If Calunicornia was a state that had its affairs in order, Gavin Newsom would be getting a prison sentence, not starting a lengthy campaign for the 2028 election.

Nice composition on photo #2. Not that there's anything wrong with the others. Brava, Althouse.

Michelle Obama’s book The Look is sliding down the Amazon Best Sellers list - currently at #49, which is surprising. Mirroring her recent interviews, the book is “laced with a clear undercurrent of unresolved hurt over the ‘less grace’ afforded to her family compared to predecessors.” Maybe that attitude is what’s hurting sales.
Kamala Harris’s book 107 Days is at #254. It had a good run.

Why do they do these stupid things

So it looks like Trump's 28 point peace plan = Ukraine capitulate to Russia and Russia capitulate to the United States.

In other words, it's going nowhere.

What does MAGA or America First think about Islamists killing Christians in mass in Nigeria?
I know we have a lot of problems in America and people are struggling financially. Can't we somehow kick some Muslim ass in Nigeria and still be MAGA and/or America First?

Cheers amigos.

It’s been reported by Reuters that MTG will resign from Congress Jan 5.

^^^^^ Great news.

“It’s been reported by Reuters that MTG will resign from Congress Jan 5”

Oh that’s too bad, just when she was beginning to show her better side.

JRoberts said...

MTG is resigning so she can focus all her attention on tracking Israel’s “super secret space lasers” that were used to start California wildfires.

It’s good to see the Republicans hold their “kookier” members accountable. If only the Dems had the courage to do the same.

JRoberts said...

MTG’s district is +19 Republican and, right or wrong, very supportive of Trump. Given MTG’s recent words and actions, I imagine many of her constituents were preparing tar and feathers for her next return to her district.

Humperdink said...

MTG was angling for the annual nutcase award in congress but she couldn’t hold a candle to Jazzie Crockett.

“I said a Jeffrey Epstein, not the Jeffrey Epstein.” Well alrighty then!

Dems are idiots. Just watched a youtube video where Trump was blamed for property tax increases in Chicago.

MTG. Another shiny ball I have ignored.

"Another shiny ball I have ignored."

You could ask Inga. No doubt, she's an expert on the topic.

The thing with Inga is, you never have to ask.

Many people will remember Marjorie Taylor Greene for spreading asinine conspiracy theories and degrading our political discourse in every imaginable way. But I will remember her for her civility.

I just found out that last night I fell for a hoax. Federal judge Dabney Friedrich did not issue an injunction blocking the Trump administration from power-washing the Exdcutive Office Building. The report had been published by a hitherto reliable source. I’ll be double checking his info in the future.

News: Marjorie Taylor Greene resigning from Congress

Peachy said...

The Corrupt Democrat Media Industrial Complex would like you to forget the Biden Era Reality.

Aggie said...

What happens to MTG's seat, when she vacates? How is it filled before midterms? It isn't:

"Greene's resignation will narrow the Republican majority in the House to 218 members over the Democrats' 213. Republicans have a 53-47 majority in the Senate."

She's going on and on about 'refusing to be a Republican 'battered wife' taking Trump’s abuse' and so on.

But she could simply serve out her term and be dedicated to her constituents, if it's a 'hostile primary' she's worried about? Hmm. Oh no - aaaanyway.....

I have been torturing my cat with a laser pointer. Or, I have been amusing my cat with a laser pointer. It is really amazing how determined cats are to catch that little dot of light. It is simply not within the possibilities of their kitty-kat minds to recognize that there is no material object associated with the dot.

This makes me wonder; what if you took a bunch of kittens, and divided them into two groups. One group gets very frequent laser dots to chase. The other does not. Will they develop differently? Will their brains be physically different?

Well, OK, you're right, that would be cruel. So, let's do it with children instead. We'll give some of them little devices that continually zap their brains with stimuli they can't really understand, but respond to maximally. And the control group will not be subjected to this.

Everyone on board?

It's encouraging MAGA is adopting the circular firing squad style of politics typical of the Progressives. I look forward to more of this.

Jupiter said...

They (they?) actually did this with rats. There are certain parts of a rat's brain that process the stimuli from their whiskers. So, they took a bunch of baby rats, and shaved off their whiskers on one side. And the parts of the brain that would have processed the sensory impressions from those whiskers never developed.

The parts of a rat's brain that process the stimuli from his left whiskers are on the right side. The nerves criss-cross. This is also true of optical processing, in rats, and also in humans. The right side of your optical cortex processes the sensory input from your left eye. Why? Well. Why not?

Jupiter said...

Presumably, if evolution had been given the option, of two sets of mammals, one with crossed neural pathways, and the other with uncrossed neural pathways, evolution would have chosen the latter. Because their reaction time would be slightly faster.

But that didn't happen. Evolution got the full mammal package, crossed neural pathways and all, take it or leave it. Best I can do. And evolution said, "Cool, whatever. Works for me."
