Heh, indeed.
When 5 million Venezuelans fled to the U.S., then it became our problem. Next time, don’t take him alive.
He could have practiced that line more. The Donroe Doctrine would be perfect.
Just saying we superseded the Monroe Doctine with the Donroe doctrine could have been a perfect clip line.
"We've superseded it by a lot. By a real lot. They now call it the Donroe Document." What is Trump babbling about? Honestly one of the clearest explanations of his foreign policy to date.
James Monroe bought a lot of gilded French furniture for the White House after the War of 1812.....
The left's street circus when this guy has his NYC trial will be ugly. Especially because of the Muslim mayor.
I am glad our hostess pulled this line out for our consideration. It was a shame that it was so weakly delivered in the speech, but it jumped out at me immediately and I posted about it in the earlier thread. No one else picked up on it. I hope the term makes the history books!
Maduro has been extradited to New York to face the full force of a presidential pardon.
If you're interested in a somewhat sane take on what is going on in Venezuela, here is a GZERO summary.

I'm a Trump fan--but he does run his mouth more than is good for him. I spent several years in the late 90s working for one of the major American oil companies on a project to get crude oil from the Orinoco Heavy Oil Belt (allegedly the largest undeveloped oil deposit in the word) to the coast in Venezuela. There were a dozen or more international oil companies working on the same project. As I recall Venezuela had granted six separate concession blocks in the Orinoco. With the military takeover --the Chavez Regime--followed by Maduro all of the companies eventually bailed out. Caracas was not a happy place to visit in those days--and it became even less so. There's a lot of ruin in a mismanaged nation.
How the guys on stage kept their compsure is pretty admirable.
Also, you could tell Old Man Trump had been up all night. I speak worse when I've had 5 hours of sleep.
Hs slurring makes him sound as drunk as Petey Kegsbreath actually is.

Here's the only take you need:
Some fucking punk ass bitch drug dealer tried to defeat the United States and got his ass dunked on while he was still in his fucking pajamas.
We're now taking all his shit.
Any fucking questions?
Who wanna be nex?
We even nabbed his bitch.
LOL
Idiots like FLC go a long way toward ruining a comments section. The quality comes and goes around here, but I don't feel like we are living one of the best times recently.
That’s super articulate, dewormer taking law clerk;
Foreign policy as dictated by demented, big dick swinging criminals.
You sound proud of being a neocon cheerleader.
And here's TBH from the left corner to emphasize my point...
The drool is rather excessive
There is an indictment against the wife so I think they should use her name and not just call her the wife.
Old and slow, writing about his own criminal past:
"Pushing 60 years old. Former fugitive from justice."
Lamenting the bitch-slapping of one of his suppliers, no doubt.
"There is an indictment against the wife ..."
Proving once again that it is indeed possible to obtain an indictment against a ham sandwich.
Come on, Ann. Weren't you a law professor? You understand how all the bullshit laws you taught about work, right?
Mission accomplished, the sequel…
This was one of those cases of international garbage disposal. The Venezuelan regime was annoying everyone and stinking up the place, and had no prospects of improving anything or pulling out of its multiple crises. This dog had to be put down before anything positive could be done.

I said the same thing about... Mrs. Howell and "the rest" (i.e., the Professor and Mary Ann).
AI Overview
Mrs. Howell's full name in Gilligan's Island was Eunice "Lovey" Wentworth Howell
What was the Monroe Doctrine? A warning to European powers to leave the Latin American republics alone? Wasn't it the "Roosevelt Corollary" that authorized our interference in those republics? The has been the "Donroe Doctrine" for over a century now.
"Maduro" reminds me too much of Madero, a Mexican president back when Woodrow Wilson intervened to 'teach the Mexicans to elect good men' (or at least not to overthrow and butcher them).
Madero was the Mexican president assassinated in the military coup that put Huerta in power. Huerta was instantly attacked by all the Mexican regional factions who then saw a route to power, as there was no legitimacy left. The Mexican state and military apparatus that Huerta took over proved too weak to stand against all its enemies in combination.
Someone on Twitter noted that it was surprising that the woman a Latin American dictator was caught in bed with was . . . his wife?!?!

My poor judgement as a young man has little to do with your stupidity an an adult. I own my flaws, you seem blithely unaware of your own shortcomings. How can you possibly overlook them? They are so apparent to everyone else.

So the oil companies ended up not being able to sail with the Orinoco flow and had to sail away, sail away, sail away.
Don!roe Doctrine- Suck it, libtards!
