(This gets my "monsters" tag, because that is a werewolf.)Personally lobbied for this sticker with my City Clerk. If there is ever a year to have an unhinged werewolf ripping its shirt off as the “I Voted” sticker…it’s 2024. https://t.co/ZIXxBYMDuk pic.twitter.com/swyb5ok3xO

ADDED: Was there no pushback over what could be perceived as a reference to Hulk Hogan at the Republican National Convention?

I refuse to wear the stupid virtue signal sticker. Ridiculous.
Guess you could be like Tampon Tim; wear the sticker, and skip the voting part.
Cringe besidea a michigan vote is like monopoly money its not real
The 2020 election was shamelessly and openly sabotaged and rigged. The sabotage and rigging are even more flagrant in 2024. Although I hate to dignify this humiliating farce, I’ll probably go out and vote for Trump. I do mean humiliating. The Politburo style nomination of a non-entity like Harris is intended to humiliate us with our helplessness.
I like the fish. Give a man a vote, liberate him for a day. Teach a man to vote, liberate him for a lifetime.
Dr David Banner is a mild-mannered man until he is pricked twice too often by Democratic schemes that turn him into the green Hulk that crossed the partisan road.
How old were the artists? Was this a cute school thing?
Where is Votey McVoteFace? I'm guessing the entries were screened. I would certainly have voted for Votey McV.
Here in Austin, if you vote early you get a sticker with a flag and text reading "I voted early." And if you vote on election day, you get one that reads, "I voted." Nothing fancy in the design, just US flag and text on an oval. Still, the validation and affirmation of a sticker makes the act of voting for one or the other of the available candidates slightly more endurable. I'd prefer banana stickers, a la Metalocalypse, but hey, you gotta earn those. Or buy them yourself.
Based Metalocalypse enjoyer.
Two ways to look at this. One, not of lot of interest in the Michigan Secretary of State push to Get Out the Vote (GOTV) this year, so these are the only options to choose. Two, this is the best of Michigan and what they are able to produce.
Now checked the website for Michigan SoS: https://www.michigan.gov/sos/resources/news/2024/09/04/secretary-benson-announces-2024-i-voted-sticker-design-contest-winners
I like Katelyn Stouffer's design for proper patriotism and narcissism that drives people to wear the sticker.
To answer Althouse, I think no pushback, because it was children designs (maybe a "using children in politics" tag?) and only 480 student participants at that. It seems a selection of college students narrowed the 480 to the top 25, and then 57,700 votes submitted. If they were trying to avoid referencing Hulk Hogan, well Michelle Lekhtman got Randy "Macho Man" Savage in the mix too.
I like to show up at the polls wearing multiple "I Voted" stickers.
I'm going to get a bunch of "I Voted" stickers, and place them on grave stones around Wisconsin.
I found the "unhinged werewolf ripping its shirt off" reminiscent of Manbearpig from South Park https://allspecies.fandom.com/wiki/Manbearpig
I want to have a pin that says "I Farted, Too."
how about.. instead of a sticker you can remove (and replace with another (and another (and another))).. We dye people's index finger?
You know? like countries with actual democratic elections too?
we NEED to Stop Trump from Stealing ANOTHER ELECTION..
and, the Only way to do this is: VOTER ID!

Did any of the design with an animal have a sheep?
Dude was probably thinking of Walz meekly tearing open his shirt during the DNC. That shit happened right?
They should have one with a drawing they have on the freeway signs near the CA border showing a family of illegals dodging cars, with the words, "Voté 10 veces" (I voted 10 times) to honor their contribution to the takeover.
The fourth sticker can only be won by Harris voters.
About 10 years ago, Chicago did a similar kids’contest to design its city vehicle tax windshield sticker.
The winning cherub drew a salute to first responders, with symbols of fire, police, and EMS, and some hands of various skintones raised in, one supposes, salute?
Turned out the hands were throwing signs of the leading street gangs, and the honor student was a second-generation banger.
By the time the city finally listened to cops and other gang experts, the stickers had already been printed and installed on hundreds of cars.

