Do you really believe that, Howard? Are you really that messed up inside? Do you really believe that those of us against illegal immigration take pleasure in their deaths and sufferings?

I don’t want a single illegal immigrant to die. Whether by drowning, or heat exhaustion, or starvation, or any other way. I also don’t want them to be murdered, or raped, or assaulted, or trafficked, or used as drug mules. I actually want them not to suffer such things.

The way to prevent that is to remove any and all incentives that are causing them to try and come here, and punish the crime of illegal entry into our country (and those who enable it). I want them to stay where they are, or move to a neighboring country that is safer and better for them. If they want to claim asylum, there are legal ways of doing that. The number of such cases should be minimal.

I also want every crime - murders, rapes, assaults, burglaries, carjackings, drunk driving accidents, etc. - caused by illegal immigrants not to happen. Because they shouldn’t be here in the first place.
