I see "RFK Jr. gives opening statements, gets interrupted by protesters at Senate hearing," and one of the protesters is Ben Cohen, the ice cream mogul.
Why would Cohen think this is a good place to insert himself? I would think ice cream is one of the top reasons for the obesity crisis in America. Where does he come off thinking he can pose as an exemplar of virtue against RFK Jr.?

I'm not seeing a look of terror. I slowed the tape all the way down to 25% and his face doesn't show any fear. He does have an overall physical startle reaction, though. But so do other people in the room.
Slight tangent: Is he drinking an iced tea? I never noticed any congressional witnesses bringing in their own drinks. I would have a Nalgene bottle full of gin!

I see terror in a very brief moment — a jerk or shudder. I think he is a courageous man and am in no way suggesting he's generally fearful. Clearly, he is not. But he is a man who has experienced sudden violence and knows deep in his nervous system that everything can be taken away in an instant.

This is the problem you run into when you call something that isn't a vaccine, a 'vaccine' - by stealthily changing a medically-based definition to include a therapeutic. My sister, an RN, often reminds me that physicians know their specialty, but they don't know as much about the drugs they prescribe as, say, a pharmacist. MY PA is an ardent Trump supporter and recommends vaccines for me, including the ones for Covid. I'm in a risk group, so I follow his advice. I also know his educational background and trust that he's done his own research and isn't just believing what a pharma rep tells him. Maybe RFK is a nut, but some skepticism about this stuff isn't a bad thing.

He questions the amount of childhood vaccinations and he questions why some vaccinations that have been discontinued in Europe are still given here. He also noticed the release of liability for the drug manufacturers corresponded with the increase of childhood vaccines.
It does make one wonder why they don't insist upon ID checks for allowing entry into hearings. Then you can start making lists of people whose behavior excludes them as a consequence. Which could be extended as required to include membership in groups - since we already live in an Orwellian surveillance state that knows everything about everybody. Aggie: Code Pink has disrupted many Congressional hearings with no consequences. Their leaders are famous, and everyone knows what they look like. It's likely that they get in by being sponsored by a Senator or Congresscritter. No consequences for them, either, when they bring in guests whom they know will disrupt and shout down our elected representatives.
It is likely that someone on that committee helped the protesters get in.

I had someone in my family with the same dysphonia condition, and oddly enough, one of my best high school teachers had it too, from a war injury.
They treat it nowadays with direct injections of Botox, but it has only a temporary effect, and it also is less effective on subsequent injections, if I recall correctly. My family member was known for his ability to wax eloquent, and I mean really really eloquent, in a completely extemporaneous way, on any occasion - he was Oxford-educated. So the condition was especially devastating to him on a personal level, as it is for someone like Kennedy, I'm sure.
@TinaTrent, this is one of my many points about having a majority in Congress, but not making good use of it. It seems to me the Republicans are in a position to write the d*mn rules when they run the hearings, yet they don't, allowing this kind of disruption instead.
If the House leadership knows who these toads are, why aren't they seating them in a special section and surrounding them with goons? Anyone from Code Pink should be preemptively treated to an elbow smash when they first jump up out of their seat. Do it once, end it forever.

I doubt that he's ever really considered the health implications of his ice cream. (Aside from patting himself on the back for having a few flavors of lower fat, gluten free and non-dairy ice cream.)

They removed their daytime pink velvet protest vagina-outfits and returned night after night to disrupt things inside the main hall. Don't ask me how or why. I don't know. Hell, I was following these Noriega-sponsored terrorists all day long as they attacked police on the streets of Tampa, and at night I'd watch them on tv, shrieking from inside the GOP convention.
