The kids don't call that cool today, annie. Too drunk to stand up... lol. The point he realizes he's been brought along as a prop, their trophy boy. He should smile more. Heh
…a moment of candid emotion. I like it. Who was the dude with the selfie? A Chinese capitalist or some future embarrassment for Musk’s enemies to point and wail ‘look who Musk hangs with!!! Waa! Musk was right to mug…
Musk is my hero. Beyond Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink & other significant contributions to humanity, he may have literally "Saved Our Democracy" by buying Twiiter, exposing it as the propaganda & censorship tool of the leftist deep state that it was, and transforming it into a free speech platform that allows the greater community to debate and refute the lies that we are told daily by the legacy media and the entrenched political class. Without the new "X," the mainstream narrative would still be: Trump is a Russian asset, Covid came from a Wuhan wet market, the Hunter laptop story is fake, Biden is "sharp as a tack," the 2020 election was the "safest and most secure election in history" and suggesting impropriety is "The Big Lie," and J6 was a violent and deadly insurrection designed to overthrow the government.
One of the best things about Elon Musk is that it's very unlikely he'll end up like Howard Hughes. From his accomplishments it really seems pretty obvious the commitment he has taken on in service of the human race. Ayn Rand would be writing books on his themes if she was still around (and she'd probably still be just as wrong).
Very cool. He seems very bored with it all. Looks like he would rather be building another rocket or playing a video game. Wonder if he left the seeds for a Chinese Musk baby in Beijing.
I thought that what we were going to get with Trump was guy who just wanted everybody to get rich, that’s why I voted for him three times, instead we got a bumbling, easily misled idiot who has weakened the US to the point that Xi just told him, very politely, of course, to go pound sand.
I suspect that is why we have to wait 4 more days for Starship v3, because he has to get back from China. Not that he needs to be there for the launch, but why would he not want to be there for that launch?
We need to be de-coupling from China. I wonder if that's what Trump will do. Why are all those tech titans there? I'm concerned Trump will want to do more business with China. That will seem like winning to him. Hope I'm worrying for nothing.
The way to buy shares in SpaceX at a discount right now though is to buy EchoStar. More than 100% of Echostar's current share price value is covered by it's SpaceX shares (at a $1.75 trillion valuation).
What color do you think the sky is in kwimtay’s world? I’m thinking it must be black all the time because he sounds like he lives in the dark. Just sitting and stewing on Trump. Got everything we wanted so far but taint nuff for Tampon Tay. Nope he’s got to tell us, in writing, that despite voting for Trump over and over he is disappointed because after 60 years of leftists tearing down our institutions it is not perfect yet.
Obviously some lifelong Republicans did NOT vote for Trump because they want more Republicans elected. Not sure why they voted for him. Myself, I am thrilled to have a coherent geopolitical strategy that isolates China and forces the EU and NATO to recognize their failures. Iran being beat down with no nukes is a good bonus. Middle East peace is just one of the impossible things 47 has accomplished so far.
Trump’s disclosure shows hundreds of millions of dollars in US securities traded in first quarter ~ Yahoo
"Financial disclosures for US President Donald Trump showed hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of transactions involving securities in major American companies including Nvidia, Palantir, Paramount and Boeing in the first three months of 2026.
"Regulatory filings published by the US Office of Government Ethics show transactions involving Tesla, Nvidia, Apple, Meta, Visa, Citi, Boeing, Qualcomm and GE Aerospace."
"Top executives of all of those companies accompanied the US president on his trip to Beijing this week to meet Chinese leader President Xi Jinping."
I don’t think this requires any comment. It speaks for itself.

After spending a half-century watching politicos enriching themselves by screwing over the country, I am very comfortable seeing a bunch of non-politicos enriching themselves by unscrewing the country.
The camera caught nothing. It was all in the soundtrack. It's a Wizard of Oz thing: Musk is still a nerd, but he has the production techniques to make him look cool.
Mine too. In my reckoning he is well ahead of Trump as the most consequential man of the 21st Century, and long after we are all dead I expect him to be in the running for the "Man of the Millennium". His name will be spoken with respect ten thousand years from now.
Rescuing Twitter from the Deep State scum and the leftist commissars of political correctness may have been the most selfless and glorious act of charity ever performed by a wealthy American. He risked $40 billion to give us our voices back. It's no exaggeration to say he may have saved free speech for generations to come.
Those who run down Elon Musk are fools and enablers of tyranny, and I consider them to be among my worst enemies.
Ayn Rand would be writing books on his themes if she was still around (and she'd probably still be just as wrong).
She was a pretty bad author, but she wasn't wrong. Just look at things like the destructive economic stupidity of "Cash for Clunkers", which helped no one but the auto workers union and wealthy car buyers, and inflicted severe harm on poor people needing inexpensive transportation. Other themes that have come straight out of her writings into real life include the enrichment of NGO's and other government cronies via fraudulent government programs like USAID, the inability of high-tax locales like California to keep up with basic infrastructure needs like repairing potholes or building high speed rail, the horde of wealthy people "Going Galt" and fleeing leftist enclaves where they are vilified and treated as communal pinatas to be beaten until they supply all the kiddies with candy, and the unbelievably stupid, unimpressive, reflexively authoritarian scum in our government like Bernie Sanders, AOC, and Mamdani.
Rand's great tour de force is the "Money Speech" of Francisco d'Anconia. You can read it in five or ten minutes, and that is all you need to read of her.

He is The Champion!
Secretly you just know he's an epic sperg. Some people find that lovable.

Even Tim Apple wanted a pic with him, lol!

I don't think I've ever seen Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang without his trademark leather jacket.
I'm about $800 billion short of coolness.

$828 billion, to be precise.
Chairman Xi, I have good news and bad news.
Good news: in 9 months, our birth dearth will be solved.
Bad news: all the babies will be half-Boer.

"That's me in the corner. That's me in the spotlight."
My ass tends to get sweaty when I sit like that at functions.
Elon’s looking comfortably numb; lots of empty glasses in front of him. He knows how to get through these things.
Maybe Dos Equis has found their new most interesting man in the world.
He’s higher than a kite.

Well if not black maybe a deep purplish brown.

My eye was on the waitresses and I wonder if they were really spies. (Like I even have to ask...)
My eye was on the waitresses and I wonder if they were really spies.
Thucydides Honey Trap
They're all spies.
Bob, look up Bessent’s comments about the proposed Board of Trade under discussion.
I'm sure the hostesses in the red dresses are also working for Chinese intelligence.
Humorous Tweet. But for all we know Musk was taking a break from standing and talking to others for 1 hour.
"My eye was on the waitresses and I wonder if they were really spies"
Be careful, her bowtie is really a camera

Everyone not you, could be a spy.
Enjoy your trip to China.

Musk is a man on the autistic spectrum; social events are genuine trial.
