"Those words never left my lips."

He was chasing clicks as affirmation. There is a pattern on social media for people like him. It happened to many people.

At first they are on the edge and they are saying true things that nobody else would say. His question to Mike Pence in 2024 had to be asked but nobody else would ask it.

He continued down that path but his metric was always "can I get more clicks." He is also sadly a part of the machine that was built to keep Lloyd's of London in charge of world shipping.

He has never actually looked at his role as a cog in the machine. His dad was also CIA so at some point you have to review the possibility he was always false flag.

Trucker turned into a Lying Liar who lies.
Tucker - congrats - you are now a Democrat.

Tucker is a Kristol. LOL. Sad F.

In order to understand why the world media is losing its shit right now you have to look at the strategic and operational differences between Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Epic Fury.

Iraqi freedom was planned and and executed in order to: spend a lot of money and drain the US, and to build Iran up as a counterbalance to Saudi Arabia/Israel so there would never be peace in the region.

Between 1910 and 1950 Britain set up the middle east for centuries of war and they have been using the US to manage it. The rulers of Britain have been particularly nasty not just to their people but to the world outside of Europe. They gave France the Sahel and they took the Suez after WWII.

I'd have a drop of respect for him if he admitted it. Owned it.
Tucker said it - it's all there on the tape.

That Tucker refuses to own it, thus making him a liar, places him on the same level as SPLC and ALL leftist democratic liars he beds with.

Peachy said...

She quotes Tucker verbatim - and he denies it. Judas.

Are the knives really out for Tucker, or is this just a case where people are looking a little closer at how he earns his money? I don't get a sense of 'revenge' from the criticism, just a much-needed confrontation which, as we can see, has him scrambling to walk back his past behavior. Online podcasters and influencers are highly skilled at keeping your attention, but that doesn't mean they're honest. They're entertainers, nothing more. Some offer enlightenment and learning, some offer sugar highs.

Tucker also said his monologues on his Fox show were ad libbed—he had no writers. I know his former head writer and he wrote all the monologues. Tucker would tweak them…. sometimes. FOX kept Tucker tightly scripted. What you see now is Tucker without guardrails.

Achilles, how is it that Britain "gave" the French the Sahel? When was the Sahel Britain's to give to anyone?

He is a cheesy salesman. He's found his groove, knows his customers and what they want. Occasionally he'll slip up, but until his customer base wakes up to what he is and how they're being sold, he'll continue to plow ahead on this path. I know some think he could run for President. I am sure he has no stomach for that. He'd be ripped apart. Too many of his thoughts are recorded. They're out there. And frankly, when reviewed, he sounds like a madman.
But he's just a very good, though cheesy, salesman.

From the interview:
Lulu Garcia-Navarro asks, “Can asking questions stir up hate? Language is powerful.”
A reporter asked that.

The "just asking questions" schtick is getting tiresome.

When Tucker was a teenager in Del Mar, he sometimes tooled around town in a go kart that had explosives in the back, just behind the seat. He hasn't changed.

Trumpism is nothing more than a one-man deep state stripped of competence, coherence, and constraint.

One reads in the NYT the op-ed by Christopher Caldwell and the interview with Tucker Carlson and can see that the Republicans are rejecting neoconservatism and much of neoliberalism wholesale. Pro economic growth no longer means tax cuts for the superrich and supercharged wealth concentration and pro-monopoly. The GOP is rediscovering the people out in mainstream America. And a much less interventionist foreign policy with much smaller aspirations.

On the Democratic side, the party is walking away from the Senator Chuck Schumer program of no-questions-ever-asked pro-Israel foreign policy, endless financial deregulation, pro-monopoly industrial policy, and extreme tax preferences for the superrich. The Senate Democratic caucus has been no where near the principles of the Democratic party of 1896-1964 in decades. It too looks like it is going out to rediscover the rest of America in its search for a new majority. The Democrats in Washington have to disabuse themselves of the notion that the people are just looking for a Biden-Harris restoration after Trump. The American people look poised to demand something much more new and much more progressive.

The Trump experience is profoundly remaking both political parties.

I guess he was ad-libbing his eye movements too, 'cuz it sure looked like he was reading a teleprompter.

Wow, what a lame "Gotcha". Tucker said "could this be the antichrist? Who knows?" Dont know what he said after that because they cut it off. He probably said what he said in the interview "I don't know what the antichrist is. I've tried to understand it".

IOW, its just the NYT's/MSM smear machine in action. Lets not address Tucker's arguments. Lets paint him as a Christian Kook. And play gotcha. After 10 years of doing to this to Trump, I'm immune to MSM game.

He is just asking questions. He deserves the Candace Owens Award for grifting.

I only remember that leftie guy who some of you here seemed to respect for some reason, the guy that went on his show and crowed about J6! J6!! J6!!! At the end of the show he told Tucker his old journolist friends had been asking him 'What's wrong with Tucker? ' That must have really hurt Tucker, he seems to be fighting for their approval now. Maybe he's lost his means of financial support or something. That makes people do desperate things..

Tucker's argument is that Trump is not a Christian and doesn't believe what's in the bible. But he has a sort of weird secular mix of Judaism and Protestant beliefs from his upbringing. Which is probably true.

And frankly, I don't care. It doesn't matter what POTUS' believe in their hearts, its what they do that matters. And that's true of other politicians. If we learned Lindsey Graham deeply believed in christianty - in his heart - would it matter? No. Because as a Senator he's the biggest Killer-clown ever. Always shouting to "Kill 'em all" and wanting to fund wars.

RCOCEAN II said...

Tucker attacks Trump. NYT's sides with Trump. Strange bedfellows indeed. Why would Liberal/left NYT's do that. Could it be...Israel and the wars in the middle east?

Narr,

My take is that Britain and France were dlvvying up the continent, and Britain "gave" the Sahel in the sense of ceding it to France instead of competing for it (see, in contrast, the Fashoda incident.)

Achilles might have a different take...

Narr said...

Kirk Parker--I know the history. I just don't know Achilles's reasoning.
