"Happy Thanksgiving to all, including to the Radical Left Lunatics who have worked so hard to destroy our Country, but who have miserably failed, and will always fail..."

"... because their ideas and policies are so hopelessly bad that the great people of our Nation just gave a landslide victory to those who want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! Don’t worry, our Country will soon be respected, productive, fair, and strong, and you will be, more than ever before, proud to be an American!"

Tweets Donald Trump.

Happy Thanksgiving to Althouse and Meade, my second favorite Madison residents. Remember to pace yourself. No pie before turkey.

Don’t ever change, Donald Trump. We do love you so.

Perfect. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your bipartisan, non partisan administration. Stay safe!

…now off to family for a lovely visit with no left lunatics in sight, then eating the unpardoned…

I get why Trump's tweets don't appeal to everyone, but I find him hilarious.

Aren't you the guy that used to criticize his behavior?

Neither the globalist nor Muslims will respect what most people want - Leaving us alone.

We want the happiness that comes with freedom FROM government (and Islam is itself a form of totalitarian government). We want the leave-me-alone wisdom of Brandeis as expressed in Olmstead v. US (1928),

“The makers of our Constitution undertook to secure conditions favorable to the pursuit of happiness. They recognized the significance of man’s spiritual nature, of his feelings and of his intellect. They knew that only part of the pain, pleasure and satisfactions of life are to be found in material things. They sought to protect Americans in their beliefs, their thoughts, their emotions and their sensations. They conferred against the government, the right to be let alone—the most comprehensive of rights and the right most valued by civilized men.”

From time to time, I have. He walked into an obvious trap on January 6 and I was very critical of him. Trump’s not perfect and, in America, we are free to criticize our leaders. Thankful for Free Speech and the Althouse blog.

^ I've crossed swords with Dave Begley many times. Disagree with him a lot. Never once has he told me to shut up or tried to denegrate my commentary. We aren't on the same page politically, but he is on the same side of the Free Speech issue as we should all be.

You've seen me be VERY critical of the Democrats, and you might think I'm a Trumper to the core, but I see a LOT of negative issues so far in Trump's second presidency - starting with his poor hiring decisions. I will be the first person here to criticize him when he warrants criticism.

I aim to be a thorn in his side if he doesn't do what he was elected by US to do FOR us. It's not about Donald Trump. It's about US.

Look across the pond at what the UK is doing to its citizens. Having disarmed them first, they now jail you for merely praying silently in the street. America came THIS CLOSE to that crap and would have led to a 2nd American Revolution.

The best thing we can do for people is to reduce the importance of health insurance and focus on improving health care instead. Right now insurance coverage is very high but actual health care is crap.

Stupid people like Dinky don't understand why this is a problem much less how to fix it.

Discus:

I’ve seen bits and pieces of what is going on in the U.K. and I can’t hardly believe it. Judges sending people to jail for expressing opinions! That’s a failed culture and doomed to get worse.

RideSpaceMountain said...

It couldn't have been better had Trump called them turkeys, and that he "pardons" them.

Mason G said...

"Respected, productive, fair, and strong"? I could see that happening.

"You will be, more than ever before, proud to be an American!" Not the left. They hate the country right now, and they're the ones currently in charge.

He walked into an obvious trap on January 6

…well in hindsight it certainly was but don’t the best traps have options for whatever he does or doesn't do? He’s entitled to explore options as President, or at least he’s supposed to be entitled to explore options.

From the web: “A Thanksgiving Prayer For the Simple Things”

“Thank you, God,
for all your blessings to me and my family
for the strength you give me each day,
and for all the people who make life more meaningful. Amen.”

I want to ask our hostess Althouse if can get AI to write a thanksgiving prayer from scratch. I’m curious to see what it would come up with.

I see the Bad Orange Man's "tweet" or X message today and I say Right On! I'm looking forward to four years for the normies among us. It'll be peaceful, but the ankle biters will continue to bite. This time however they don't hold the reins of government and the DOJ.

Watch the recent Marc Andreessen-Joe Rogan program on YouTube. It really helps give the appropriate impression of what the Biden administration - and the Left in general - are all about. With this last election, America dodged a nuke if Andreessen’s allegations are true… and I have no reason to believe they aren’t true.

These fucking people are traitorous Commies.

Trump's place in history is as the guy who called out political correctness for severe dysfunction and hypocrisy, and who rightly said the emperor had no clothes. He will not be remembered for class, dignity, and respectfulness.

They should also pay an excise income tax. Obesity is a CHOICE. Why should I have to send my kids inheritance to Uncle Sam (Medicaid and Medicare) top pay for all these people's insane medical care costs, because these people CHOSE to be fat gross gluttons? Penalize sin and there will be less of it.

I, for one, had only one failure this Thanksgiving. I sent a video of an Estes Park Elk to the wrong relative amid mass texting of holiday greetings. They were amused. If family can overlook an entire erroneous Elk delivery, political discussions are no issue. I corrected my mistake and sent the correct video of an adopted Lynx, and all was well.

Gotta luv a message of unity. It would be nice if Trump could be magnanimous for once.

Through impeachments, indictments, conspiracies, and attempted murder(s), we know that Trump will still be President. Happy Thanksgiving!

Below is a free link to the NYTimes article that says the Democrat party's problems was that they didn't have enough paid social media influencers. And that Trump had too many who support him. They complain they don't have their own Joe Rogan, ignoring that fact that Joe Rogan WAS a Democrat until they moved so far left that they left him behind.

I'm just glad "mean tweets" are back! Trump is his own social media influencer. Neither Harris nor any of the Democrat politicians have what he has.
