew it was easy, they knew they would get away with it, and they don't care if you know they cheated. They still won. Stopping people like that is the whole issue, not who wins or loses.
I'm sure that as people sat in NGO offices filling out ballots for homeless people they never met, they had no problem justifying it to themselves in multiple ways.
Bass would probably win the general even with Pratt in the race, but the Dems wanted to avoid that head-to-head focus through the general election.
Even with Raman in the final, she will remain an after thought. Pratt can still execute upon his original strategy outside the final race, if he has the personal drive and motivates his grassroots support.
I honestly didn't think that Pratt was a good candidate. His videos were funny, but his plans were vague and unobtainable. (He also hit me as a person who would have no problem lying when convenient.) If he had won, the Democrats at the city level, the county level and the state level would have constantly shut down anything that they disagreed with.
I suspect that he'll keep putting out videos and possibly run as a write in candidate for the general election.

Extending my comment from 1:05pm, setting up Raman in this manner is an almost no-brainer. She only had to make it into the general with Bass under 50%. Pratt's strong campaign made that an easier lift but it wouldn't have been insurmountable otherwise. Any expendable candidate or candidates could have been boosted to cut into Bass's percentage. Now the ceiling of Bass's support is known, and the amount of fraud need only be enough to defeat Bass without, as Yancey noted, needing to clear a 50% threshold in a much larger field.

Is there anyplace in the US where Democrat candidates are still in the running on election day but fall out of contention to Republicans as mail-in votes keep getting counted days (or weeks) afterwards?
