Mom, dad, I'm not transgender, not even trans/social, and no desire to be a subject in Levine's personal affirmation of simulated gender. Put away your scalpels, your molds, your amendments. You'll have to get your virtue boosters somewhere else. #PenisEnvy #Genderfication #PoliticalCongruence
LOL, well done!
It’s satire but you know damn well this happens in Bennington Vermont more than we can imagine…
I'm sure our super woke neighbor would be VERY disappointed if her boys turn out to be straight. She might learn to live with bi but straight is definitely out.
I put that down in category of things that have never happened. Parents want grandkids.
"Coming out to your parents... as straight."

don't parents need to come out children also?

it's Sad.. Because It's TRUE
@Michael The Magnificent:
It was posted on Youtube 9 years ago, but aired 41 years ago.
The best layer of this satire onion is the one where the parents are themselves straight.
Mom, dad, I'm marrying Jenny, she's feminine-female, and we hope to have a mutual "burden" within 3 trimesters at the outside.
This is funnier than anything on SNL or late night television in ten years.
In the early days of AIDS, the press was saying the disease appeared to be especially dangerous to Haitian immigrants and gay men. So it didn't take long....
Q: "What's the hardest part about having AIDS?"
A: "Convincing your parents you're Haitian."

I was actually going to comment sharing this video as well. But as another pointed out this SNL skit aired more than 40 years ago. The type of parents being mocked in the present day skit were probably born around the time the SNL skit first aired. There has been somewhat of a reversal of targets as well. The SNL skit was mocking parents who can't accept their child is gay and worry it is because something they did wrong. The present day skit is mocking parents who want their child to be gay because they think that is good or special, or perhaps gives them social justice points or status instead of just accepting their child for who that child is. The SNL skit is a role-reversal to try to point out the absurdity of controlling your child's sexual orientation. The present day skit is an exaggerated example of the actual parental role being mocked.
