Fauci admitted today that the COVID lab leak was not a conspiracy theory. And the US funded gain of function research. He also admitted social distancing was not based on "science" especially the six-foot rule. What a lying asshole.

I thought it was all bullshit in early 2020 when they said the Wuhan lab was a short distance away from the bat-soup wet market. Seemed like a backup plan for plausible deniability. And then the wet market re-opened as the US shut down.

You know who fell for and imposed Fauci's bullshit more than anyone? The education establishment. Especially our DEI infested "higher" educators.

If you thought masks were bullshit, bat-soup was bullshit, social distancing was bullshit, closed schools was bullshit...and resisted taking the poison mRNA shot, you were right about everything.

Liberals worshiped Fauci as a secular saint. Remember, questioning Fauci was questioning science itself. Idiots. All of them. And total assholes on top of all of it. Move on, but NEVER forget their arrogance, dishonesty, and stupidity. Especially the highly credentialed.

"Just before the 2020 presidential election, independent research scientists with expertise in aging and longevity reviewed, assessed and published  all of Biden’s publicly available medical records. The information evaluated included his family history, behavioral risk factors, medical history, physical examinations, laboratory and other diagnostic tests, including aging-related biomarkers.
The conclusion was that Biden was in excellent health for a 77-year-old man. His health challenges were minimal, his laboratory blood work reflected that of a healthy younger man, and his physical activity was exceptional. He has a family history of dementia-free longevity and there was no evidence of cognitive decline in his personal medical records.
While Biden’s formal health status will be reevaluated closer to the forthcoming election, his medical records published in his years since taking office so far indicate no significant change in physical or mental health status has occurred."
--
Based on his (unmentioned) medical history, he should be referred to as Pop Top.
But good fuckin' grief. Compare him in 2020 to now. STFU
You, you know the thing!!!!!

Just look at video of Biden when he was VP and compare it to today if you want evidence of cognitive decline.

So Lloyd Austin had “elective” cancer surgery. The more I think about it, the more convinced I am that he was worried that if the hard liners knew that he was incapacitated, they might start WW3 by usurping his power. Apparently he didn’t trust Biden either. Remember that the Houthi/Red Sea thing was blazing hot, we were on the brink of war with Iran, and we had used our spy planes to help Ukraine sink a Russian ship. All of this going on and SECDEF is AWOL.

We just learned a little bit about how our country is run at the highest levels, it’s cliques just like high school.

Google translates the Chouraqui bible

Headstrong elohims created the heavens and the earth,
the earth was hustle and bustle,
a darkness on the faces of the abyss,
but the breath of elohim hovered over the faces of the waters.
elohims says: a light will be.
and it is a light.
elohims sees the light: what good!
elohims separates the light from the darkness.
elohims cries to the light: day.
in the darkness he had cried: night.
and it is evening and it is morning: day one.
elohims says: a ceiling will be in the middle of the waters:
it is to separate between the waters and between the waters.
elohims makes the ceiling.
it separates the water under the ceiling from the water on the ceiling.
and it is so.
elohims shouts at the ceiling; skies.
and it is evening and it is morning: day two.
elohims says: the waters will line up under the skies
towards a single place, the dry will be seen.

Got a question: how political was the original Star Trek? I couldn't find a lot of examples. Here's something I commented on Facebook:

In a show about the government in space a lot of the conflicts will revolve around governments. But those conflicts rarely touched on contemporary political issues. They mostly sent the generic message that petty tribalism is bad and unchecked authority (especially computerized authority) is bad.

The Cold War influences are there, but even the Vietnam parable cast the the proxies for the Soviets as the aggressors; the debate over how to deal with Communist expansion was never alluded to in TOS. "The Return of the Archons" gave Communism a bad rap as well.

Racial harmony is a backdrop in the show, which is inherently cultural and not political. "Battlefield" is the one episode that mixes race and politics. The final outcome on Cheron suggests that the majority of the oppressed did not respond to the oppression productively; some viewing the show in '70s syndication might conclude that Lokai's people failed to keep their counterpart to the Weather Underground in check. Maybe the black/whites and white/blacks took turns being the ruling faction over hundreds of thousands of years.

The only whiff of economic policy I can find in TOS on short notice is "The Cloud Minders," which featured a feudal system. If the private sector owned the mineral rights and freedom from involuntary servitude that would wreck the plot.

WSJ: More Teens Who Use Marijuana Are Suffering From Psychosis
Legalization efforts have made cannabis more readily available in much of the country. More frequent use of marijuana that is many times as potent as strains common three decades ago is leading to more psychotic episodes, according to doctors and recent research.

