A painting for the elderly and confused.

Not funny. Especially if it's going to an actual broken hearted kid. If that story is fiction (which it probably is), then the story is less troubling.
However, our young people do seem to live in a world of depression, anger, and hurt.

Prove me wrong.

A cruel and unfunny joke.

"Forgotten memories"
Is that like "jumbo shrimp"?

I think the joke is the idea that anyone would think they should ask Trevor Brighton to do a painting for a sensitive, confused, elderly man. I mean, just look at his work.

I turn 80 in a couple months, so “elderly” fits. But I didn’t care for the childish “art,” so apparently I’m not confused. As a Republican that is good to know.

Picture made me think of an illustration for an inexpensive children’s book.
