NYT: “Infamous ‘Drop Dead’ Was Never Said by Ford”

It was actually Mike Pence who said it.

What passes for journalism at the NYT. Tucker Carlson Turns a Christian Presidential Forum Into a Putin Showcase

Mercifully, it's behind a paywall, but the headline is enough.

I may have come to understand why the left is so gung-ho at supporting Ukraine in a war with little impact on us. They're compelled to keep up the big lie started by Hillary's inability to accept defeat. Russia as boogey man.

I used to watch this show with an archeologist who was an Orthodox Jew, who said that Nephalem didn't mean "giant," that that was a mistake of the Greek translators who believed that giants roamed the earth before men, but rather it means "those without the light of God." That's what AI reminds me of.

Pedo Pete strikes again! No, I am not going to link the video of Joe Biden licking that poor child in Finland, but rather we now know the explanation for why, not only Joe Biden fired that prosecutor in Ukraine, but why the Democrats impeached Trump for even looking into it. We also know Nancy Pelosi's son was involved in Ukraine graft, BTW.

House Oversight member, Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene, has confirmed that the "unnamed" foreign national who allegedly bribed Joe and Hunter Biden with $10 million, was none other than Burisma founder Mykola Zlochevsky.

The now infamous FBI FD-1023 form provide by Wray had redacted Zlochevsky's name but detailed a $10 million bribe to the Bidens with someone connected to Burisma.

Remember this when Joe Biden escalates the Ukraine war again.

I knew that the New York Times wrote favorably about Stalin and Castro, but apparently also Kaiser Wilhelm II:

On 8 June 1913, a year before the Great War began, The New York Times published a special supplement devoted to the 25th anniversary of the Kaiser's accession. The banner headline read: "Kaiser, 25 Years a Ruler, Hailed as Chief Peacemaker". The accompanying story called him "the greatest factor for peace that our time can show", and credited Wilhelm with frequently rescuing Europe from the brink of war.

While much of the country is tormented by heat or rain, we've had a stretch of fairly pleasant weather for July--scattered showers and considerable cloudiness most days. We haven't even had
any power outages here through the last few rounds of storm (knock on wood).

To win his recently filed lawsuit against Fox News, Ray Epps has to convince a jury that he sincerely wanted to overthrow the U.S. government to install a fascist dictator and that anyone who suggests otherwise is a dirty, rotten liar. "I'm exactly the piece of scum my detractors deny that I am," is a weird legal argument. But such is the topsy-turvy world that we live in. A world where Epps may actually win a big pot of gold. ~Amanda Marcotte, Salon

BTW. Epps is being represented by the same lawyer that already scraped $8 hundred million from Fox while working for Dominion.

CNBC reports that President Joe Biden raised more than $72 million for his 2024 reelection effort in the second quarter of this year, according to the Biden-Harris campaign.

But the Washington Free Beacon and all the other far-right sources declare:

"President Joe Biden won't actually be running for reelection," CNN reported Thursday.

[Top Democratic donors and officials] say that "time is already running out" for Biden, who has officially announced his candidacy but hasn't named a campaign finance director, hired any on-the-ground staff in competitive states, or even opened a campaign headquarters.

CNN did not report that Biden won't run!

Response to Chuck.

When someone hasn’t seen a real debate, perhaps ever, a real debate can seem like act of violence.

”‘Words are violence’ is the slogan of tyranny”

Someone should send Chuck a copy of Dale Carnegie's book.

Surprised to see that as a news article. Everyone always knew it was a paraphrase.

Not a good decision by Asa Hutchinson and Mike Pence to willingly get filleted by Tucker Carlson. It's a shame I do not see Krispey Kreme Christie on Carlson's itinerary. I suspect Christie's gym schedule does not permit it.

"When we invest in clean energy and electric vehicles and reduce population, more of our children can breathe clean air and drink clean water," Harris told a crowd at Coppin State University in Baltimore, Maryland in a speech centered on the Inflation Reduction Act.

i guess they said "less is more".. Now they say reduce means more!

When Moses came down from Sinai, his face shone. A typo led to Moses having horns instead. And that meant all Jews had horns hiding under their headgear.

And Muslims being promised 72 'virgins' is a mis-translation of 72 'raisins'.

Bringing it back to your point, the rise of AI means the rise of an AI that is anti-Semitic, islamofascist, and still can't make the B8 distinction in computer science.

Rocco, there was a mis-translation but the actual text should be "one 72 year old virgin."

It turns out that I was wrong about CNN's story. Edward-Isaac Devore wrote a story entitled "Slow pace of Biden's reelection campaign feeds Democrats' 2024 anxiety."

As to your speculative misdirection, that will not happen because the DNC and all presidential fundraising organizations are into this up to their nostrils no matter what else happens.
