There are a lot of people who think we're not being manipulated. I don't understand, anymore, how anyone could think that, but surely we all know people who still believe the news media is (are?) reflexively truthful, that anything emanating from government (except maybe the IRS) is for our own good and/or the product of the best and most efficient way to get things done (a la the Manhattan Project and NASA), and that, really, it was only a handful of people who noticed, just this past summer or so, that Biden had - what's the term? - "lost a step" and were motivated only by the Good of the Nation, not by their desire to maintain their own power and position, to try to keep him on as candidate while they figured out how to invoke the 25th and get a compos mentis Democrat into the Oval Office.

There is an easy test for this: Are you under a greater or lesser level of control today, compared to any arbitrary previous date in your adult life - say, the year 2000? I suspect that the cumulative intent of any of societal change post-Korean war is to establish ever greater control over the populace, one way or the other, intentionally or otherwise. Human nature of the modern man is to seek public order with governance, for the greater good - and the nature of governance is to always increase its scope and reach.
Unlike me, lots of people find conspiracy theories entertaining (cf: UFOs, JFK assassian books/movies, etc.) and I agree with weinstein that much of this deliberate. Talking about "Drones in NJ" or going a rabbit hole about 3 terrorists all being at Fort Bragg at the same time, may be fun but its a waste of time.

The Las Vegas suicide had a very different view of the drones. Despite the Ft Bragg connection, he was the opposite of the New Orleans terrorist. If his emailed letter is truthful, he did his version of the Buddhist self-immolation (at least in part) to try to alert the country to the threat from the drones. I wish it were just Deep State boneheads, but I think the deceased's message is much more likely to be true.
It would be interesting if the government conspiracy was to get us believing in silly conspiracy theories to distract from the government's real conspiracy, but since all conspiracy theories tend to lead back to the government being behind everything, would that strategy be counterproductive?
Maybe, but people are going to be angry at the government anyway, and if they are angry at the government for holding back UFO information and technology, it keeps them from being so angry about other things the government has been doing.

I think that's true, but only to the extent that you are paying enough attention to know why the expectorate was launched. If you are paying attention, it's subtle as a falling safe.

I don't mind conspiracy theories so long as they're in fact presented as THEORIES, not fact. Unfortunately, it seems that attention-seekers on the internet have decided the only way to make a splash is to state unproven theories and speculations as they're obvious facts that one would have to be evil and/or stupid not to recognize as such. We even see that here all the time, e.g., people casually asserting that Epstein was "assassinated," as if that has been definitively proven. Where's the intellectual humility? Do people really think they can glean a half-dozen facts concerning the NOLA and LV incidents and, just from that information, definitively state that there was some overarching government/ISIS/alien conspiracy that connected them?

A little thought will show you that the world is an interlacing network of billions of conspiracies. There are undoubtedly vastly more of them than anyone can possibly be aware of. The use of "conspiracy theory", as a pejorative term, was spread by journalists paid by the CIA. It was part of a larger effort to control public perceptions, called "Project Mockingbird". You can look it up. And yes, this is a conspiracy theory.
Mr. Maynard, I just re-read that tweet. Maybe you're right. It is not crazy and delusional bologna about secret plots by some unknown and malevolent actors. Strong evidence that he was Massad, and, thus, likely her. Epstein’s funding had to have come from somewhere, and either he, or Massad, was the likely source. Maybe someday we will find out.