“This isn’t the cannabis of 20, 30 years ago,” said Dr. Deepali Gershan, an addiction psychiatrist at Compass Health Center in Northbrook, Ill. Up to 20% of her caseload is patients for whom she suspects cannabis use triggered a psychotic episode.

Not to worry though!

Alas, I myself no longer have the time and energy to launch such a demanding labor of love.

I've had both eyes done for cataract surgery. Friday is my final post-op appointment, 30-days after the 2nd eye surgery. Everything went fine. Things are brighter than before.

The surgery sells a compound eye-drop solution which has all the different medicines in one vial, so it's just one drop four times a day instead of multiple drops, four times a day.

You are bumbling, Bee.

During a House Committee hearing in November 2023, Rep. Clay Higgins, R-La., claimed that an undercover bus “filled with FBI informants dressed as Trump supporters, deployed onto our Capitol on January 6th.”

During a hearing with FBI director Christopher Wray, Higgins displayed a picture from inside the Union Station parking garage on Jan. 6 and asked if Wray was familiar with ghost buses.

“These buses are nefarious in nature and were filled with FBI informants dressed as Trump supporters deployed unto our Capitol on Jan. 6,” Higgins said. “Your day is coming, Mr. Wray.”

This stupid politician also hangs out with Oath Keepers and declares that we should kill all Muslims. How he could determine that 100 folks wearing MAGA hats were likely FBI agents is anyone's guess, since asking them wouldn't work.

Secondly, the Foreign Affairs Council information was a distortion of what really happened.

Shapiro Administration and OpenAI Launch First-in-the-Nation Generative AI Pilot for Commonwealth Employees

"Building on Governor Shapiro’s Executive Order, the Shapiro Administration is taking a historic first step to utilize generative AI in state government employee operations, demonstrating an employee-centered approach that balances innovation with safety, security, and privacy.

Governor Shapiro will meet with senior OpenAI executives today to discuss his employee-centric approach to responsible generative AI usage and the importance of responsible generative AI development.

...

The ChatGPT Enterprise pilot will begin in January 2024 and is initially limited to OA employees who will use the tool for tasks such as creating and editing copy, making outdated policy language more accessible, drafting job descriptions to help with recruitment and hiring, addressing duplication and conflicting guidance within hundreds of thousands of pages of employee policy, helping employees generate code, and more. Employees will receive individual support and guidance on how they should use the tool and will also provide continuous feedback to the pilot team to help the Commonwealth determine future best uses. An additional 100 licenses will eventually be available to non-OA agency employees for shorter periods of time after initial feedback and findings from OA employees are gathered.

The enterprise version of ChatGPT has additional security, privacy, and management features not found in the consumer version. As such, no inputs, feedback, or data input by the Commonwealth into the tool will be used to train ChatGPT or future products from OpenAI. The added cybersecurity measures also ensure that no data of any kind is shared between agencies or separate Commonwealth entities. Commonwealth employees may not use any sensitive information – including any Pennsylvanian’s personally identifiable information – when utilizing ChatGPT for day-to-day operations.
"

I've got to wonder what assumptions are baked into OpenAI that might result in unexpected changes to 'outdated policy language.'

Compare his fitness in the video to what he is today: A tired, old man, ready for his rocking chair and lap blanket. Always ready to tell an audience about his glory days with Corn Pop, MLK, Jr, and other fabulous stories of Joe's daring-do.

Here's Chouraqui translated from French by a competent translator (different passage)

Here are the sons of Shem
for their clans, for their tongues,
in their lands, for their peoples.
Here are the clans of the sons of Noah for their exploits,
in their peoples:
from the latter divide the peoples on earth, after the flood.

And it is all the earth: a single lip, one speech.
And it is at their departure from the Orient: they find a canyon,
in the land of Shine'ar;
They settle there.
They say, each to his like:
"Come, let us brick some bricks.
Let us fire them in the fire."
The brick becomes for them stone, the tar, mortar.
They say:
"Come, let us build ourselves a city and a tower.
Its head: in the heavens.
Let us make ourselves a name,
that we not be scattered over the face of all the earth.

YHWH descends to see the city and the tower
that the sons of man have built.
YHWH says:
"Yes! A single people, a single lip for all:
that is what they begin to do! . . .
Come! Let us descend! Let us confound their lips,
man will no longer understand the lip of his neighbor."

YHWH disperses them from there over the face of all the earth.
They cease to build the city.
Over which he proclaims his name: Bavel, Confusion,
for there, YHWH confounds the lip of all the earth,
and from there YHWH disperses them over the face of all the earth.
