Holy crap. It turns out that in Wisconsin the election was "fortified" by a wi-fi connection to voting machines that put them under the control of a non government employee who was a member of a special interest group, and this person was able to decide which votes were counted and which were discarded.

There is a reason that we don't use paper ballots, it's because the people making the decisions about it got themselves elected with the current rotten to the core system.

Here is the official government report documenting the above election shenanigans

Search on "ballots were controlled by a single individual," and "determined which ones were counted and not counted."

“As a Democrat, who has been left homeless, who is now definitely in the center, but probably leaning increasingly right, I’m left yet again with an appreciation, despite the messenger of the message, of the Trump administration, because what those guys did, was pretty incredible,” Palihapitiya said on his podcast show “All-in-Podcast.”

“This is a moment when you have to start to re-underwrite, is one’s ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ causing more damage than anything President Trump could have done? And I think the answer is yes,” Palihapitiya said, acknowledging that his previous criticisms were misguided.

“Because it is now causing us to not see that good work, and then embrace and extend it. So much of the work that happened in that administration turned out to have been right, and that is what is so frustrating for me,” he added.

The general consensus is that someone has to win the gravel but nobody can win the war. This is a poisoned chalice and no mistake. I would be amused to see Jordan fail but I don’t think it matters one way or another. He will fail to get any business done, which will look like a muppet show, delight the cult but appall the other 75% of Americans.

The Democrats are already rubbing their hands with glee at the prospect, looking forward to making the Republicans own any decision to kowtow to Trump, Jordan is Trump’s sock puppet, during their 2024 campaign, and it won’t be a good look.

Looked a lot different at my place away from the lake! But I saw the lake-effect clouds on my walk in.

This picture is suitable for framing. I might just do that. I can’t get over how beautiful it is.

I love that typo. It's like "taking all the marbles". Maybe someone should grovel in order to win the gravel.

I predict they'll give McHenry expanded powers and the House will go without a Speaker until 2025.

Reminds me of a Whistler Nocturne. Very nice.

Grovel in the gravel for the gavel.

I can’t think of a better one, either, sir. Outstanding. Thank you, Althouse.

I was hoping to come back here and find someone telling me that was a great Duke Ellington track, but no such luck.

Oh, @farmgirl! That was wonderful.