I have been voting for 40 something years, both in Connecticut and in New Jersey and I have yet to ever be offered a sticker, or seen anybody in my town wearing one. Not that I would, but I wonder why??
Maybe a "Mailed It In / Harris 2024" sticker? It would work for the campaign and voting.
They should do the election ink on your finger so people can't vote more than once, and get rid of the mail in voting except for service members or handicapped
the women of the country will ensure Kamala Harris is the next president of the United States. The country realizes trump is way too old and senile for the position. There will not be a 2x impeached, convicted felon, court adjudicated sexual abuser and fraud be president of these great United States. The women will send this pathetic old man away check back in 2 months the writing is on the wall. The US has conquered worse things than trump in its 200+ years, its a no brainer
Obviously, these are aimed at getting younger people to vote, and younger people vote Democrat.
In PA, they're using taxpayer funds to increase registration efforts on college campuses. College kids vote Democrat.
All of the "nonprofit" Voter Information Project ads in my area exclusively feature black voters, who vote heavily Democrat.
Haven't seen any I VOTED for farmers, plumbers, hunters or older folks. I guess the one with the fish counts as "rural."
I’d like one that read “I Voted… Legally”
There was no pushback because the Democrats really believe they are the werewolves in this election.
One time when he was little, my son went with me to vote. After I was done, he said, apropos of nothing, "I want to go home; this is an awful place." I had to agree.
Voting is a civic duty. So rewarding the good eggs with gold stars is a nice gesture. Rebels who refuse to vote for the best candidate do not really impress me as being virtuous.
WALKER 1: Hey, where’s your ribbon?
KRAMER: I don’t wear one.
WALKER 2: You don’t wear the ribbon? Aren’t you against AIDS?
KRAMER: Yeah, I’m against AIDS. I’m walking, aren’t I? I just don’t wear the ribbon.
WALKER 3: Who do you think you are?
WALKER 4: Put the ribbon on!
WALKER 2: Hey, Cedric, Bob. This guy won’t wear a ribbon.
BOB: Who? Who will not wear the ribbon?
In Michigan the sticker should have been a zombie crawling out of a grave to vote.
Werewolves of michigan
How about an "I took an 'I Voted' sticker"? It can have a picture of a sheep to mock the people who proudly display theirs.
I like the werewolf, he’s a closet republican, ripping the blue off to revel the red pumping through his veins.
I find the "I voted" stickers insulting, like I am a child. What happened to the whiskey barrel and a shot of whiskey?
Yeah this is Michigan, home state of Detroit, so there should have been at least one entry showing an 'R.I.P' gravestone saying, ' I Voted ! '
I got 99 problems and designing an 'I voted' sticker ain't one of them.
If there is no chain of custody no voter id
i voted nay
I heard they have good pot in Michigan. Pretty much confirms that.
I wonder how cats would vote compared to their cat ladies.
I VOTED this many times... with a wolf holding up all his paw pads.
ha.
Cats would write in their own names, of course. I'm sorry, who can be funny after Ride Space Mountain?
--- We dye people's index finger? You know? like countries with actual democratic elections too?
We have a ways to go to match the Iraqi elections, much less India's.
One good thing about living in Chicago is, it's not worth voting, it is a futile gesture.
Dissapearing comment syndrome strikes.
The 'I voted yay' sticker represents what? Cognitive challenge? Underage voters? The too old to think? They should have gone with 'Votey McVote Face.'
I am always offered an “I voted” sticker. My response for years has always been “Do I look like I am 10 years old?”
The person offering always looks offended.
I always used to like sticking that "I VOTED" on my lapel. I usually voted early (before work, because I could) and all day I thought I was encouraging people to perform a civic duty. But it was the LATE voters in west Florida who elected Bush, even after all the networks had called the election for What's-His-Name.
When one party (I won't name names) relies on "voters" who have no lapel on which to post a label (perhaps because they're DEAD) cast enough votes to select a President), then I DO worry where we as a democratic Nation are going.
Lots of stickers and Vote buttons here @ Sabo's Merch.

My partner got CalTrans to post those signs because we had a lot of illegals hit by cars and coming into our Trauma Center, 20 miles up the road.
Childish, sure, but it's a way of indicating participation in what's otherwise a rather grim, impersonal process.
I was tempted though, to take my "I Voted" sticker to the graveyard and stick in on one of the tombstones.
The purple fingers of pride don't stop mail-in ballot harvesting, which is how Harris will win this election. I received an invitation from The Voter Participation Center here in Austin, TX, to register to vote, despite being registered already. The voter registration for was mailed to "Current Resident" at my house, addressed with my street number and "Apartment 12." I have a single family residential house. Where did the other 11 numbered apartments' voter registration forms go, who to, and who collects and turns them in? How many more than 12 are there for my house's address? Hmmm.
