There’s a wonderful 2011 faithful recreation of the 1943 Broadway production of Oklahoma! on YouTube (Univ of N. Carolina, School of the Arts) “Every note, every word, as well as sets, costumes, and props - as well as the dances have been brought back to life.” Gemze de Lappe, who had assisted Agnes de Mille and had been one of the original dream ballet Laureys, helped with the choreography. Celeste Holm (original B’way Ado Annie) and Joan Roberts (original B’way Laurey) added their memories. All the students do a magnificent job. And the performance is expertly filmed. The original costumes (according to a YouTube commenter) were inspired by the Sears Catalog from the 1900s. And I loved them, the color palette, the set design. My cup of tea. Well worth a view. Act 1 and Act 2 are separate videos.
"In August 2022, James O’Keefe needed to get to Maine for a sailing trip. Rather than take a commercial flight for roughly $200, the conservative undercover-video activist directed his employees to book a $12,000 helicopter flight direct from New York to the seaside town of Southwest Harbor, using funds donated to Project Veritas, the nonprofit he founded, according to a draft of a private internal audit conducted by an independent law firm."
Mehdi Hassan had a good question for Ramaswamy. He asked Ramaswamy to explain the Ramaswamy Tweet on January 12, 2021 at 5:54 am: "What Trump did last week was wrong. Downright abhorrent. Plain and simple. I've said it before and did so in my piece."
Now the reference to his "piece" was an op-ed that Ramaswamy co-wrote with Jed Rubenfeld and which was published in the Wall Street Journal on January 11, 2021. That op-ed began; "Facebook and Twitter banned President Trump and numerous supporters after last week's disgraceful Capitol riot..."
On MSNBC video, Mehdi gives Ramaswamy plenty of space to answer the question. He tried three times; in the end, numbering his efforts. Ramaswamy never answered it.
I know that Ramaswamy gets at least some credit from many of his detractors for at least being glib and a "good talker." I don't see it. He's not even very thoughtful about avoiding questions and not answering. It's just non-stop, unhesitating lying at a garbage level.
"Liberty Safe was sold to Monomoy Capital Partners in 2021, a liberal East Coast investment firm. I pulled the FEC reports on the company and found approximately $400,000 over the last 10 cycles of max donations to Democrats like:
Raphael Warnock in GA John Fetterman in PA Mandela Barnes in WI Mark Kelly in AZ
Liberty Safe’s current CEO, Justin Hillenbrand, was a founding partner of Monomoy and donated $4,600 to Obama for America.
And we're supposed to be surprised they betrayed their customers to the FBI as quickly as humanly possible?"
How many people are still missing from the Maui fire? Why no news reports? Is the Fake News covering for the Dems? Why isn’t the NYT and 60 Minutes there? What is going on?
NY mag, “ But the next day, the FBI announced that there were still 385 people who were unaccounted for. While authorities were able to remove 245 people from the list of 388, almost the same number was added by the Red Cross and individuals looking for their loved ones. By September 5, officials whittled the list down slightly to 365.”
The WSJ is a Major ukraine war cheerleader, frequently running articles about HOW AWESOME the war is going. I'm Not going to question their veracity.. But there is something i've noticed in the pix that accompany their articles. The Ukrainian troops they show.. ALL seem to be REALLY Old; like 40's and 50's. Of course, it's hard to figure out how old a Eur-asian is (i think they ALL look old).. And soldiers usually look old for their age too. BUT; i just Don't see ANY Ukrainian soldiers that look like they could be under 30 (even giving them the benefit of the doubt).
So, the thing is: WHAT Happened to the Ukrainian Youths? Did they all flee the country? Are they all dead? Are the Ukrainians NOT showing them in their propaganda pix? If so, WHY?
How come all the Ukrainian soldiers look like they are middle aged? comments?

"The contrast of orange and blu is remarkable. I don't think I have seen it's like before."
The orange/pink patch in the first photograph was the most colorful part of the sky in this sunrise, and it is looking north. The second photo looks straight toward the sunrise.
The smoke has created a lot of interesting shows here. Moonrises that look like the covers of old sci-fi paperback novels, red sunrises, etc... Distant mountains are totally obscured, and close by hills that normally appear green are a faded milky blue. I just want to thank the eco-terrorists who think that this will make me more sympathetic to their cause.
