"Barack Hussein Obama’s Deal with Iran... was an easy, beautiful, smooth road to a Nuclear Weapon, which Iran would have had six years ago..."

"... and would have used long before now. My Agreement with Iran is the exact opposite, A WALL TO NO NUCLEAR WEAPON! In fact, they no longer want a Nuclear Weapon, nor will they have one, either through purchase, development, or any other form of procurement. The Deal is scheduled to get signed tomorrow, and immediately after it is signed, the Hormuz Strait is OPEN TO ALL."

Writes Trump, at Truth Social.

We've heard so many times that the deal is about to be signed, so generally I resist blogging about it. I'll believe it when I see it. But "The Deal is scheduled to get signed tomorrow" sounds more definite, doesn't it? Weasel word: "scheduled."

Trump continues: "Our relationship with Iran is a much different and better one than previous Administrations have had. Unlike Obama’s Hundreds of Billions of Dollars in payments to them, including 1.7 Billion Dollars in green, cold cash, no money will exchange hands. At the appropriate time, when all is calm, we will go in and get the Nuclear Dust, buried deep under the powerful sunken granite mountains, thanks to our beautiful B-2 Bombers and their brilliant pilots, and downblend and destroy it, whether in Iran, or the United States. We look forward to working with Iran, and the entire Middle East, long into the future. Hopefully, this process will all work out quickly, easily, and smoothly. If it doesn’t, we have the ultimate alternative, hopefully never to be used again! Thank you for your attention to this matter!!! President DONALD J. TRUMP"

"Hopefully... hopefully...."

I do hope it is happening- but reality tells me it won't be easy. Decades of absolute power, and the support of the left in Europe and America, isn't something the Iranian thugs will give up.
but yes, 'hopefully'.

We can sign the deal with Iran any time we want. We aren't fighting with Iran anymore. We aren't bombing them. There really is no war. Iran surrendered long ago and so did China and Russia.

We are fighting with Europe.

I am going to add Brazil to this list now too. There is some crazy shit going down in Brazil now. The local government in Rio just sent the army into the gang town the red haired gang controlled, killed over 100 of them, and laid them out in the middle of the street.

The federal government in Brazil is big mad with Rio.

This battle is happening all around the world right now and the globalists are taking it in the ass in every battle.

Until we get The Nuclear Dust, it’s just words on the page. Perhaps Iran has settled on its new ruler. Trump killed the top two layers.

And yes Trump's post does highlight that Barrack Obama was a traitor to the United States serving foreign interests.

Believe it when it happens. I support Trump, but he needs to keep the volume down -- or better yet, off -- until the ink is dry. His cred is on the line here, so...

It's Trump's way of keeping the thing going, whatever its realistic prospects. Iran gets no negotiating foothold.

Everybody's tired of official statements, which Trump's are not. Trump's are movements.

It helps a lot when you kill off the previous Iranian administration.

Peru enters the Trump column.

The victory marks a major political comeback for Fujimori, 51, who lost three previous presidential bids and has spent two decades building the political movement founded by her father, former President Alberto Fujimori.

There is something entertaining in a sour sense that one needs to put more credit to the PM of Pakistan over the US President but... that is where we are.

“Pakistani prime minister Shehbaz Sharif said an “electronic signing” of a memorandum of understanding was expected within 24 hours”

Don’t tell me this is getting done using Docusign!

You are a retard.

It is not a shock that you are confused by the situation and don't have any idea what Trump is doing.

Nobody expects anything from someone as stupid as you are. You have been so stupidly wrong so often you are really just entertainment at this point.

Trump's deal with Iran is 95% done. All that remains to be negotiated is Iran's nuclear program, the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, and the unfreezing of Iranian assets.

Zero chance Iran agrees to reopening the strait without significant Iranian assets being unfrozen. Not easy to sell that, even for Trump.

Has any reporter ever asked Trump for *specific* parts of the JCPOA he will avoid in his agreement with Iran?

He obviously cannot answer the question because he doesn't actually know what the JCPOA says. But that doesn't mean he shouldn't be asked every time he brings this up.

Trump’s description of the deal is the exact opposite of Iran’s description of the deal. There will be no signing tomorrow.

