If you were from where I'm from
Then you would know
That I gotta get mine in a big black truck
You can get yours in a '64
Whatever it is, the party's underway
So tip up your cup and throw your hands up
And let me hear the party say
I'm kinda buzzed, it's all because
(This is how we do it)
North Central does it like nobody does
(This is how we do it)

A prostitute and a late night talk show host is damn pretty hilarious! Tell me you didn't laugh at that? That's a Trump-level insult. MSNBC can't pull that off.

Trump versus the North Korean media is the celebrity beef we need!

She does echo Inga.

That was pretty good.

That was some pretty good trash talkin’. The expensive prostitute thing was actually funny. Vicious but funny.

I haven't heard the phrase "capitalist pigs" in a long time, thanks for the memory!

I didn't listen all the way through, so if the phrase "imperialist running dogs" was in there somewhere, I'll have to go back and do the whole thing.

Does the Cold War count?

So, pretty much like the left leaning commenters here.

That's more like -- news from the No Kings Front.

Better than MSNBC's text for its newsreaders.

Jersey fled,

I think a case can be made at the US did not win the Cold War ; rather that the Soviets withdrew from the field of armed conflict and let subversion finish the task.

Oil Tanker collision in the Straits of Hormuz, at least one tanker burning.

" ......In the early morning hours of Tuesday, crude oil tankers Adalynn and Front Eagle collided in the Gulf of Oman, about 24 nautical miles east of Khor Fakkan in the United Arab Emirates, just outside the critical Strait of Hormuz chokepoint. The maritime incident occurred amid ongoing regional instability and increased GPS signal degradation, most likely linked to broader electronic warfare surrounding the Israel-Iran conflict.......The Adalynn, a 23-year-old Antigua and Barbuda-flagged tanker with no known insurance and a history of Russia-India sailing routes, may be part of Moscow's 'dark fleet.'..."

DPRK news pretty much represents the views of the Democrats and their Legacy Media. Defamation laws are the only difference.

I haven't seen the word "vainglorious" since the first time I read the Big Book of AA.

I used to enjoy listening to Soviet shortwave radio broadcast about the "imperialist running dogs" or some such. This brings back memories. It also sounds a lot like left leaning X posters these days.

Top notch humor.
China defeated Tibet in 1950. The 1962 Sino-India war ended status quo ante bellum.
And the US beat Grenada, I recall.

Nor have we fought a war since we defeated Japan in 45.

In his book "Parkinson's Law" (or maybe "The Law and the Profits"?) C Northcote Parkinson points out that the battle of Waterloo was planned in the pokey Horse Guards building. Then Royal Army HQ but that the fiasco of Gallipoli was planned in the fancy building that replaced it.

I forget whether Parkinson said it or someone was referencing him but I have seen it pointed out that the US has not won a war since the Pentagon was built. (Korea, VN, Balkans, Iraq)

We have also not been as well served by the Department of Defense (est 1947) as we used to be by the Department of War (Est 1789)

Technically no wars since Congress has never declared one since 1941

Apparently, August 9, 1945 never happened. Just like July 20, 1969.

Imagine being active duty and told to miss Father’s Day weekend so the president can fall asleep while you perform for his birthday.
