Quoted in "Michael Cohen says he’s reformed. Will America buy it? Resistance hero or reprobate? As Cohen takes the stand against his former boss in Trump’s first criminal trial, it depends on whom you ask" (WaPo)(free access link, so you can sort through the cast of characters).
Arnold was quoting himself advising Michael Cohen.
Arnold — who was on a largely fruitless hunt for incriminating evidence to use in a Viceland series, “The Hunt for the Trump Tapes”.... [A]ccording to Arnold... Cohen confided that he was on the fence about whether to turn state’s evidence.
“He was just back and forth. He wanted Trump to pay for his legal fees, he wanted this or that. He wanted to stay good with Trump,” Arnold recalled in an interview. With the hard-earned wisdom of his four marriages, Arnold said, he gave Cohen some advice. “I said: ‘This is a terrible, toxic relationship, you and Trump. And you’ve got to break up.’”...
“Tom Arnold played no role in my decision to break with Trump,” he wrote in a text message to The Washington Post. “As I have repeatedly stated, that decision was done for my wife, daughter, son and the country.”...

Arnold has a cameo in one of the Austin Powers movies. Austen grunts while fighting a henchman in a toilet stall and an oblivious Arnold, in another stall, says, "That's it, buddy! Tell that turd who's boss."

WaPo quotes Tom Arnold. Tom Arnold - the voice of reason!
Cohen is exceptionally stupid. Figures he was talking to Tom Arnold.
i'm so relieved a washed up Hollywood actor is conducting business with Trump's former creeps.
Toxic lawyers who perjure themselves for a plea deal on their own crimes are the worst lathers to hire. But Trump wanted his services once.
Leftist Actors top list of go-to for Soviet Democratic Press.
"...With the hard-earned wisdom of his four marriages, Arnold said..."
Things in the 'Yet-to-be-proven' category.
Cohen turned against Trump because he was threatened with prison time.
Duh!
“As I have repeatedly stated, that decision was done for my wife, daughter, son and the country.”...
Because, like J6ers, his family will suffer financially and emotionally if the govt locks him up for years.

Cohen is exceptionally stupid. Figures he was working for Donald.
Aside from Cohen singlehandedly reducing the Ashkenazi average IQ by three points, what floors me is that we're in year six of the Cohen Has Flipped story. Admittedly, it's not like the Biden regime has a plethora of better options, but still. What the hell do Eric Weissman, Merrick Garland, and the rest of the Lawfare tribe think they are going to gain?
It sounds more like an SNL skit.
Nothing says "wisdom" like being married four times. Once was enough for me, but I lack Tom Arnold's gravitas.
"Courtesy flush!" Tom Arnold in Austin Powers. I'm guessing he needs take his own advice.
"...Tom Arnold, "the actor and comedian best known for his role on the 1990s sitcom starring Arnold’s ex-wife, Roseanne Barr..."
I liked him better in "True Lies."
“Democracy Dies Covered in Bullshit”
The leftist steno pool is getting desperate for ANY content they can twist into an anti Trump smear job.
Here they are forced to pair up Tom Arnold advising Micheal Cohen.
REALLY? This is what makes the cut for "news"?
Pathetic to the nth degree
Cohen turned against Trump because he was threatened with prison time.
Duh!
Yup. Cohen's political importance puts him below the left's Mendoza line for political prisoners.
The reason Cohen went to prison had nothing to do with Trump.
I, for one, always note that an ex-wife, ex-lover, ex-partner, and so on, is an "ex" for a reason, and the ex carries that reason as a millstone around their neck when giving advice.
If you watch any of Tom Arnold's videos you soon learn he's a four hinge cabinet with only one hinge.
Arnold is a nobody who never was.
A truly stupid man who managed to get a rich woman to marry him and give him a 'career.'
Not who I'd be taking advice from...
LOL same thing Trump told Roseanne about Tom.
I was looking at the corners of Cohen’s mouth last night.
They always seem turned down in a permanent sad frown.
Like a human incarnation of the Droopy Dog cartoon character.

Can I get a courtesy flush over there?
This reminds me of Navalny. Like Trump, Navalny was far from perfect, but was brave and the best opposition leader they had, in Russia. Putin used some trumped-up charges of financial wrongdoing to put him in jail.
Of course, Russia is not the only country that puts opposition leaders in jail. Nicaragua is a closer example. Or Senegal. Or France even. Fillon was the main opposition (center-right) leader at one point. They are putting him in jail for doing something that half the French parliament does with impunity.
This resembles the decade preceding WWII, during which more and more countries became authoritarian (Poland, Japan, Spain, Yugoslavia, etc.; some would say the New Deal counts). By 1939 many more countries were authoritarian than in 1930.
Obviously the US are not immune to this trend, at least this time around.
