There was a clump of foliage that looked like legit pure cadmium yellow on the west bank of the pond at sunrise this morning.

Luckily, my neighbor planted a sugar maple in his yard years ago, (from his wives family homestead in Cooperstown, NY!!) so that gives me my Autumn colors. Maynard said...: Back in the 80s and 90s I used to go up to Door County several times a year.

They called it the "leaf turnin'" in the Fall. It was always spectacular.

Here in Arizona we get excited about cooler weather, but there is little leaf turnin'.; 10/22/23, 9:11 PM
