Very fine.

So, did anybody see the Lights last night? There was nothing going on here, that we could tell.

The birds who built a nest on a crook of our gutter downspout, under the eaves, turned out to be robins, and pregnant. In the last few days, we've seen the chicks go from scrawny heads barely reaching above the rim to fledglings venturing to the edge and stretching their wings. They grow up so fast.

RFKJr walked back his full term on abortion statement. Realized that a lot of the third term abortions are actually elective, not life-saving, and therefore shouldn’t trust women to make that type of choice. Huh.

So, I was driving when the passengers are conversing about a disliked roommate. The guy (with two girls) gives an example of why he doesn't like his roommate. "My team won the SEC Championship and he won't give me my flowers".

Urban Dictionary: "Giving someone their flowers is giving them their props or the recognition they deserve"

#Keeping up with GenZ.

Shoot. The power went out and I had the AC going less than an hour. Not long enough to cool off my room certainly. Went out and spoke with gathering neighbors. One joked she must’ve caused it because it happened shortly after she plugged in the car. I said, what do you have in the garage? A cyber truck? That was good for a chuckle.

Lindsey Graham reasons that since it was OK to nuke Hiroshima and Nagasaki to end WWII, Israel has every right to flatten Gaza to end Palestine once and for all time.

Um, so our "Macho, Macho Man" has not figured out that the nuclear fallout would take out much of Israel as well.

If Israel and Ukraine could buy cheap American weapons from Afghanistan, what has prevented that from happening before now?

9 years ago this week.....Clintonista George Snufalufagus refused to disclose his big dollar contributions to the Clinton Foundation at the same time he used ABC’s airwaves in an attempt to discredit an anti-Clinton author, an obvious favor to the just-launched Hillary Clinton 2016 presidential campaign. WHY is he still there, spewing lies, hate and division today??

gadfly the Hopeless: "If Israel and Ukraine could buy cheap American weapons from Afghanistan, what has prevented that from happening before now?"

Your complete and utter lack of military service, understanding of military operations, world arms market etc., means even your moronic questions that fall into the above areas metaphorically explode with stupidity.

Just stick with raising your 20 or whatever number of cats li'l guy. This one isn't for you.

If a few of Biden’s donors are supporting the pro-Hamas protests, it makes sense that Biden has to support Hamas. He needs their money. I note Obama and Clinton are still fundraising alongside Joe. Are they tied to the pro-Hamas effort, too? Seems so to me. Not surprised about Obama, but am surprised about Clinton.

It’ll be interesting to watch who stands with Joe from a fundraising pov from here.

@narcisco, when gadfly/Gadfly is lurking about be sure to use “/sarc” because — like Snopes — he has trouble grasping the concept that Babylon Bee is a satirical website.

No, dumb dumb, He is equating the complete and total annihilation of the enemy. That is what Israel must do to hamas/palistine. Nukes not required.

Via Scott Johnson @ PowerLine Senator Tom Cotton faces off with DNC media adjunct Margret Brennan on CBS's (De)Face the Nation over WaPo reports that the Biden administration is withholding intelligence from Israel, potentially including the location of US citizens being held hostage as human shields.

MARGARET BRENNAN: You just heard Secretary Blinken explain the administration’s policy. He says Hamas absolutely does not abide by international law. Israel is inconsistent with international humanitarian law, but he stopped short of saying they’re violating weapons-sharing agreements.

Does this make sense to you?

SENATOR TOM COTTON: No, it doesn’t make any sense at all, Margaret.

It sounded like a bunch of weaselly, mealymouthed politics. He said it’s reasonable to assess.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Mm-hmm.

SENATOR TOM COTTON: He said that like three or four times. It’s like he was coached to say that, as if it was some magic talisman to help them walk the political line they want between the pro-Hamas wing of their party and the vast pro-Israel majority of the American people.

The report that they put out Friday night, after news deadlines passed, was very clear. There is no evidence that Israel is violating international law. All civilian casualties in Gaza are solely the responsibility of Hamas.

In fact, Israel’s probably doing more than any military in history to avoid civilian casualties.

Quote from the WaPo report by Mr Johnson.

The Biden administration, working urgently to stave off a full-scale Israeli invasion of Rafah, is offering Israel valuable assistance in an effort to persuade it to hold back, including sensitive intelligence to help the Israeli military pinpoint the location of Hamas leaders and find the group’s hidden tunnels, according to four people familiar with the U.S. offers.

Paraphrasing Glenn Reynold, the Biden (aka Hussein Obama's) administration is not anti-war, they're objectively on the other side.

YouTube recently has been offering me stuff I don't watch, over and over, withholding new offerings on channels I subscribe to. An algorithm gone bad, maybe now in the hands of chatgpt.

It's always lacked a "bad guess" button to discourage offering what you never click on.

If you’ve ever followed one of Gadfly’s links down the rabbit hole you would find that his “sources” read like parody too.

Hmmm... I see Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) trial starts today. Considering the allegations made against him and his shady past, I'm glad to see some attempt of accountability. However, it is interesting that Bob Menendez isn't running as a Democrat in 2024 for the Senate seat he now holds. He is considering running as Independent for the seat. So what to make after years of corruption that his trial on related charges begins today? Just months out from the next election?

In 2012, a year Menendez was up for election, DoJ declined to prosecute Bob Menendez for other corruption charges. Yet 5 years later, he was charged again for corruption and tried in 2017 resulting in a hung jury, just in time for a 2018 re-election. It is 2024, another election year for Menendez, and he faces a trial again. Maybe since he is no longer running as a Democrat; might the DoJ finally get a conviction?
