"I want to send a message that we do love and kindness for all the people who do good and who do bad."

"We want them to give up all the bad things in daily life. You have to work. You have to find money appropriately in daily life.... It was disappointing that they acted like that. But when they ask us 'Are you hating them?' I explain that a Buddhist man tries to stay calm in all situations, good or bad. That is the rule of the Buddhist man.”

Said Suthea Kong, quoted in "Buddhist monks used coat hanger in defense after armed gang stormed NYC temple, urge bungling thieves to 'give up' crime" (NY Post).

According to current popular economic theory, the coat hanger should have been applied 18 years ago.

Critical Age Theory (CAT) assumes DEI in a minority report to justify preemptive "burden" relief of forward-looking toxic human genders.

And the more rat-infested the back alley the better.

Maybe we could send some Buddhists to Tel Aviv and have them teach them.

The criminals will keep attempting the robbery in their future lives until they commit the perfect crime.

After spending $20 million on anti-violence ambassadors, you'd think the coat hanger would have been superfluous.

Bungling thieves ought to give up crime or seek career training, but the tuition is expensive. How does Kathy Hochul live with herself, denying state-funded job training to Brown people?

They might have used Kleenex wrapped around a coat-hang wire.

In South Korea, in the 1980s, I saw on Korean TV, a confrontation between 2 groups of Buddhist monks over possession of a certain temple. They ripped down the iron spikes of an iron picket fence and attacked each other with them. They didn't use coat hangers. The idea of peaceful Buddhist monks is a Western myth.

The "Palestinians" can teach the Buddhists to murder, rape, torture, and otherwise terrorize populations in perpetuity, for nearly a century, with material support from the UN and empathetic equity and inclusion of the diverse transnational community.

FFS! Robbing a Buddhist temple? How much longer are we going to tolerate this savagery?

used Kleenex

I had to Bing... DuckDuckGo that to date it.

Which criminal genius came up with the idea of robbing monks? Maybe he didn't want to discriminate. "I will rob anyone regardless of sex, race, religion, or wealth!"

It's just the only thing I could think of that hadn't already been said about coathangers, n.n.

That's great. Admirable. Did they cooperate with police so other innocents might not be victimized by these men, lest their little pep talk doesn't take?

We had a similar incident at a meditation center in Atlanta. A crazed man entered the room, grabbed a woman, and dragged her out of the building. I don't recall if she escaped or was victimized. The many men in the room did not stop him.
