Here's a long interview with RFK Jr. and someone I hadn't thought about in a long time — Glenn Beck.

What happens when one kook talks to another?

The Glenn beck show.

Good God, Beck looks like he's 100 years old. The man's only 60. Of course, he was an alcoholic for years, and always been on the chubby side. But what a physical contrast between him and RFK.

It's hard not to like Junior. Don't agree with all of his views, but he is a serious man. I agree 100% with his indictment of the ultra processed food industry and the Big pharma "cure". They are screwing the people coming and going. The classic double bind.

YouTube cut out a bit about the Fauci bioweapon connection.

Glenn is fine. He's harmless. He has some good points but he's a fraction over the 'buy gold and food that will last for 50 years' side of things.

Harmless.

His Wiki says he was raised Roman Catholic, which surprised me. He's always had a bit of a Mormon vibe to me...

There is a poll that purports to show RFK would take away more votes from Trump than Biden.

And that is my hunch too.

He doesn't look good in that picture, but in other recent ones, he looks mich better. You always have to wonder how much the MSM may seek out unflattering pictures for people they hate.

I tnink you're right, Lem. In some swing states, the numbers are troubling.

Like most rootin' tootin' cowboy ranchers, he is.
RFK had to go down to the border recently to get religion on that.

Listened to the entire interview. Wish I could vote for him. I appreciate his views on where big government has ended up. I just don't trust him on the environment and energy.

I think RFKJr would do a whole lot better if he would avoid this continual drawing of examples from his family history. "My uncle said" or " My father..." etc. etc. It's not only tiresome, it indicates that he knows he's riding coattails that disappeared from the political scene 50 years ago. The only thing left to mine is sympathy - and his willingness to exploit that is something he shouldn't be doing as a candidate. He has a lot of ideas. He can relay his strong historical perspective without dredging up his connections. Shut up about the family, already.

I don't trust any of the pollsters except maybe the People's Pundit, who's had a fairly decent record. Biden is still the fair weaker candidate for independents.

Close the blog for tonight; we have our winner.

RFK Jr. loves America, and would work with the best interests of the people foremost in mind. Would I agree with him on everything? No. But he has all his faculties unlike Biden, and doesn't resort to juvenile name calling and tantrums like Trump.
