Remember when in 2020, Biden ran on the platform of outlawing internal combustion engines by 2030? Me neither, but he did it for us anyway! God bless Joe Biden! Imagine the surprises Harris has in store for us!

Tim Walz says, "Hold my beer." No doubt, it's another missing apostrophe or stutter.

"That guy, that gay guy," Walz said of Musk while talking about taxes on the campaign trail in Michigan.

"The news isn’t October only adding 12,000 jobs.

The news is that the private sector lost 28,000 jobs!

Yes, all 12,000 jobs added in October are in the public sector. In other words, government jobs."

They lie to us about EVERYTHING.

Wendybar. Slight math problem. Total government jobs is 40k. 12k net plus the 28k lost in private would mean 40k of new government jobs.

Ahead of one of America's most polarizing presidential elections, a new poll reveals the Democrat-favored catchphrase that may be turning Latino voters toward Republicans. The term 'Latinx', often used by liberals, is used as a gender-neutral term to refer to people of Latin American descent or cultural identity. New research suggests that not only do many Latinos dislike the word, the term itself may even be pushing them to vote for Donald Trump. - UK Telegraph

Nobody likes a scold. The Democrats have become the party of scolds.

A guy that routinely comes running out on stage from his closeted position, flapping his arms, pansy-slapping his heart, pointing to imaginary acquaintances, and mincing back and forth with that Boston Terrier face of his doesn’t have much credibility when he accuses others.

@Wendybar, the numbers are a bit worse than that. The net of + 12,000 is composed of a net 40,000 government jobs offset by a net negative 28,000 private sector jobs. Why we should be losing jobs when the private sector should be spooling up for the holiday season has not been explained. Also not explained is what we are going to do when there are more gov’t jobs than we can collect taxes to support.

And the usual spectacular photos that we are gifted with on a steady basis.

Coach Tim's habits die hard: shaming a player by calling him gay (and taking obvious delight in the Michigan crowd's reaction) is who he is.

Well, of course at that point, there will be layoffs of government workers and cuts to retirement benefits for those remaining.

Or not. Your call.

Dixcus said...

There are ALREADY more government jobs than we can collect taxes to support. The US government runs an almost $2 trillion annual deficit.

What happens is the Treasury prints money. They don't care if your loaf of bread costs $8 and a dozen eggs costs $6 and gas is $5.75 a gallon. They get THEIRS.

LO f*g L. Where did they learn that trick? The Chinese stopped supplying US military drone makers with parts. You know who said that we shouldn't be exporting all of our strategic manufacturing to China? Donald John Trump, that's who.

Whoever wins the White House next week will take office with no shortage of challenges, but at least one huge asset: an economy that is putting its peers to shame.

With another solid performance in the third quarter, the U.S. has grown 2.7% over the past year. It is outrunning every other major developed economy, not to mention its own historical growth rate.
- WSJ

Well our peers can't borrow four or five trillion dollars a year to keep their economies going, government spending goes into GDP, and European economies have been gut shot by the sanctions against Russia. Europe needs the raw materials that Russia has in abundance, and Russia can replace European manufacturing with Chinese manufacturing without breaking a sweat. So Europe lost the Russian market, which now looks to China for, among other things, automobiles, all due to sanctions, and Europe lost access to cheap Russian energy and other resources due to Biden's "Smoot Hawley Sanctions," as I call them.

Heck of a job Joe!

Stunningly beautiful photos.

I just finished reading Frankenstein by Mary Shelley yesterday (Halloween appropriately). An amazing novel. It is absolutely nothing like the movies and cartoons you may be familiar with. It is pure Gothic horror at its highest form. It will keep you up at night thinking about it. Shelley was only 18 years old when she started writing it. But I guess if you are married to Percy Shelley and go out drinking and partying with Lord Byron then some of that genius would rub off on you. I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed. Trust me.

“BREAKING: Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes (D) is now INVESTIGATING Trump over his comments about Liz Cheney. She says he can be charged with a misdemeanor and/or a felony.
This is all based on the Left purposely misrepresenting Trump’s words.”
Democrats - is this really what you want for our country?
The best way to fix your party is to vote Trump. The Democrat Party can’t be rewarded for this kind of behavior.

I believe the Democrats will succeed in stealing the election, but the fraud awareness this time is orders of magnitude greater than in 2020. Even the apolitical talk about Democrat fraud like it’s a given. It’ll be interesting to see how things play out.

Over half of Democrats are concerned (that there won't be enough fraud, no doubt), so there's that.

@Iohn Henry, in case you wander past this thread, please tell me that Puerto Rico is not as trashy as that comedian suggests. Later this winter the wife and I have planned a 50th anniversary trip to a hotel on Condado Beach. We’ve booked a sightseeing excursion to historical old San Juan, including Fort San Cristobal and El Morro. Also another day trip to El Yunque forest. Any other sightseeing trips you’d advise us to try to take? And is the beach okay for swimming? Of should we stay by the hotel pool? Your advice would be appreciated.

At the end we will board a small ship (not. one of those 4000-5000 passenger cruise ships) and see some of the Leeward Islands, like Tortola, St. Thomas, and St John, among others.

2024
The State of Wisconsin had 3,658,236 active registered voters on November 1, 2024.
The State of Wisconsin had 3,555,545 active registered voters on October 1, 2024
The State of Wisconsin had 3,503,706 active registered voters on September 1, 2024
The State of Wisconsin had 3,456,732 active registered voters on August 1, 2024

All from:
https://elections.wi.gov/statistics-data/voter-registration-statistics

The state has added approximately 200,000 registered voters between August 1 and November 1 2024. It added 100,000 of those voters between October 1 and November 1 2024. The same thing happened in 2020 . And Wisconsin added 130,000 more on Election Day 2020. This year Wisconsin has about 18,000 fewer voters registered on November 1 than in 2020. Milwaukee City has lost about that amount of population so that may be the explanation.

2020
The State of Wisconsin had 3,811,193 active registered voters on December 1, 2020.

Musk tweeted (x'd?) that it would be great to have Ron Paul as part of the Department of Government Efficiency. Paul tweeted back that he'd be happy to talk about it.

The people the Trump/Vance team are attracting certainly come from a broad spectrum of political ideologies.

“I get so angry. I’m up here seething. I’m seething. I’m working my ass off with this stupid mic. I’m blowing out my left arm, now I’m going to blow out my right arm, and I’m blowing out my damn throat too, because these stupid people. I’ll make you a deal. Pretend you’re listening to it perfectly and I’ll come back and do another one, OK?” he added, slamming the microphone against the podium.”
