I watched this so you don't have to. Do. Not. Watch.

To be fair, you DID warn us....

That was my immediate response when I clicked on the doodle. One would think that they would celebrate Jim Morrison's birthday instead.

Well I watched it. I was surprised they included positive depictions of Trump and, more surprisingly, Charlie Kirk and Erica Kirk.

"One would think that they would celebrate Jim Morrison's birthday instead"

Vanishingly few people under 40 even know who Jim Morrison is.

I didn't click and I won't. Every year my paid streaming services send annual usage summaries -- I reviewed them once or twice, but found them to be a pointless waste of time at best and creepy data mining at worst.

Back in the network TV era, the producers would go cheap with a "clip show" or two per year that rehased old content. "Bobby got in an accident and may die, let's look at everything Bobby did last year." It was boring and manipulative then, and the same today.

I'll stick to new content rather than re-runs. By not watching, the person in charge has no reason to have a job and may get laid off. Cheers!

Made it 16 seconds in. Interestingly, that's as far as I typically get with an SNL video clip. Was that SNL?

Sorry. I watched the first few seconds. Weird.

You're not the boss of me, so I watched. The whole thing.

Corporate Uplift at its most egregious.

This reminds me of the way the do car or truck ads on tv now when you watch football games. I just look away after 10 seconds. I made it through 40 seconds of this.

The herd mentality of pop-singer worship is a phenomenon I find nuzzieating.

Your terms are acceptable.

I watched the whole thing. Out of all that ... stuff, I had seen just the Alcaraz-Sinner match. Which was truly great.

But what was the purpose of the video? (That's a serious question.)

Pornhub provides a similar summary for its clients. Definitely don't look at mine. CC, JSM

I didn't see much I recognized until about two minutes in, when they started showing the disaster aftermath in places like California and Texas. Very little of it was anything I searched for in 2025.

Charlie Kirk was the number one name search, eclipsing everybody else by a lot.

If you really didn't want us to watch, you could have summarized the content. As it was, the post was an invitation to watch. It seemed like the sort of thing that Steve Jobs's Apple was doing for years.

But had I known that this was the Year of Gaga or that the Women's Cricket World Cup was going on, I would have done so many things differently.

Like with my mother's "don't touch that stove" my hands got a tad bit burned.

Ok, so I watched - "you're not the boss of me!" - and ... meh. Nothing there that hasn't happened millions of times before, including disasters. Indeed, an uneventful year (globally speaking) just like many others.

Althouse warned me, but I clicked anyway to my eternal regret.

It was Lady Gaga's year. I had no idea. Yay. I cant remember already, did Taylor have her arms signaling touchdown?

They covered all the bases.

That was great, Watched it twice, favorited/bookmarked.
Even better at 3/4 speed.
Prob wouldn't appeal to geezers.

My impression of Lady GaGa is that I hadn't heard her name at all in years (and I am a fan from her start).

And don’t think of an elephant while you do.

I clicked and I felt I was watching that Jaguar commercial. Supposed to be appealing. So not. Because it was either dated or glitzy.

I cant remember if there was any golf, NFL or MLB. Should I watch it again to see if Scottie made the cut? Who googles tennis and female cricketry but not golf, NFL or MLB stuff? If I want the golfNFLMLB stuff I head over to espn.

I could only take 30 seconds…

“Race of doom
Race of doom

Is it on, is it off, reply
Is it on, is it off, reply
Is it on, is it off, reply

It's a matter of time
It's a matter of luck
It's a matter of chance
'Til we self-destruct…”

He was my high school gym teacher. And baseball and basketball coach.

I watched about ten seconds of that video in spite of being warned off. Am peeved because I haven't gotten the annual Spotify review of my listening history. This year they are inventing and assigning a 'listening age' e.g. I listen to the sort of music 13 year olds listen to. Pft. But my interest is piqued.

I did not click. But I did read these comments, quickly, figuring I'd get the gist. I think it likely I did get the gist but just barely. In all fairness to myself, right now I'm sitting on the toilet.

Reminds me of the Soupy Sales show with the cork in the wall and a sign that said, “do not remove.”
