Did "millions" turn out for the "No Kings" demonstrations today? Because someone I read today (either on Twitter or in this comment section) said the Asheville demonstration was 15 people, all over 65. If that was the count at a fair-sized town crawling with college students, hippies, and other lefties, I seriously doubt there were even a million at all of them put together, much less plural "millions".

Never before have so few done so little for so many.
Emerson, Thoreau, Holmes, and all those bloodless New Englanders we're supposed to admire have a lot to answer for. You can draw almost a direct line between their thought, and the Civil war and Reconstruction.

They'd be wondering why we didn't invade and hang every Iranian decades ago for their crimes and acts of war against the US, like our first use of the Marines against Muslim terrorists back in their day.
The 1800s Americans would call us all soft pansies or worse, and probably hang just about every Democrat and a whoooole lot of republicans and then go kick some ass overseas.

Was at a local diner and there was three No Kings geezers slumming it in the next booth. Seriously, who asks for a Merlot at a diner? I overheard the women wondering aloud if our town had a newspaper. It was painfully obvious they weren’t from here and had come down to swell the numbers at the local protest. I found that interesting. Surely any town of size north of us had a NK happening? I noticed the same thing at a LGBT demo held down here last summer. Lots of out-of-towners. Like there’s a particular value in holding these events in places where the locals are less than simpatico. OTOH, I did hear the NK granny commenting on the locals driving by and ignoring the tantrum. So it’s entirely possible that they feel they’re doing missionary work among the benighted.
Compare how Joe Biden and Democrats treated Craig Robertson with how Trump treats leftists who disagree with him. Democrats belatedly expressing regret over electing FDR four times (President for life), for putting the mediocre bureaucrat Obama on a pedestal because of his skin color alone, and for manipulating the confused old Biden with a takeover by a faceless regent or regents.
When you can't look in the mirror because of your own failings, form a crowd, yell, and make some themed posters. The No Kings crowd are fantastic projectors -- they should get jobs working in movie theaters.
Coming on the heels of the No Kings rally, Zero Hedge has an article on the Commie left’s obsession with flying first class.
Code Pink officials flying first class to Cuba of all places. Bernie “Five Mansions” Sanders flying on a private jets with noted Socialist AOC on the Fight Oilgarchy tour. Lefties are such suckers.
I live near the Milwaukee suburb of Greenfield, WI "No Kings" location at 76th & Layton. Just south of there is a strip mall with about 10 businesses. The protestors do their thing to about noon. The come in and use almost all the parking at the strip mall so the customers have no place to park. A Land Rover with Colorado plates is one of them, he distributes all the signs. He looks exactly like you would think...man bun, backpack, hiking boots, punchable face. Virtually all the rest were seniors. Maybe 20-25 in total. Retards.
The point of the No Kings rallies is to energize the opposition to show up at the polls in November. It’s not just Democrats, it’s Independents and Republicans who have come to their senses. Thank you to all the Americans who showed some signs of common sense.
Well. Y'all accomplished one thing. All the village idiots in one place to protest something that makes no sense at all. Which is why, I guess, that y'all are village idiots.
Iran war exposes split in Donald Trump’s base at conservative activists’ conference ~ FT
'US president’s ‘little excursion’ into the Middle East is making some of his most ardent supporters uneasy'
What stands out from the last part of this article is not simply isolationism, but a basic question of political priorities. For many voters, especially younger and financially strained ones, the issue is not whether Iran matters in the abstract. It is whether another Middle East conflict deserves attention when daily life at home already feels unaffordable.
That frustration is easy to understand. When housing, fuel, and other essentials remain a source of pressure, foreign intervention is not seen as a demonstration of strength but as a distraction from unresolved domestic burdens. In that environment, calls for restraint are not necessarily ideological. They are practical.
This is also why Trump faces a political risk here. A large part of his support has been built on the promise that Washington would focus less on overseas entanglements and more on problems inside the United States. If his presidency becomes associated with higher energy costs and another open-ended confrontation abroad, that cuts directly against the expectations of many who backed him.
So the skepticism should not be dismissed as naïveté. It reflects a broader mood after the tariff induced inflation. Voters are willing to tolerate a great deal less foreign adventurism when the cost of living at home is already doing political damage.
Military experts claim that Trump may not have the troops to occupy both Iran and America's own cities.
On one side of the aisle you have retired generals explaining the logistical problems an invasion of Iran would have. The other side has people who play fascist Germany on Hearts of Iron IV who think it will be a cakewalk. For the busy voter it’s hard to decide who’s right.
Good news: it opens up jobs for jingoistic incels!

