"When I saw her in that dress, it stopped being cold for me. It was magical."

Said the groom, quoted in "Finding Happily Ever After in a Snowstorm in June/After their wedding was spotted on a webcam, pictures of Jamie and Chris DeBruhl getting married at a mountain resort in Montana spread quickly online" (NYT)(free-access link, so you can see the photos, with the bare-shouldered bride in the snow).

Very romantic to be married on a mountain top!

He should have offered her his coat.

Snow in June. As a Texan, hard to relate.

I got the same sensation seeing my bride in her dress, but it was a nice day in Vegas. I think it is the pure joy giving that “glow”, and to then see her eyes sparkling. It really has nothing to do with the weather. Still, their photos look great. Like a real life snow globe.

Very nice photo -- and unique because it was done without filters. Reminds me of that recent other wedding photo with the tornado (real) in the background.

How long before a couple tries to top this on a higher mountain?

I once watched an outdoor wedding at Deer Valley, Utah, that had a similarly heavy snowfall taking place all through the ceremony. It was in March and the participants and guests came prepared, including a white fur coat for the bride.

Unquestionably the most memorable wedding I ever saw, and I assume the same was true for most or all of the guests.

Get married on top of Everest. Without oxygen bottles.