How many big announcements have come Friday night into Saturday, only to be walked back Sunday so the whole thing plays out while the markets are closed?

We'll see.

"Has any reporter ever asked Trump for *specific* parts of the JCPOA he will avoid in his agreement with Iran?"

For the United States, the primary weak points of the JCPOA were the temporary "sunset clauses" that phased out nuclear restrictions, the lack of constraints on Iran's ballistic missile development, and limits on verifying undeclared military sites. Furthermore, the deal was criticized for providing Iran with billions in sanctions relief that could be used to fund regional proxies.

Sunset Clauses/Expiration of limits: Key restrictions on Iran's uranium enrichment, centrifuge manufacturing, and heavy-water reactor production were designed to expire ("sunset") after 10 to 15 years. Critics argued this merely delayed Iran's path to a nuclear weapon rather than permanently preventing it.

Industrial-scale enrichment: Post-expiration, Iran would be legally permitted to industrialize its nuclear program with advanced centrifuges, potentially allowing a rapid dash for a nuclear weapon.

Inspection and Verification Hurdles: No "anytime, anywhere": The agreement did not mandate "anytime, anywhere" inspections for International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors.

Military bases: Undeclared sites and military facilities were often placed off-limits. If there was a dispute over accessing a suspected site, the process allowed for a resolution period that could take up to 24 days, potentially granting Iran time to conceal illicit activities.

Missile Development and Regional Aggression: Delivery systems: The JCPOA solely addressed the nuclear file and omitted constraints on Iran's ballistic missile programs, which are the primary delivery vehicles for nuclear warheads.

Proxies and destabilization: The agreement did not restrict Iran’s support for regional proxy militias, meaning sanctions relief could theoretically be diverted to bolster these networks.

Sanctions Relief and Financial Assets/Unfrozen assets: The lifting of nuclear-related sanctions provided Iran with an estimated tens of billions of dollars in unfrozen foreign assets. Opponents argued the cash infusion would strengthen the regime's malign regional and domestic capabilities.

These fundamental limitations sparked major debate... While proponents viewed the deal as a critical mechanism for buying time and preventing immediate conflict, many U.S. policymakers argued these flaws fatally undermined long-term security.

One person has lied about this 38 times, now he’s claiming that Iran has completely capitulated and agreed to totally disarm itself, which is not what Iran is saying, so time will tell. It makes me sick that I voted for and defended this man whose word is worth nothing.

What I suspect is that the agreement is written in such a way as to mean nothing, if it exists at all, and this war is going to continue.

LOL! 38 times!

Tim. You are officially just plain retarded.

And move to Iran you piece of shit. You don't belong in our country. You belong with your people.

And when I mean your people I mean the Shia Mullahs. Don't move in with the Persians you want killed. They would hate you too if they heard the bullshit you constantly spew.

Usually in these "negotiations," Iran says they are about to sign a deal but the US is refusing and this tactic always made us look silly and picky. But Trump has stolen their line so (whoever in Iran dares to be) the government of Iran is the one saying, "no, no, no deal!"
But maybe there is a deal. Maybe China told them to deal. Maybe the Gulf states. Or maybe Trump has been calling them up in their hideouts and asking about the negotiations. "He knows where we are - run! run! Get off the phone you dummy. He's tracking, he's tracking."

That was a terrible agreement. One is forced to the conclusion that Obama wanted Iran to have the bomb. Just not on his watch.

Obama was stupid.

But he was also deeply evil and he tried to get as many of us killed in Afghanistan as possible.

He was trying to start a nuclear war in the middle east. He wanted Israel nuked and he wanted them to glass Iran.

I have often disagreed vehemently with Achilles, --rk, and rarely "signed on" to anything he says by agreeing with him. Your latest lie is again the moral equivalent of calling someone names: false names, in this case. Try again. Or don't. It doesn't matter.

One thing that seems clear is that nobody outside the inner circle of the Administration (and perhaps Netanyahu) has any real idea what is going on. Which is perhaps what Trump has been working to accomplish.

Trump is right. Iran doesn't need/want a nuclear weapon anymore.

Iran's leaders have discovered that they can disrupt the world economy and humiliate America by shutting down the Gulf of Hormuz.