While final figures are still being compiled, early estimates suggest that millions attended Saturday’s rallies. Organizers have described the event as potentially the "largest protest in American history." Millions of people have taken part in more than 3,000 locations across all 50 states. Estimates above 8 million have been made.
The No Kings movement protests against government overreach, military spending, and economic policies favoring the wealthy. Key issues include illegal military actions, economic instability due to tariffs, and immigration enforcement practices. The movement emphasizes that power should belong to the people rather than a ruling elite.
But (Gasp) Republican strategist Scott Jennings ridiculed the Democratic Party on Sunday over its Saturday “No Kings” protests. One ridiculer vs millions of participants! Scott Jennings actually got bashed for 'Trashing Trump' in CNN's Green Room, so he obviously agrees with these protesters, who actually showed with signs, costumes, and chants.

2020 set the standard that street fighters can change governments. CC, JSM
@Little E: Headline NY Post: “No Kings’ protests turn violent in Portland, LA and Dallas ”
Your peaceful protest comment didn’t age well overnight.
No Kings:

Miss my trash can to correct typos. Maybe the can was recycled into an EV fender.

Maybe the can was recycled into an EV fender.
The makers are killing a bunch of EVs, close to a couple dozen models. We should see a trash can glut…
Live St Matthew's Passion though it seems to be preliminaries at the moment.

Not possessive, anyways.
They list a lot of countertenors as soloists so probably a lot of women's alto parts will be stolen. Call the feminists.
Add the effects of a boys' choir in the chorus.
Retards.
The King of Beers dethroned?
The point of the No Kings rallies is to energize the opposition to show up at the polls in November. It’s not just Democrats, it’s Independents and Republicans who have come to their senses. Thank you to all the Americans who showed some signs of common sense.
Well. Y'all accomplished one thing. All the village idiots in one place to protest something that makes no sense at all. Which is why, I guess, that y'all are village idiots.
My beloved wife is an honest to goodness contralto ( bass-baritone, here). We hates counter-tenors, precious, we hates them!
We laugh at you howard like kirk said at khaan
The Palm Beach Post, the local leftist rag, called the anti-No Kings protestors "far-right". Did they call any of the NK protestors "far left" or even "left wing"? Nooooooooooo

I look forward to an ironic outcome of the Iran war: Regime change here, not in Iran.
Alpha Energy - Spencer Pratt's campaign video. He is a Republican, but the race is technically non-partisan, so maybe some Democrats will find the alpha energy they're seeking.
To Hell with Howard, ‘fly, Fredo, Tiny Elvis and the rest of these spiteful mutants on the Left.
Us normies are not phased by them or you either.
The word is fazed.
You’ve had a Regime Change in your pants, Tiny Elvis.

Hitler was a failed art student and a vegan who blamed all his problems on rich people and the Jews.
If he was around today, he'd be attending the Green Party conference

The flags flown at the No Kings Rallies were pretty representative of the Democratic coalition: communist hammer & sickle, trans, Hezbollah, Hamas, & all being waved by weirdo boomers. If you want to know where the energy on the left is - they showed you.

U.S. War Secretary Pete Hegseth stated during a Pentagon briefing on Operation Epic Fury that the United States has "decided to share the ocean with Iran" and "given them the bottom half..."
I LOLed.
RENEGADE (out of MARE SPICE IS NICE )and SIRE INTO MISCHIEF)a sire noted for producing DERBY WINNNERS trainer Pletcher and BOY IRAD Ortiz connected again) ARKANSAS DERBY comes out of the clouds closing on a 112 6f mark ran a little greenly in stretch then powered past coming last 1/8 in 12+ seconds Looked really good. Points toward Derby and a new face to look at. SANTA ANITA up next APRIL 4TH Hopefully will produce a wagering opportunity. RENEGADE moved to #2 behind Commandment in the DERBY point system.(Louisiana winner yesterday)and futures bets at 12-1 although that will drop and he'll be among the favorites after a dominating race INTO MISCHIEF is a great sire for the DERBY. RENEGADE went off as 3-2 favorite yesterday and ran like a 1-9..God's beautiful animals streaking at 40+ MPH toward the finish line is a joy to watch (ever since I was 10 years young) almost 70 years ago. Paladin EARLY FAVORITE WAS HURT YESTERDAY AND OFFICIALLY OFF THE TRAIL SURGERY TOMORROW. There have been a couple of fatalities durig the long season and and as always safety for both riders and animals is of the utmost concern, 1000-1200 pound animals ridden by jocks(at 108-118) at 35 -45 miles an hour is a dangerous and challenging event not for the weak of heart.

Trap? We don't talk about trap.

We're not the ones running up and down the street screaming about Hitler. That's your party, boy.
@Eva Marie (9:28), last week I took my wife to see it at a matinee. We liked it. Of course by now we’re almost desperate for a movie worth watching, but it was sweet without devolving into saccharine.
Well, Gadfly. I'm glad to see you and the rest of your village idiot friends chose a special day to gather and support each others nonsense. You must have a real sense of accomplishment. I don't know why, but I'm sure you do.
